an unseasonably warm october sun beat down on the dark-haired girl as she fiddled with her phone on a flimsy tripod. avi was nowhere to be found, so phe was forced to be her own camerawoman as she tried to film this bit of media for her new, ever-growing version of the town website. her hands fiddled with her hair as she moved into frame, cherry-colored lips turning into a smile.

"three...two...one. hello and welcome back to another 'aspen creek minute' with your web hostess: daphne cohen-levy." her voice bright and cheery, almost too perfect (just as her media training had prepared her for). "today, we are at the long-awaited and always anticipated harvestfest! every fall, our families are just buzzing for this event which, this year, has completely outdone itself! let's see what some of our attendees have to say about the festivities." her smile immediately fading as she ran over to her phone to hit stop. that take was probably trash, but it'll have to do.

dark eyes scanned the crowd for a somewhat familiar face (the last thing the girl wanted to do was try to interview someone she hardly knew. not today. not with the deadline she had set for herself). thankfully, through the crowd, there was jordy. the two weren't exactly close but she knew enough about the girl. at least, enough to get through this frivolous interview. black mary-janes tiptoed through the crowds of people over to the other. "hey!" phe's smile finding a home within her stressed face. "wanna do a small interview for the aspen creek website? all i'd need is about a minute of your time and a signature for the photo release forms."
