He knew the risk he ran defecting, he knew there was a greater chance of Octavia never forgiving him after this. He knew every single risk he was taking by assisting Echo. If she couldn’t make it on the ship, he could. He kept his head down as he followed her into the church, wide eyes searching the room for any clues, but all he could see were the ghosts of those who once lived and the ones who had become ghosts in their own sense, lost to the stars many years ago now back to reclaim it all. But there was a pang of relief when his eyes fell to Raven, he wanted to run to her, but instead all he could offer was a saddened smile as he was brought in, a prisoner once more.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” his eyes darted back to her as they pulled into the neighborhood. He knew it was a lot to take on, especially for two people who didn’t exactly know what they were doing. “I can’t bail out, but  you’ve got time.”

“Do you think it’ll snow?” his eyes not leaving the painted sky, the frigged air making him wonder if their first winter was upon them. He didn’t have much he cared for anymore, but the idea of snow seemed to awaken the kid who first fell to ground. “I wonder if its great as they told us it was.”
