The night shift was surprisingly slow which wasn't usually the case for the general hospital. But of course Willa didn't mind it, because everyone knew what kind of patients would roll into the ER during the night. So she did some paper work and was dealing with some notes with nurses when she heard two of her interns talk about a patient that was just admitted. "Male, in his forties... Trauma to the head."one said. "No, his arm is all busted."said the other, and the whole argument started. "You think he got into a fight? He looks like the type."one mused while the other shrugged. "Dunno, but he's hot either way."they both snickered and Willa had to cut in.
"Since both of you are quick to judge and obviously can't remember what kind of trauma the patient has suffered, i'll be taking over - he might be in urgent need of care while you argue if he's hot or not."she scolded them and took the chart from the hands. "Now go finish your notes."Willa said firmly and began walking towards the room the patient was in. Surely her interns had irrited her a bit with such behavior, but she was also bored and just wanted to do something useful.
Walking into the room, Willa didn't look at the man right away but instead read from his charts. "Alright, Mister Jones, I'm doctor Trembley. Would like to hear what happened to you, where it hurts, before I access you..."she continued on speaking as she put the chart down and began pulling on the gloves before she actually looked in his direction.

She doubted that, there was nothing about him that screamed clumsy. But she wasn't going to get into it too much, maybe it was for the best if she didn't know. "Oh, that's very thoughtful of you, Felix. Thanks. They are beautiful."Willa hummed, the bouquet was simple and colorful which she liked, the hospital was so simple and white, she did lack some color in her life. "Busy, yes, but even the best of us need a break and time to ourselves."Willa said with a shrug as they were shown to their table and she immediately asked for the water so she could put the flowers on the table with them. "Plus, I was really looking forward to our dinner date. Believe it or not, I don't go out that much."she pointed out with a chuckle. "This is a cute place, have you eaten here before?" @ofginjxints
Felix wasn't a fancy guy by any means, and he knew he was probably punching above his weight asking a doctor out but he had thrown caution to the wind. Life was too fucking short not to ask out a pretty doctor. "Well I'm a clumsy guy, there's still time." He grinned as he handed over the bouquet. "Sure are." He figured it would have been a good start. He pushed open the door and gestured for her to walk through first before being shown to their table. "Thanks for coming tonight - you're a busy woman no doubt."

A week went by rather quickly when you put together a lot of double shifts. And before she knew it, it was Friday and tonight was date night. She showed up right after her shift, sometimes it seemed like she lived in that hospital. But Willa took a needed shower, let her hair down from the messy bun it was in, making it wavy, and put on a simple black dress with a pair of flats. Not wanting to be late, she actually put on her mascara and lipstick on the way there, and admired the outside of the small restaurant he picked out for tonight. And as her hues found him standing there looking all handsome with a bouquet in hands, Willa chuckled to herself before approaching him. "I finally get to see you without any blood on you. And you clean up real nice, I must say."Willa mused as she stopped right in front of him. "Hi. - Are those for me?"she muttered as her eyes fell onto the flowers he held. @ofginjxints

Felix didn't know what had gotten into him to ask someone like a doctor out, but here he was ready to meet up with her on a date. They had agreed to meet outside the restaurant and he had worn a simple button up with a pair of jeans, he didn't want to over or underdress. He'd bought a bunch of flowers, nothing fancy, just something from the supermarket, but something Willa would hopefully like. He arrived in front of San Marco's, a humble, independent Italian restaurant, stood next to the door to await his date.

Oh he most definitively was flirting with her, Willa could sense the change in the sound of his voice from the first moment she got into the examination room until now. Wouldn't be the first time a patient has tried to flirt with her, but he did it far more fun and entertaining from others. "Maybe it wouldn't be so fun if I pin you down with my knee right where it's gonna hurt."she murmured with a single wiggle of her brows, all while working on his cut.
Willa's hands were rather steady, sometimes she'd get comments how she should have had persuaded the neuro surgery. There was a tight little smirk on her lips as he complimented her name. But what he said next took her by surprise completely. Her hand stopped mid air as she was about to make a final stich, hazel hues looking into his eyes, with a twinkle of amusement in hers. "That's not what I usually practice. And this is merely a scratch on a man of your size"brunette mused in a teasing tone, and finished the final stitch on his jawline before continuing. "But, you're quite a mysterious persona, Felix. That intrigues me. And maybe... Maybe I'd like to take a look at your cuts and the wound. I'll have to ask you to put this antibiotic onto them, your skin around them is quite red, there is a slight infection going on."Willa explained as she got up from the chair and disposed of the tools before taking off her rubber gloves. "If you do it daily, the redness should disappear by Friday."Willa continued on as she grabbed a small tube of antibiotic creme to give it to him. "Would eight o'clock on Friday be alright with you?"she asked, offering him a bright smile. @ofginjxints
"I volunteer, sounds like it'd be fun being pinned down by you." He flirted quite obviously, suppressing the pained expressions as she started stitching at his wound. It wasn't the first time he had gotten stitches but it was still a type of pain he preferred not to endure. Still, she was gentle and precise which minimised the pain.
"Lovely name." Felix nodded, biting his inner lip as she continued stitching him. "So outside of being a doctor and doing krav maga, you happen to like going for dinner with guys with freshly closed wounds?" He had to give it a go, of course. He wouldn't have forgiven himself if he didn't shoot his shot. // @utterxdesires

"Not outside of the hospital."she teased him back. Not like she was going to really wrestle with him, of course, but it was a very fun banter. Her hand dropped as soon as he took the creme, and glanced at the phone he pulled out to write down her number. This would be quite a story to tell, scheduling a dinner date with a man she just stitched up. Dictating her number to him to write down, she wanted to ask how he'll write her name down when they were interrupted by a nurse that busted in, saying she's sorry and talking to Willa how she was needed as there was a big car accident that happened and two patients were about to get rolled in. "I'll be waiting for that text, Felix. Do stay out of trouble. At least until Friday."Willa mused and gave his hand a pat as she looked at him before rushing after the nurse to go do what she does best. @ofginjxints
"Now, now, doc - I'm sure there's rules against turning on your patients." He raised his hands innocently, a cheeky grin on his face as she continued stitching him up, even if it did hurt a little to smile while she worked on his jaw.
Brows furrowed for a moment as she spoke, wondering whether he had overstepped at all, though after the final stitch he was more than assured he had steered the conversation in the right direction. "Yes ma'am." He nodded as he accepted the cream, nodding at her final words. "Sounds perfect." Pulling out his phone from his back pocket, he opened it up to his contacts, "So I give you message when I book a restaurant." // @utterxdesires

Her gaze lifted up towards him just in time as he smiled at her. He made her chuckle, the conversation with him went quite smoothly, considering his situation and her having to patch him up. Even with all the little cuts and bruises, the blood on his skin, he was attractive and nice to look at. And he followed her commands with ease; it made her wonder if he served the army, maybe worked in the law enforcement, or was he just doing everything she said so he'd get out of here quickly.
Felix's conclusion made Willa laugh shortly, once again catching his gaze before focusing on cleaning his wound. "Maybe. I did take Krav Maga lessons before. I'm actually confident I could get you down on the floor without putting much effort to it."she teased with an arched brow. Patting at the wound gently once he hissed lightly, Willa grabbed the thread and needle, ready to start stitching him up, deciding not to comment on the state of the other guy he got into the fight with - if he gets admitted tonight, she'll probably know. "Sometimes it feels like that's exactly my name, I've been working in this hospital for way too long."she told him jokingly and did the first stich, giving herself a moment to debate if she should give him her first name. "It's Willa."she finally mused, looking at him once before going back to his jaw. @ofginjxints
"Well thank god for that." He flashed her a crooked and currently bloodied smile, she seemed attentive, though obviously that was her job. He hummed as she confirmed what he knew already. Truth be told if it weren't in such an awkward place, he probably could have done it himself, probably not as good a job as she would but good enough. It was lucky he was here instead. "Yes ma'am." Felix shuffled back and laid back as instructed.
"Probably 'cause you'd win 'em all. I know a sleeper build when I see it." He teased, gaze meeting hers as he shrugged. "You'll probably spend more time with him." He hissed just a little as she began cleaning his wound. "So do you have a first name or it is first name Doctor second name Tremblay? Your parents super ambitious from day one?"

"How very thoughtful of you, Felix. If only more patients were like you."she said jokingly, obviously you never knew in trauma how the patients would roll in. Felix was certainly the first kind of a patient for her. "The night is actually going very slow so I stole you from my interns."she added. As he gestured at his jaw, Willa took a closer look, there was a nasty looking jag there which made her brows furrow. "Yeah... most definitively need stitches there."she confirmed without a second thought. "Lay down back on the bed for me, will you, Felix? So I can access your jaw."
Willa began preparing what she needed as he continued on. "I wouldn't know how it is, i'm not really a type to get into fights."she said jokingly. "Did the other guy get it worse? Maybe he'll be admitted tonight and make my night even busier."she said with a chuckle and a sigh before starting to clean the deep jag on his jaw.
Felix returned the smile to the pretty doctor and nodded. "Figured you'd had a long enough night so didn't want to keep you any longer." He chuckled. "No, no. I'm no more stupid than I normally am." Another chuckle, though he shook his head. "Nah, all surface wounds." He gestured generally at his jaw, a deep jag that wasn't exactly gushing with blood but was constantly seeping through nonetheless. "This is the worst."
He shrugged, "Just got in a fight - you know how it is. Lil rough-and-tumble. Nothing to report home about." He had mumbled, not really wanting to get into all that he was doing.

Willa's big eyes focused onto him once he spoke, and without even looking at him she could tell he was a huge man judging by the deepness of his voice. "Alright... I guess it's that time of the night where we can drop all of the formalities."she suggested with a small yet warm smile; he really was handsome, as her interns said earlier, but being the professional she began searching for the visible injuries. "Willa is fine, too."she then said her first name, in case it'd make him feel more comfortable being here.
As he began explaining how he cleaned and patched up everything he could, her brow rose curiously. "Absolutely love it when patients do most of my work for me."she joked as a soft laugh followed. "Okay, Felix, I can tell you want to be out of here as soon as possible, which I don't blame you for. So i'll try and be as quick and thorough as I can."she explained. Willa took the hold of his hand, carefully, and extended it towards herself so she could take a better look. She's seen these type of injuries many times, obviously he got into a fight with someone. Some of the cuts on his arms also came from a weapon, and Willa began cleaning them up just to see which ones are in need of some stitches. "Sorry if this stings, some of the cuts are a bit deep."she hummed and looked up at him once before going back to work. "Felix, are there any other injuries I should be aware of? If you suffered trauma to any other part of your body, maybe you need an ultrasound, xray, MRI... Maybe you could tell me what happened tonight?"
Felix hated hospitals, he hated anything medical, he spent enough time in one for his knee when he was honourably discharged. It was a shitty time and he would much rather have not been there. He had done a job, a routine one if it weren't for the fact his victim had a hidden pen knife and managed to get a slash in before he shut that shit down. It wasn't too painful, no worse than other fights he'd been in. If it weren't for the fact he hadn't stopped bleeding and realised he needed stitches, he would have just stayed home and gotten over it.
He turned when someone walked in, a rather beautiful woman. "Felix is fine." He corrected, "I cleaned everything and patched everything else up fine, doc." He lifted his knuckles that were battered and bruised, a few scratches on his arms that were cleaned and tended to. "The pain isn't even that bad. I just need a couple stitches and I can be on my way."
