"for his sake, i hope she does." his head tilted to nudge his nose against hers before ryder slotted their lips together in a deep and desperately kiss that took his breath away. "are you kidding? i love it," he said softly with another couple kisses pressed along her back. it was seconds later when she shifted to face him better, pulling herself flush against him and ryder draped his arm over her waist to hold her there with fingertips lightly trailing over her back. "i'll tell you one thing. i sure as hell didn't expect to wake up like this the first morning i was out," he whispered and chuckled lowly. inhaling a deep breath, he met her gaze and slowly let it out before kissing her back. his palm pressing against her back to keep her flush against him. "i love you, baby." the words were whispered against her lips and he pulled back enough to meet her gaze. ryder knew her ring was on the bedside table, tucked away so she didn't have to wear it and think of anything other than the two of them together, but he still knew the ring and the person who gave it to her was a big problem for them. "how long do i have you for?"

being with ryder again was probably the best she'd felt in a very long time. she couldn't imagine herself being anywhere else. she felt brushing against her back and shifted a little, but turned her head to give him a sleepy smile, "g'morning," she mumbled as she watched him kissed her back. "you really like it, huh?" alexandria said softly and moved to press herself flush against him. her face was buried in the crook of his neck and she sighed softly as she peppered little kisses against his skin. "i love you. i missed this. waking up beside you...so much," she rasped and looked up at him before leaning in for a kiss to his lips.
