Word Find Tag
Gonna jump on @winterandwords‘s open tag to find the words no, none, nothing and not.
Beforehand, because if I know myself at all this will get long, I’m gonna tag @kd-holloman, @oh-no-another-idea, @inkovert, @captain-kraken, and @ls-daydreams (no pressure!) to find hope, haven’t, here and hurt.
I’m gonna pull primarily from the first draft of The Monstrosity for these -- cuz yeah, this is happening ^_^ -- with maybe some from the second draft if any pop up in the couple scenes I’ve rewritten. Will any of you understand any of this? Nope. Do I care? Also nope! I’m having fun and that’s what matters. :D
Content warning: violence
No Olivia POV - D1 This last was added at Seth, who'd taken [Seagrave’s] moment of inattentiveness as a chance to lash out towards his face. Seagrave twitched his finger and Seth's body bowed, his back arching as his lips pulled back in a snarl, trying to contort himself in such a way as to release the pressure.
"Down," Seagrave instructed, calm and even.
Seth spat at him and immediately spasmed as Seagrave twitched his finger again.
"Down," he repeated.
Seth sank to his knees. Seagrave kept the pressure on until he'd tipped far enough forward he had to balance himself on his right hand; Olivia could see the second he relaxed the hold, some of the tension in Seth's frame loosening alongside it.
"Good." Seagrave's voice was silky and eerily calm, no sign of anger or hatred or even irritation in his tone. He leaned forward a little, closer to where Seth's head was bowed towards the ground, his shoulders twitching as he sucked in pained breaths.
"Now, Hopkins," Seagrave said evenly, "This... is called cheating."
He stepped forward, dropping the heel of his expensive boot onto Seth's unprotected right hand.
None Olivia POV - D1 "You'd wanna think real hard before doing this," [Seagrave] snarled, apparently just as unaware of the fact they were in the middle of a party as Vasco appeared to be.
"I already have," Vasco said smoothly.
Seagrave took a quick step towards him and suddenly Vasco’s knife was in his hand. Even without looking away from them, Olivia vaguely noticed the other partygoers draw back to give them space, though none of them made a move to intervene.
Seagrave laughed, the sound wild and delighted. "Oh, you wanna do this? You're really gonna step to me here? Fuck, Vasco, you're gonna pay for that."
Nothing Vasco POV - D2 Duke had a lighter in one hand and a switchblade in the other.
Vasco hesitated in the doorway, cold trails of water running down his neck from his damp hair. The lounge room was expansive, expensive, just like every inch of this egregious place, but he had eyes for nothing except the blackened metal in Duke’s hand, the wavering light of the flame tracing over the wicked tip.
He had no idea whether Duke was just amusing himself, or whether he planned to use the heated metal on himself, or on Vasco, but anticipation still dried his mouth.
Duke had to know he was there, but he didn’t raise his gaze, intent on his project. Vasco drifted forward a few steps. Moth to a flame.
Literal flame, or just Duke. It didn’t matter. He was drawn forward regardless.
Not Olivia POV - D1 Olivia swallowed again; it was Theo who answered, getting to his feet behind her.
"Because Syl's busy with Seth right now," he said, a valiant attempt at triumphant.
Seagrave cut his eyes to Theo, but didn't move away from Olivia. "You mean Vasco's alone?"
Olivia crossed her arms, squared her shoulders, using the movement to also lean away from Seagrave’s proximity. "I imagine not, party of this size. Again, why do you care? He's not a freaking child."
Seagrave looked back at her for a second, before he moved away a little, eyes skipping over the room again. Something caught his attention; he did a small double take, then continued his scan.
When his gaze returned to Olivia his face was no longer blank; it was incensed, fury unlike anything Olivia had ever seen raging in his eyes, his mouth twisted into something like a sneer.
"You," he said, slowly and carefully, "The two of you, have got to be the biggest fucking imbeciles I have ever had the misfortune to meet."
Olivia blinked at him. "I-- what?"

ASSUMPTIONS about Harry's love life in the press
So the Dazed interview included a mention of "his girfriend Olivia Wilde". EXCEPT look at this:
They mention how their relationship has been in the press daily, while in the same breath say that pics of them together are rare (??).
The only quote from Harry is
“I’ve always tried to compartmentalize my personal life and my working life”
which says basically that they're separate - and he's not gonna talk about it.
Which they confirm then, by saying that:
ASSUMPTIONS on his love life were RESTRICTED for the interview.
aka: his love life was blacklisted.
The only thing the magazine had to go off of was "paparazzi pics" which "suggest the two are very much in love". -> aka, they got nothing from Harry and just included this because it's been in the press daily - as they've just mentioned.
I imagine the interview went something like this:
Int: So, your relationship with Olivia Wilde has been heavily covered in the press over the last year. From the pictures I've seen you two seen very much in love...
Harry's team [interrupting]: we're not discussing assumptions about Harry's love life. Let's stick to his acting career and work life.
Harry: I’ve always tried to compartmentalize my personal life and my working life...
Int: Alright, so My Policeman....
All of this to say: Harry's love life is not in the press. Whatever we see is work.
And the phrasing of it: "assumptions on his love life". This was a very roundabout way to NOT confirm it and instead say that whatever we see are ASSUMPTIONS.

OC Tag Game
Was tagged by @ilikethenightblog
Let's get it
1. If you could go to one of your oc’s bachelor/bachelorette party, which would you choose (also: who would have the wildest one???)
So I would love to go to Madelyn’s (Life with Aly Series) because she’d be more tame. Just food, drinks, games, and a wholesome good time. However, her best friend Aly would totally disregards her wishes and make it wild to the point where Madelyn would anonymously call the police to get the people and the male strippers out.
2. What’s your favorite time of day to write?
I honestly prefer late night/wee hours of the morning because that’s where my house is the most quiet and free from distractions, but I’m able to get some time in the day time as well.
3. What’s your favourite ship in your WIP? (platonic or romantic, I get ya)
I have a lot so bare with me.
In Rose of Wakanda, my OTP is T’Rose (T’Challa/Rose), but it will be a while before they officially get together. My BroTP (even though I’m still developing it) is Rose & Weza because they’re both the sisters they always wanted. My other BroTP is Weza & Shuri, they’re bonded by being the same age, and Weza is always ready to test out Shuri’s inventions.
In the BabysisterReader AU, the main BroTP is Nakia & BSR becuase Nakia help finished raising BSR after their mother died. Everkia (Evertt/Nakia) and BSR kind of finds ways to push them together. T’Challa/Naomi just a king and his wife Naomi (OC).
In Aunt Olivia, the main BroTP is Marissa & Olivia (her aunt). The OTP is Olivia/Scott (a man she meets at a wedding she caters).
In Life with Aly, the main BroTP is Madelyn & Alysen. The OTPs Alysen/Sid (her husband she’s giving the silent treatment too) and Madelyn/Professor Hayes.
4. How far are you into your WIP?
For ROW, I’m not that far in, but I’m still planning some chapters.
For BSR AU, I have a ficlet out, working on another ficlet, and a chapter story.
For Aunt Olivia, I’m still in the planning stages.
For LWA, still int he planning stages, but I have half of a oneshot out.
5. If you were stuck in a broken elevator for twelve hours, which oc would you choose to be stuck in there with you? (note: you have to be in there for the twelve hours!!! no houdini escape!!!)
All of them, honestly. Rose, Weza, Naomi, and BSR might freak out because their kimoyo beads won’t work, so they can't contact the Black Panther to save them, but they’ll relax after a while and Queen Naomi might even try to make it a bonding thing amongst strangers. Me, Marissa and Olivia would probably just chill and play along. But Aly would be the only one to play Captain Obvious and freak out, especially because she’s slightly claustrophobic, and she’ll be like, “this is no time for games, we’re stuck in an elevator.” Madelyn might try to calm her down, but eventually they get into a petty argument that brings up things from high school. After a while, the energy shift may change and Aly becomes the calm one while Weza freaks out a bit, but Rose would be able to calm her down., and Madelyn starts a chorus of “99 bottles of milk on the wall” to pass the time. And thankfully, Madelyn is the avid snack carrier, so at least they wouldn’t go hungry. Those twelve hours would fly by in a breeze.
6. What’s your favourite colour? (generic, I know)
Red and Black
7. Where would one of your oc’s propose to the other? (if this question isn’t up your alley, replace “propose to” with “surprise attack hug”)
In LIW, it is mentioned that Sd and Aly were in the backseat of his car, making out on prom night and they both decided thatt hey loved each other and there was no need to wait for them to get married. They eloped that night.
8. Which oc is most like you?
Madelyn. We both live at home (she moves out eventually) and we both work dead-end jobs. We both sew, but she knits and crochets as well.
9. Do you prefer writing with ambient noise, music (if so, with or without lyrics), or in silence?
Yes. Ambient noise/music helps me focus and put me in the mindset of my setting. I actually wrote a piece while listening to a train platform setting.
10. If you suddenly got the power of teleportation, where in the world would you go first?
Disney World (pass security and ticketing of course
I’m tagging @queen-of-the-jabari and @marvelheaux. I want them OC infos like yesterday.
