Instrumentos de su paz.

Lecturas del día (19abr-2020): Hch 2, 42-47 / Sal 118[117], 2-4.13-15ab.22-24 (R. cf. 1) / 1P 1, 3-9 / Jn 20, 19-31.

El regalo más grande que puede hacerte el Señor, ¡es concederte su Paz!. Mi corazón es franciscano, y durante toda mi etapa escolar, los frayles nos hacían formar al inicio de la jornada ¡a todos!, desde preescolar hasta último grado de secundaria.

Cada mañana, antes de pasar ordenadamente a nuestros salones de clases, rezábamos al unísono el Padre Nuestro, el Ave María y la Oración por la Paz de nuestro patrono San Francisco, ¡y tenía que escucharse muy fuerte!; Lo recuerdo como si fuese ayer y mi corazón se llena de una inmensa alegría.

Recuerdo con mucho cariño a nuestro rector Fray Joaquín; era muy estricto en todo, al punto que, que cada mañana, se paraba en la entrada del colegio a recibirnos, y al que estuviese mal peinado, con la camisa por fuera, los zapatos sucios o cualquier expresión de mala presentación personal, le daba un pandeyucazo (le llamábamos pan de yuca al cordón blanco de su habito franciscano). La misma suerte corría quien tuviera la osadía de acercarse al órgano que estaba en el templo. ¡Nos inculco disciplina! y la disciplina, ¡Es parte del amor!

Esa constancia que día a día nos inculcaron nuestros queridos frayles franciscanos, hacen que hoy, después de tantos años, retumben en mi corazón los ecos de las voces de mis compañeros de colegio rezando a viva voz la oración por la paz cada mañana, y veo el fiel reflejo de esa perseverancia con que esa primera comunidad cristiana «se mantenían constantes en la enseñanza de los apóstoles, en la comunión, en la fracción del pan y en las oraciones.» (Hch 2, 42), «y con un mismo espíritu, […] con alegría y sencillez de corazón.» (Hch 2, 46).

«Señor, ¡hazme un instrumento de tu paz!» era nuestra oración diaria, y hoy, la alegría de tener a un Cristo resucitado ha traído a mi corazón esos hermosos recuerdos y lo mejor, después de tantos años, me ha mostrado que para eso nos ha llamado desde niños, ¡a ser instrumentos de su paz!, no la paz como la concibe el mundo, sino la paz del Señor.

Hoy es el mismo Cristo resucitado quien llega a nuestros corazones y nos dice «La paz con vosotros» (Jn 20, 19); aun a pesar de estar encerrados a causa de la pandemia, aun en medio de nuestros miedos, de nuestros temores por la situación actual, es el mismo Jesús quien hace de ti un instrumento de su paz; es el mismo Jesús quien hoy sopla sobre ti el Espíritu Santo para que donde quiera que haya odio, lleves tu su amor, su misericordia y perdón; para que donde haya dudas, seas tú portador de la fe; donde haya desesperación, lleves en su nombre palabras de esperanza; donde haya oscuridad, seas tu portador de su luz y donde haya tristeza, con solo una sonrisa impregnada de su amor, ¡lleves tú la alegría!.

Es el mismo Jesús quien hoy te dice que seas instrumento de su paz y lleves su consuelo, su comprensión, ¡su amor a toda la creación! sin esperar nada a cambio, solo por amor a su nombre, por llevar el evangelio, la buena nueva de la salvación.

Que hoy el Señor te conceda la gracia de vaciarte completamente de ti, que resucite en tu corazón para que cada día sea más de Él en ti; que su alegría inunde todo tu ser y haga de ti ¡Fiel instrumento de su paz!. «La paz con vosotros» (Jn 20, 19)
