yknow as a kpop fan i sometimes stare at the amount of album variations people complain about in western music and laugh because it'll never be as hyper consumeristic as the vultures that are kpop companies
#yes i do think the amount of ttpd albums are a bit much#but ive seen masses of kpop albums in the trash because people only bought them for pocas or to get to do a fancall#i would honestly rather multiple versions with different bonus tracks because at least the people buying it are likely to use it#instead of the multiple versions that are functionally fucking useless from a music standpoint l#and idk i do think western artists are doing too much i just#it seems so.... nothing#compared to how frustrating kpop companies arr
