When you remove toxic from your life or people who don't bring you up you make room for better quality friends. That saying has definitely shown to be so true because the beginning of this year and end of last year I met such incredible people. Life is too short to deal with nonsensical people. I never really check @instatrackapp so I decided to check it today just to see the activity for future posts and not surprisingly the same two people went down every single post they ever liked just to unlike. Wow! I certainly hope people aren't wasting that much time. All you have to do is unfollow so you don't see their feed and move on. Just made me realize I did the right thing. As #timferris puts it in his #fourhourworkweek pick friends that lift you up not pull you down. Having similar values has certainly increased happiness level. Cutting out some of the closest people was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. But when you're on the journey to loving yourself it's a must! And a major issue many suffer with. I struggled with that most of my life growing up with a guilt complex. Like Debbie Millman guest starred on Tim's most recent podcast she spoke about how decisions are only difficult when you are faced with it, but once you've made it, it's easy. Wise words. I had an amazing conversation with a dear friend of mind earlier in the week and he cut out 100 friends. I thought wow! Now that's no easy task. I didn't believe this before, but you really are the closest five people you spend the most time with. So choose wisely. Ever since I've removed toxic people I've been able to attract better people and many people who exited my life and are now back in told me they kept their distance because of the people I hung out with.
