I'm used to seeing people trying to pass obviously fake images as real on Instagram.

But how does this even happen

I have an important tip that I have yet to see someone else share.

So as a pretty small percentage of you guys are aware, nearly all the th1n5p0 you see on here is edited. That’s just a fact. No one with a disorder this competitive is gonna be uploading raw, unedited pics/videos. Not to mention most of them have unnervingly cartoonish proportions.

If you want to see actual pictures of what extreme WL actually looks like, Google search is the way to go. “Severely vnd3rw31ght people” (uncensored ofc) will usually do the trick.

Normally I wouldn’t post something like this, I don’t post th1n5p0 because 99% of it is fake (the worst offender being pinterest). I want to share this with you guys because too many of you unknowingly have wildly unrealistic ideas of what your body is gonna look like after WL.

I’m not trying to patronize anyone, I know some of you are aware it’s fake and don’t care. I’m just letting you know because I also fell victim to the mindset that my waist should be the size of my head, and I had a “wide ribcage” that prevented my torso from being as narrow as my thighs. These proportions would be absolutely horrific in real life. Your brain is just so used to seeing it on your phone, it makes it seem normal.

That’s pretty much it, I just wanted to share this way to get ACTUAL th1n5p0, not some heavily filtered, contorted image of a “body” you see on Pinterest. If any of you are interested in learning a little more about this, there’s a great group on Reddit called r/instagramreality. It’s INCREDIBLY eye opening, this shit is SO prevalent.

I hope whoever sees this doesn’t get discouraged by it, but maybe feels a little better about their body.
