Hi again!!! I am back with a pretty big update :3

I ended up sticking pretty close to the same build, but using Great Stars from time to time, and swapping from icon shield to holy ground for Elden beast! Thank you so much for inspiring me to go on this journey, I actually REALLY enjoyed this challenge. It made me engage with the game a LOT more than my first two runs, making sure my build was optimized and taking every edge I could (buffing with crab which by now is Noska's favorite food, Weapon greases, swapping weapons and talismans mid-fights, keeping aggro on to ensure I could hit staggers) as well as make me have to play a mix of really conservative (minimizing greedy hits) but also very aggro and taking every opportunity I could to fit in an attack.

ALSO I was using spirit summons up until after Renalla, but I saw a few of your posts saying you were proud of people who did fights without them, so I held off whenever I could hehe. I called in Perfumer Tricia for the uplifting aromatic and the distraction every once in a while when my back was against the wall, but I avoided it for all of the mainline bosses Maliketh definitely gave me the most trouble with a whopping 132 tries (puppy was FAST), with Fire giant (60-70 or so) and Radagon/EB following behind (53). But for each one, by the time I beat them I felt like I could see their attacks coming a mile away and beat them in pretty solid control. I am a persistent little warrior >:3 Thanks again for the inspiration, the good advice, and the correct opinions on how hot Malenia is <3. The Haligtree is my stretch goal, and if I can beat Malenia, I will let you know :)

THIS. IS. WILD. You actually did it, that's the coolest shit ever, I'm so proud of you! I'm so glad you got to enjoy the game more in-depth. Trust me when I say this you are easily in the top 15% or Elden ring players when it comes to being good at the game.

Malenia is tough without heals but you can do it. She will take a while learning her patterns and sometimes it'll feel impossible but that's where you just gotta push forward and eventually it will click I promise.

As for spirit summons, if you want a summon that doesn't play the game for you but is useful, try stromhawk Deenh. He gives you a buff upon spawning, rarely takes aggro but does nice damage. Very squishy but hard to hit. And it's badass to have a bird companion in my opinion. I still think it's better to not use summons but if you have to, use Deenh!
