✨THE COURAGE TO CHANGE. It’s my birthday eve today and I was looking at the changes that have taken place in my life internally and externally within the 365 days between my birthday last year and today. This picture was taken on June 19th, 2020 and I see little to no changes between the woman I was and the woman I am now externally, which is a great thing. But internally, there has been a lot of changes. I have grown intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. I have fought many battles and inner demons, cried, laughed, doubted myself and felt disappointed and discouraged. I have had to reinvent myself, stay true to what I believed in, open my heart to love deeply again and felt the greatest joy of doing what I now know I was born to do. Change doesn’t always come easy and sometimes the cost might seem to heavy a price to pay. Looking back to June 19th 2020 and now, I can say firmly that one thing has not changed. And that is the fact that I know that God loves me, has been helping me all the way and has kept me. And for that I am deeply grateful. I am thankful for the last 365 days and I am looking forward to more exceptional things and people that will be part of my next 365 days as i journey to my NEXT. I am open and expectant for great things to come my way today and in the upcoming month. It has been a tough week for me and I am still full of faith and belief that this month of November will end on a very high note. Things will come to shake you and mess up your plans but refuse to give in and hold on to your G.O.L.D (God Ordained Legacy and Dreams). Whatever dreams and visions God gives to us, He always makes provision for. As humans, we can’t help but worry or fret over things but God is FOREVER STABLE AND ABLE. Valuing time is a big struggle for many because we are most time deluded to think that we are in control. Being present and in the moment means different things to different people but all struggle with VALUING TIME. Time Management is a myth because we are not in charge of time. We can not control it, we cannot change but WE CAN PREDICT IT. The way time works is predictable but how we use it is not. Learn to value the time you have now and do what you can NOW because you cannot predict what will happen in the next few hours. Personally, I have had days where things began beautifully with laughter and joy and turned into a day of pain, disappointments and displacement all in a matter of hours. I couldn’t predict the turn of events so I have since learn to value time as a creative building her legacy. If you can read this message, tell yourself “I WILL VALUE TIME”. Your purpose is yours. Don’t allow anyone to downplay or discourage you from living it. Many with good intentions will try to persuade you to do something else with your life because they don’t understand your dream or passion or purpose. You have to learn to live with that and still move forward in doing what you believe in. When I read my Bible, I get super encouraged from the lives of Noah, Joseph and Moses. The biggest inspiration of all is the life of Jesus. Many ridiculed Him yet He was the real deal and perfect in every way. Any one who tells you that the path to achieving your purpose and fulfilling destiny is going to be easy is telling you a lie. In fact I call it a ROSE BUSH JOURNEY. Beautiful and fragrant to behold and smell but prickly and uncomfortable to hold on to. Being uncomfortable is normal because that means you are willing to go beyond what is safe and normal for you. Focus on results than roadblocks and before you know it, the sweet smell and taste of success will make those same people that doubted or discouraged you change their tune. I picked up this limited edition MAC Fix+ in Goldlite from Truworths in Musgrave Centre. I’ve been spraying this on my face since yesterday to get the full experience. This claims to be a soothing moisture mist that refreshes the skin and finishes makeup. On using the product a number of times, here are my thoughts: 1) The illuminated look with the gold reflects in the Fix+ solution looks great but doesn’t really give you a glow. 2) The product sprays on evenly and is a fine mist. We don’t expect anything less from MAC. 3) The product makes my skin feel tight and a bit uncomfortable and I don’t experience the moisturizing effect. 4) The spray does finish makeup well and it looks flawless all day! 5) If you spray this over your highlighter, your glow goes from zero to outer space in 3 seconds flat! That’s something that I don’t think the regular Fix+ does. 6) I do enjoy the glam effect so I will continually to use it. 7) Would I buy it again? I would because I love sparkle 🙈 .
