Etho has been out of spoons for months now. He has no energy to do anything at all outside of working (because he has to) or eating (because he has to) or showering (because he has to) or using the bathroom (because he has to). He wants to hang out with his friends, he yearns for their conversation and bickering and their energetic bits but he can't. He just rests and rests and rests, waiting for the day he has inspiration and strength again.
He's so sick of being weak, of being tired. There's no joy in his endless napping, he just can't do anything else.
Cleo leaves food in his fridge and takes his trash out and refills his water bottle so he can take his meds at night.
Bdubs comes in every other day to brush his hair and brings him a bucket so he can brush his teeth.
The worst thing is that he gets up every morning, he works on his projects, he talks to people, he's normal, he's healthy. But then the moment he can relax he collapses and can't get up again. He uses all his energy and he can't go on. Which doesn't make any sense because why can't he have energy for the things he wants?
He's just...so tired.
Xisuma catches him while he's out and about, doing things. Says, "hey, you've been working too hard and it's making you use all your free time to catch up on rest." He takes Etho to a town an hour away from work, from everything. "This is my parents summer home, they won't be back for like, nine months. So it's yours for now, utilities n' stuff are paid so don't worry about that."
Then he offers to leave. Says that he'll stay close-ish to bring Etho food and all, but he offers to give Etho as much alone time as he could ever want.
"I know you like your own company better than anyone else's and I prefer to recoup by myself too so it's no worries."
"no uh, actually. If you would stay..that'd be preferable I think."
For the first days Etho sleeps and sleeps and sleeps, he wakes up, eats and uses the bathroom and then he sleeps again.
Then he migrates to the couch to listen to Xisuma knit or play guitar, then he's breaking out his noise cancelling headphones so he can watch X play doom until the early morning sunrise. Then he's asking to help with dinner, something that resets his progress a little bit he's quicker to bounce back.
Xisuma takes him for a little walk one week. Then two little walks, then they stop in at a coffee shop, then Etho sits in the shopping cart reading out the list. Their friends start to visit, Bdubs and Beef and Doc come for a night of super smash bros and Mario kart, Cleo comes over and plays some Zelda breath of the wild, zedaph tango skizz and impulse bring a board game he's never heard of before. Etho even gets to gossip in Japanese with Grian and Joel about everyone he's seen living here, like the dog walker who always has far too many dogs.
Then Xisuma miscalculates how long it will take a comforter to dry and asks to share Etho's space for a night. Which they do. Etho wakes with X's legs under his own because apparently Xisuma likes to rotate 90 degrees in his sleep.
Xisuma will never live it down, even as they continue to sleep side by side.
By the time Etho is yearning for something to do they've started cuddling, and by the time Xisuma deems him healthy enough to go back to work they're kissing a little.
Work is easier when he returns, he works four days a week instead of six. He has a boyfriend who leaves space for him to join in making dinner or going on little walks or whatever but never pressures him. He has extra energy to do things he enjoys.
He's not perfect, he still naps every day, still gets overwhelmed. But it's better.
He's doing better.
-carrie
He thought he'd find it frustrating to be cared for, like it's something he doesn't deserve. But, instead, it's a weight off his shoulders. It's not just him anymore. Xisuma is looking out for him as well, gently pulling Etho away when he's burning out again. His friends are there as well.
Etho isn't perfect. But he's got people there to stop him reaching so low again.

Brief Valentine’s Day Plans with Heartsteel
Inspiration: Hahahaha I’m so very single (I’m really fine with that. I gotta focus on myself at the moment) but I love LOVE so you all get this. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Champions: Heartsteel
Genre: Headcanon
Type: Fluff. *small sigh* I restrained myself.
Gender: Gender Neutral Reader!
TW: Swearing because I swear. Otherwise it’s fluffy time! ☺️
Tumblr media
Aphelios
I can’t see Phel doing anything super out there or dramatic. That just doesn’t seem like him. But you know what I can see him doing?
Getting your fav takeout and throwing a cute little couples game night for the two of you. Cards, board games, video games, etc. Music he made in the background to set the fun vibe.
I have to think Aphelios is a gamer. Like I’d be so shocked if he wasn’t. Besides card and board games I’m thinking he’s both a pc and console gamer and he’s a big Nintendo guy.
He loves Smash Bros, Mario Kart, or Splatoon, and you two are working through Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom together. And while Phel’s super competitive in multiplayer games, he’s been teaching you tricks! (You’re the only one he’ll teach. Everyone else can just deal.)
It’d just be a lovely night. Hanging with your favorite person and having a great time doing something you enjoy together. Frankly those are some of my very favorite types of dates.
Ezreal
Very fun and very sweet. Heart fluttering. That’s what Valentine’s Day with Heartsteel Ezreal would be like.
I’m imagining a mix of like classic romantic gestures with some fun “young love” type vibes. Like he’s getting you flowers and taking you out to a nice dinner….
And then afterwards both of you go to an arcade/arcade bar and just have a fucking blast together. God help you when you try and take Ez on in air hockey or ski ball though. His AIM. Or in DDR? He’ll absolutely distract you so you don’t beat his score. (Distract him back!!)
But it’s fine because all those tickets he’s winning, he’s spending on you. Or on stuff that both of you can use. Like matching plushies or fidget toys. (So cute oml.)
Just an day/evening of fun moments, sweet kisses, and that feeling of young love, even if you’ve been with Ezreal for years.
Kayn
You might think Heartsteel’s resident bad boy is not very romantic. But, I truly believe Kayn can be, just in his own way of course! I don’t think super sappy romantic gestures are his thing. But having experiences with you is something he treasures.
I can imagine him picking you up and taking you somewhere far outside the city at night. A surprise location in the country. Somewhere quiet and peaceful.
And what does Kayn have planned? Well he packed pillows, blankets, your favorite drinks, and…a picnic basket! He’s planned a surprise picnic under the stars!
I feel like Kayn is really great to have deep conversations with, but you have to be someone special to have such talks with him. Him being so vulnerable indicates the extremely deep level of trust he has with and love he has for you.
Enjoy star gazing, cuddling, and chatting the night away with your person. What a super sweet way to get even closer to each other, no matter how long you’ve been with him.
K’Sante
Oh this would be an excellent Valentine’s Day with those classical romance vibes. K’Sante is fully about to wine and dine you, baby. Enjoy that shit. You’re getting spoiled like you absolutely deserve.
Buys/makes you a whole new outfit because you deserve it. If he doesn’t make you a full outfit he at least helps make part of it. Like accessories or something.
Reservation at one of the nicest restaurants in the city. K’Sante always thinks ahead and made it months in advance. (See why he’s one of the leaders of HS?)
Afterwards driving to an overlook and just watching the lights and talking about anything and everything. Moments filled with soft words and even softer kisses.
Just the classic movie-esque romantic night and I’m all for it (lmao I’m such a romantic). K’Sante definitely knows how to make your heart beat faster.
Sett
(Lord help me I gotta stop myself from going off the rails but he’d be so damn good at this.)
You want romance? By fucking god Sett’s going to give you ROMANCE, darling. He’s a gentleman.
He’s making a full meal from scratch (it’s your favorite meal of his that he makes), and also setting the ambiance. Table set, candles, lights low, flowers/other presents he knows you’ll like. The whole nine yards.
Sett’s not letting you lift a finger either. The most he’ll let you do is help pre-rinse some of the dishes after dinner. He’s in full Prince Charming mode and it’s excellent.
You thought the night ended at dinner? Wrong. Bubble bath with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Fluffy bath robes. Doing each others skin care. All the sweet shit.
And afterwards? Well just be patient and see where the night takes you. 😉 But overall what a lovely and romantic night with Sett, your gentleman of a partner. (I’m swooning just thinking about it.)
Yone
Your love/relationship with Yone isn’t loud or bombastic. It’s steady and unwavering. And that vibe is how Valentine’s Day is for the two of you.
He picks you up and brings you to his studio where he’s spiffed it up! Your favorite flowers in a vase. Both of your favorite take out (the place he took you on your first date) on a table w/ candles.
Yone’s got music playing softly in the background (a playlist he made just for you for Valentine’s Day of course). It’s every single song that makes him think of you. (When you ask him out of curiosity how long the playlist is, your ever-stoic partner turns a little pink as he mumbles, “o-over 4 hours….”)
During the slow songs Yone will even dance with you a little because he loves how it makes you smile. While dancing, he’ll rest his chin on your head if you’re short enough. And once you’re done dancing, you two can cuddle on the couch in his studio and do/talk about whatever.
It’s not over the top. It’s not grand. But it’s an intimate and personal night with the love of your life and truly nothing can be better than that.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Whether you’re a single pringle like myself or you are celebrating Valentine’s Day with someone, I hope your day is filled with love! 💙🥰

Mario Kart headcanons (modern au ig)
The Curtis Kart tournaments are legendary. They all get together once a month for a full-on competition with brackets and eliminations, but they will also just play for fun whenever they want.
Darry would be stupidly competitive, but really bad. My guy would be sweating over this children's game, but don't mention it to him. Two-Bit made fun of him once and instantly regretted it. He'd probably main King Boo because "he looks cool". From there he'd probably just try to optimize his build with rollers wheels, the biddy buggy, and paper glider. (i literally just googled peak build for king boo). He has memorized every shortcut in every map and all of the optimal routes. But even though he tries very hard, he still loses. He doesn't have a track preference, but he hates Baby Park with a passion.
Soda. Soda is THE MOST annoying person you could ever play with. He doesn't care about winning. He doesn't care about anything but making everyone else suffer. He constantly shit talks everyone, especially Darry. He doesn't really care about his character or kart, he just goes with whatever he thinks is funniest. He likes to play as any of the babies because he "is baby". He likes the prancer kart, wild wiggler, or streetle, because he finds them funny. Same thing with wheels (cushion, button, or sponge) and gliders (waddle wing or flower glider). It's just whatever Soda finds funny in the moment. He likes to pick the Baby Park track purely because everyone else hates it. (thank you to my cousins N and V for giving me inspiration, please stop picking baby park)
Pony has fun. He definitely doesn't take it as seriously as Darry, but he does try. He's a really big fan of the Zelda games, so he bases his whole build around it. Link, with the master cycle zero, ancient tires, and the paraglider. He's not a tryhard, but he wins maybe every 1 out of 5 games. He doesn't have a track preference.
Johnny is insanely good at Mario Kart. He goes completely silent while playing, with his eyes locked onto the screen. Sometimes the people who aren't playing will try to make him crack up, or stack things on top of him. He's kinda like those royal soldiers. Nothing breaks his concentration. With his build, he's similar to Pony. Johnny really likes the animal crossing games, so he goes full theme. Isabelle, with the isabelle scooter, leaf tires, and the paper glider. He'll win maybe 3 out of 5 games and is pretty much the best player.
Sometimes Soda, Pony, and Johnny make a deal to go full troll. They play as Iggy, Lemmy, and Larry respectively, with the koopa clown car, hot monster tires, and wario wing glider. Darry absolutely despises whenever they do this and refers to them as "the three fucksketeers".
Those four are the ones who mainly play, but sometimes the others join.
Two-Bit has the same strategy as Soda, meaning there is no strategy. If he's playing, Soda and Pony will rush to pick shyguy because it pisses off Two-Bit. He will then refuse to play because "shyguy is my guy. Shyguy is MY GUY." and eventually they give up and let him pick shyguy.
Cherry is actually pretty good, probably as good as Pony. She doesn't have any preferences in regard to anything, and just picks whatever she thinks is cool that day.
Dally refuses to play because "it's a game for children. Why would I play a game for children?" The one time he did play, he lost so bad that he stormed out of the house and was missing for two hours.
Steve will not play if Pony is playing. Pony will not play is Steve is playing. Their beef runs so deep that they don't need to say anything. They just hate each other that much. Because of this, Steve doesn't really play.
also im so sorry for like spam liking/reblogging ur posts
These were amazing and canon!! I love how detailed everything wasss <3 (and Steve and Pony being such haters of each other they can't play Mario Kart together??? And Dally being a sore loser??? CANON CANON CANON)
and how dare u like my posts 😡(jk jk I love to see ppl engaging with my yapping abt the outsiders ❤️❤️❤️ ty for enjoying the blog!!)

A silly idea I had a while back.
Hear me out. If Mario Kart existed in CRK, here's what I think the Beasts would have as their mains. (Except for Mystic Flour, obviously.)
Shadow Milk - Lemmy or King Boo (depending on how your perspective works; also, totally not partially giving him the favorite treatment)
Burning Spice - Dry Bowser
Eternal Sugar (if she's in the mood)- Rosalina
Silent Salt (same boat as Eternal Sugar) - Shy Guy
This idea was mainly inspired by one of my favorite Cookie Run fan-artists depicting all the Beasts being enthusiastic about going after their Ancient Counterparts. (here) Plus, you know me, you know that I'm an intense Mario fan; you know that my imagination runs wild when it comes to my interests. You're welcome. :)

Do you game? I recently got a switch and gaming computer but I'm not sure what games to pick up
I do! I actually just lucked into a Playstation 5 so I'm really excited to see what games are available for that, but here are some of my favorites that are available on Switch or on PC:
Switch:
I think a lot of these you can also find on PC, but I played them first as Switch games, so that's why they're on this list:
Starting out with the classics, all of the Mario games are super fun and Switch exclusive. Super Mario Odyssey is my favorite of the Mario platformers, Paper Mario: The Origami King is a great RPG/puzzle game, and Luigi's Mansion 3 is a super fun action/adventure game. If you want to play with other people, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros, and Super Mario Party are great.
Another group of classics are any of the Zelda games. These are action-adventure games where you play as Link, a hero who's trying to save Princess Zelda and prevent the world from being destroyed. I would start with Breath of the Wild, which is widely considered to be one of the best video games of all time.
If you like The Sims or other social simulation games like that, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley are both super fun and you can sink a ton of time into them. In this same vein, I also really enjoyed Wylde Flowers, which has a little bit more of a story than other social simulation games.
If you want something that's just kind of unhinged, We ♥ Katamari and Katamari Damacy Reroll are puzzle-action games where you play as a little alien Prince who has to roll up objects on earth to try and impress his father, The King of All Cosmos. The Katamari franchise also has the greatest soundtrack of any game I've ever played.
If you want to be the most frustrated you've ever been in your entire life, Cuphead is a run and gun game drawn in a really cool 1930s style (it's really fun, I swear).
Okami is a action-adventure game where you play as Amaterasu, a wolf who uses the power of the Celestial Gods in order to save the world. The game is done in a woodcut, watercolor style, meant to look like Japanese ink-illustration, and it's just so beautiful.
My personal favorite game franchise has always been Kingdom Hearts. These games are hack and slash action RPGs where characters from the Final Fantasy Franchise team up with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy from the Disney Animation Franchise to go to different worlds from Disney movies so that they can prevent darkness from consuming the universe (multiverse?). This seems unhinged, and that's because it is. 10/10. As a bonus, I think there's a free trial for the Switch version so you can see if you like it before you buy.
Most recently, I've been playing Disco Elysium, which is a role playing game where you're an amnesiac detective trying to solve a murder mystery. This is also considered to be one of the greatest video games ever made, but I haven't finished it yet, so I'm tentatively recommending it.
Some other games that I've really liked but that are maybe a little less accessible are Chinatown Detective Agency, The Stanley Parable, Return of the Obra Dinn, and Gris.
PC Games:
I'm actually not a PC gamer, but I do have a Playstation, and there's quite a bit of overlap in terms of where games get released, so here are some of my recommendations that you can find on PC.
Inside and Limbo, both puzzle-platformer games where you explore a surreal and monochromatic world. They're really beautiful and tense and are considered some of the greatest video games of all time.
If you want something in a similar vein but not as dark and tense, I really love Planet of Lana. It's a puzzle-platformer, but its design style is inspired by Studio Ghibli, and it has a really nice story about a girl trying to rescue her sister from hostile alien machines that have taken over her world.
For something really beautiful and relaxing, I love Journey, which is a indie adventure game where you are trying to reach a mountain in the distance. What's cool about this game is that even though you can't speak with other players, the game fosters an emotional connection between players. It was designed to evoke a sense of smallness and wonder in the player, and I think it does that really well.
If you want to play a game that - and this is true - sent me into an emotional tailspin for several weeks, Wattam is a puzzle-platformer where you play as the Mayor of a planet that's empty. As the game goes on, you unlock and befriend other inhabitants of the world, including trees, flowers, rocks, toilets, poop, and mouths by holding hands, uncovering secrets, playing minigames, and solving puzzles. It's designed to be a game that "makes people notice how our ordinary life is great".
Life is Strange is an episodic adventure game where you play as Max, a high school student in the Pacific Northwest who can turn back time. The choices that you make change how the narrative goes. Some people find this game kind of cringey and the ending is... kind of disturbing, so fair warning, but I think it's a really well-made game.
I'm sure there are others that I've loved, but these are the ones that come to mind. I'll add to this list if I think of more. Happy gaming! Let me know what you think if you end up trying any of these.

So there's a TTRPG work in progress meme going around and I've been tagged by @theresattrpgforthat and I love talking about my ideas! With the release of Giant of Light, I've got a few going, I'll borrow the cooking metaphor @bleongambetta came up with:
Front Burner (actively in progress, I know what I want the game to be, spend some time in the document at least once a week):
-Free Lunch for Magic Users
Fantasy post-post-apocalypse in rural New England. Players are fast talking conmen with a teaspoon of magical talent, inspiration from Fallout and Discworld.
-4AM in Santa Carla
Lost Boys game where you're one of the background vampires. Hopefully a one-page game.
-Hero of Tomorrow
Superman hack of GoL.
Back Burner (I think about it often, I make notes when I have an epiphany, but major mechanics are still open):
-Demon Castle Dracula
My tribute to Castlevania; a mapping/exploration game using a Tarot deck.
-Sentai Squads (title subject to change)
A competitive game based on Super Sentai/Power Rangers. Each player manages a team that's trying to be the most popular team while also saving the day.
-V/H/Essence
Be a movie monster! A thesis on Queerness and mental illness in modern America, also a bit of a World of Darkness deconstruction.
-Pegwarmers
Metafictional game about The Tranformers (or toylines in general); fight to make sure that you have enough fans that you're in the next reboot of the franchise!
-Journey to the Quest
Optimistic Shonen Jump adventure! Play as a powerful child overthrowing oppressive regimes with a card game battle system. Theoretically first in a trilogy.
Still on the Prep Station (I have an idea here, but probably one or two mechanics at most, several don't even have titles):
-plUnderworlds
GM-less existential adventure game about being the last survivor of a dead universe.
-Cooking Competition Game
Mario Kart meets Cutthroat Kitchen. Improvise a dish and mess with your opponents.
-Demonbrain
Anime combat game about having a spiritual parasite. Less JoJo's, more Venom if the symbiote was looking to escape.
-Wasted
"Hi, I'm Ishida Mitsunari and welcome to Jackass!" Time travellers are stuck in a deathless purgatory dimension where the odds no longer make sense.
-Fighting Game Game
Built to replicate my favorite mechanics from fighting games and in service to the wild, expansive lore of the best fighters.
13! Seems fine. I'm not tagging anyone else to do this, because everyone I know well enough in TTRPGs has either done it or has said they're trying to step back from new game design. But I'll answer basically any questions about any of these!

fight club owner here askin some of ur favorite non-DR games
current resident brainworms on my end are banjo-kazooie, ratchet&clank, and yakuza/rgg. but i like a lot of games in general!!!
Nice nice! I've been very interested in Yakuza, and I put a few hours into Banjo-Kazooie on Switch Virtual Console before getting stuck T_T
Yup, this needs a readmore
The Super Smash Bros series must be my fave. Growing up, I primarily played video games with my siblings and friends, and no multiplayer experience could top beating the tar out of each other as our fave video game characters. I've owned every game in the series and my main in Ultimate is Bowser. It's also the closest I've ever been to joining a fandom - not nearly to the same extent as DR, though I did draw stuff about the game as a kid, nearly embarked on a massive fanfic project as a college student, and checked the Smash Bros Dojo every day for Brawl, Sm4sh, and Ultimate.
Super Mario 64 is the first video game I ever played, so it'll always hold a special place in my heart. It helps that the game is so goddamn fun. Even when I'm not doing the missions, it's nice just to vibe in these wonderfully designed environments, check out some of the secrets, play with the glitches, just be in the game. Just last year, my siblings and I marathoned the game, getting 70 stars and beating the final boss in just a few seconds shy of four hours.
The game that's inspired me to look past Nintendo and its usual third parties is Sayonara Wild Hearts, which I just beat a few days ago. A rhythm game that incorporates so many video game genres and playstyles into a breathtakingly original and exhilarating experience. You could easily beat the game in a couple hours, or you can replay every level for gold ranks and clean runs, or you can just swim through the courses and take in the fantastic atmosphere and gorgeous visuals and especially the start-to-finish brilliant pop soundtrack. Begin Again is the best song I've heard in many a moon. Get it. You won't regret it.
Various other faves include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Undertale, Balloon Fight, Super Mario Galaxy, Rock Band 3, and Mario Kart 64

I think I'm over making angst for now and with the Twi rot I thought it ok to send some about mostly sky with a mention of wild~
just to start, I've been greatly inspired after playing mario kart with friends, I don't know if it's been brought up before and I've missed it or not but do the links remember guide in mario kart?
at least wild and the other link who I've always thought as sky would be able to recognise player from that right?
now I for one am a very competitive and sweary player especially against friends which is a 180 from how I play Loz games (helps I can actually play pretty decent ^^) and since I always play as sky I think he would react to how different the guide would be when he remembers also the amount of times I have gushed over how sweet and happy he looks when he does a trick or wins isn't countable (he's just so soft and smiley I can't help it)
also those two would have an easier time understanding players world since there are tracks set in major cities, if player is from - say London- those two know what it's like and know more about modern stuff cause of that and when yandere could and I reckon would use that to their advantage just a little "oh if you absolutely don't want to stay in hyrule I would be able to adapt to your world more easily and be less of a burden :) justletmestaywithyou pleasepleaseplease" followed with jealous/confused looks from the others

(also I'm doing good thanks o((*^▽^*))o , alevels can just be a little exhausting T^T)
Okay, my idea with the Links from the games like Mario Kart, Smash, etc. They're entirely different people but yet the same at the same time? Like, cntrl copy paste the Chain member them paste them into the other game but with all the info from that game too-
So to add to the chaos is that they would most likely meet themself.
Anyway, honestly, the boys probably don't flinch around Player's swears compared to others is because they heard Player sing every damn swear in the curse alphabet and they're just about used to it, even if it's subconscious.
I think they would be able to recognise Player straight away as they're technically breaking rhe fourth wall constantly so why wouldn't they recognise Player?
Also FUCK A LEVELS ALL MY HOMIES HATE A LEVELS (Nah that's a lie but I was doing mine during covid :((( wasn't a fun time and I practically failed all three)

My Zelda Timeline
My Zelda timeline inspired by lorulean historian, Brian David Gilbert, and Bird Keeper Toby: Includes fan creations:
keep in mind not everyone may agree on this timeline. This isn’t to discredit anyone else’s personal timeline it is simply the way I see the games as fitting together:
Majora’s Mask prequel manga
Minish cap and split:
Timeline 1: Minish cap bad ending: Zelda is turned to stone and Vaati briefly rampages but Link seals Vaati in the four sword leading to the rest of the four swords trilogy.
Four Swords
Four Swords Bonus Manga Stories
Four Swords Adventures
Timeline 1A: link to the past and other classic Zelda games: A branch off from the four swords trilogy in which Ganon tries to steal the triforce and gets sealed in the sacred realm.
A link to the past
Nintendo Land: Zelda Battle Quest
Oracle of ages and seasons
Ancient Stone Tablets and Link’s awakening
The Time Break and BS The Legend Of Zelda: Link goes into the multiverse after being stranded in the Mario universe, whilst he is gone the events of BS The Legend Of Zelda happen in which a different set of protagonists battle Ganon since link is absent:
Super Mario RPG
Donkey Kong Country 3
Captain Rainbow
Super Mario Maker
Super Mario Maker 2
Mario Kart 8
Soulcalibur II
Sonic Lost World Legend Of Zelda Zone
Scribblenauts Unlimited
End of time break: Link returns to his own universe:
Oath of Riruto
A link between worlds
Tri force heroes
Zelda’s Adventure
End
Timeline 1B: CDI Shenanigans: Instead of going to the sacred realm Ganon goes directly for Hyrule leading to the original Zelda games and media.
Zelda Game watch
The legend of Zelda and the moblin’s magic spear book presumably takes place at some point during the original Zelda game.
The Faces of Evil
Zelda Game and Watch
The wand of Gamelon
Crystal Trap and Shadow Prince
Zelda Tv Show and Valiant Comics
Captain N
Zelda 2: Adventure of Link
Battle of Mirage Castle
End
Timeline 2: Minish Cap good ending: the regular ending of Minish Cap leading to the prospering of Hyrule and a different origin for Ganon.
Cadence Of Hyrule
The Skull Kid And The Mask manga story
Ocarina Of time
Rouru Of The Watarara Manga story
Link and the Portal of Doom
Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland
Tingle's balloon trip of love
Majora’s Mask
Link’s Crossbow Training
Twilight Princess
Wind Waker
Phantom Hourglass
Tingle’s Balloon Fight DS
Spirit Tracks
Timeline 2A: Terrako doesn’t go back in time resulting in the breaking of Demise’s curse and Hyrule prospering for eternity:
Breathe Of The Wild
Tears Of The Kingdom
Timeline 2C: Champions succeed: Terrako Travels back in time allowing the champions to succeed. However Ganon was meant to be destroyed for good to break the curse so unbeknownst to them they have doomed The Hero, Hylia, and Demise to reincarnate for eternity meaning there will never be true peace in Hyrule:
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
Hyrule Warriors
Hang ‘Em Hyrule a Zelda western fan Film
Modern Zelda Fan Film
Demise’s curse is never broken leading to Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf reincarnating for the rest of time.
Timeline 2D: Cadence doesn’t come to Hyrule:
Octavo’s Ode
Ganon’s Fury
Symphony Of The Mask
Ocarina Of Time
Wind Waker Arc (Hyrule Warriors)
Leads back to Phantom Hourglass in Timeline 2 and continues as normal from there
I haven’t been able to figure out where the hell Skyward Sword fits on the timeline though. It clearly can’t be first since the first timeline cannot logically include Skyward Sword as part of its backstory due to the fact that Zelda 2 gives a different origin story for the very first Princess Zelda. Unless the Zelda from Zelda 2 is the same as the one from Skyward Sword this would not work. It could go after Minish Cap but it would be hard to explain how the humans go from living on the ground to in the sky. The easy solution would be to say that the timeline was never unified in the first place.

A Look Back At Nintendo Wii
The Wii is no longer the hype it once was, but for its time, it was a game-changer. The Nintendo console revolutionized gaming by providing an entirely new way to play games, with its innovative twist on motion control. The Wii marked a significant shift in gaming culture, and it has been hailed as one of the greatest video game consoles ever made.
One of the reasons for the Wii's success is that it was unique. No other console had the ability to provide an engaging experience with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, which allowed gamers to move and control characters just by shaking their wiimotes. This new motion-based control method made gaming accessible to a much broader audience than previous consoles.
In addition to its innovative motion control system, the Wii also boasted impressive graphics and sound capabilities. With the Wii's unique hardware architecture, the console was capable of handling complex games with stunning visuals and immersive audio. The Wii's first-generation releases are still considered some of the best games ever made.
But it wasn't just the hardware that made the Wii stand out. It was also the Wii U GamePad, which allowed for more interactive experiences. The console's second-generation release in 2012 had the Wii U GamePad as its main feature, offering a tablet-like interface with a range of games and apps. This allowed players to immerse themselves in gameplay in ways they couldn't on traditional consoles.
The Wii U proved to be an even more popular console in the second generation, thanks in large part to Nintendo's efforts to appeal to gamers of all ages. The console offered family-friendly games like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as well as more mature fare like Metroid Prime 4.
The Wii U's success was attributed in part to Nintendo's investment in cross-platform gaming. The console allowed players to seamlessly switch between the Wii U and Nintendo Switch consoles, allowing for a more seamless transition from one platform to another.
The Wii U also played a major role in Nintendo's efforts to revitalize the gaming industry. In 2013, the company released The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes on the Wii U, which was a critical success and helped to boost sales of the console overall.
The Wii U's legacy has been somewhat shaky in recent years. Nintendo made some questionable decisions regarding its next-generation console, the Switch, and its efforts to revitalize the gaming industry have been mixed at best. But Nintendo continues to innovate and produce great games, including titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
In conclusion, the Wii was a remarkable console that transformed gaming culture in many ways. It provided engaging motion-based experiences with its unique hardware architecture, and it boasted impressive graphics and sound capabilities. Despite some weaknesses along the way, Nintendo's next-generation consoles have been successful, making the Wii U a beloved console that continues to inspire gamers of all ages.

Symbiotic Slapstick: How Microbes and Art Have Turned My Body Into a Comedy Show
Alright, buckle up, my microbial-loving students, because we’re about to take a one-way ticket to the microbial underworld you never knew was living rent-free inside your gut. Yeah, I’m talking about the human microbiome, that wild party going on beneath your skin where trillions of microbes—like some kind of microscopic rave—are getting lit while managing your health. And spoiler alert: you didn’t even get an invite! Oh, don't worry though, they’re benevolent gatecrashers, unlike your ex showing up to your birthday with that weird friend from spin class.
Now, let’s talk about symbiosis—an intimidating word that basically translates to, "Microbes are in charge, and you’re just along for the ride." Seriously, your microbiome is like the uncredited producer behind your entire health saga, dictating digestion, immunity, and even mood swings, like some twisted reality TV show host who controls your fate based on how much yogurt you eat. It's as if "Survivor" meets "Big Brother," but instead of dramatic tribal councils, we’ve got microbes pulling the strings in your stomach.
But here’s where it gets even weirder, and let me tell you, the future’s gotten downright funky—artists have discovered that the microbiome is the ultimate muse. Yep, turns out that all those tiny hitchhikers in your body have been busy inspiring painters, sculptors, and probably even TikTok influencers to turn microbial life into the next breakout art trend. Move over, oil on canvas! Here comes E. coli on agar plates, baby! Forget the Louvre; we’re talking about art pieces that could double as a petri dish with a side of penicillin, and honestly, I’m ready to sign up for the first ever science and art gallery featuring nothing but microbial murals. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s break it down, in the most manic, meme-fueled way possible.
Now picture this: You're walking down the street. Casual. But inside you? It's like a crowded "Mario Kart" track in your intestines, with bacteria zooming around, dodging each other like it's Rainbow Road out here, and they're somehow keeping you alive while doing it. That’s the microbiome at work—saving the day, even when you’ve eaten nothing but instant ramen for a week straight because, let’s face it, cooking is for those with their lives together. These microbes are the unsung heroes of your health, protecting you from disease while simultaneously controlling the amount of cheese you can safely consume without needing a nap (spoiler: it’s never enough).
But not all heroes wear capes. Some of them are invisible, tiny germ overlords living between your molars. The world of microbes is like a microscopic "Game of Thrones"—alliances forming, houses fighting for dominance, bacteria overthrowing empires, fungi giving side-eye to parasites like they're competing in "RuPaul's Drag Race." And as chaotic as it sounds, these minuscule creatures actually work in perfect symbiosis with your body. It’s the ultimate power couple situation—your human cells play the slightly clueless but well-meaning host, while the microbiome is that brilliant, eccentric partner who shows up in designer bacteria and just takes over the whole party, fixing your immune system and throwing a snarky look at any invaders who try to crash.
And what’s even crazier? Artists have decided that this microbial soap opera is their next big thing. You know that art’s taken a weird turn when you find yourself in a gallery staring at what looks like a Jackson Pollock painting but is actually a colony of bacteria spreading across a petri dish like it’s competing in "America’s Next Top Germ." Yeah, that’s a thing. There are artists out there who’ve ditched the brushes and canvases for a sterile lab coat and some Lactobacillus, creating living masterpieces that grow, change, and probably smell like your high school biology lab after a week-long forgotten science project. You know, the one where some kid forgot to close the jar of yeast? Yeah, that smell.
Imagine walking into an art exhibit and finding a canvas that’s—brace yourselves—alive. I’m talking about art pieces that are less "Mona Lisa" and more "Mona Listeria." You’ve got paintings made from bacteria that form intricate patterns as they grow, evolving before your very eyes, like the world’s slowest time-lapse that eventually just turns into a biology professor's nightmare. These microbial masterpieces put Bob Ross to shame. Forget happy little trees; we’ve got happy little microbes forming artistic colonies like they’re auditioning for the next Marvel movie: Captain Gut Flora—Defender of Digestive Tracts!
Now, let me introduce you to the mad scientists behind these microbial masterpieces. First up, we have artists like Anna Dumitriu, whose work includes creating quilts out of hand-dyed bacteria. I mean, who even thinks of that? Somewhere, your grandma is crocheting angrily because she can’t compete with staphylococcus as an art medium. And then there’s the BioArt duo, Jennifer Willet and Shawn Bailey, who treat petri dishes like their personal sketchbooks. These microbiologists-turned-artists are out here painting with germs like they’re the next Picasso, except with way more sanitation rules and probably a lot of Purell. Imagine showing up to their studio with a cold. It's like sneezing in front of a Rembrandt. Unforgivable.
And let’s not forget about living bacterial art! Some artists are creating works that literally grow, change color, and even morph into something new based on environmental conditions. It’s like a real-life version of those mood rings from the '90s, except instead of telling you how you feel, it’s showing you how that yogurt you had last week is coming back for revenge. These microbial masterpieces evolve over time, meaning your wall art might have a better personality than your last Tinder date. Can you imagine buying art that might sprout another arm, grow fur, or even release an odor? It’s like the IKEA of the future: "Some assembly required, caution: May cause outbreaks."
But what’s the deeper meaning here, besides the fact that you’ll never look at yogurt the same way again? The human body is a walking ecosystem, a carnival of interconnected microbes with the power to affect everything from our metabolism to our mood. And when you bring art into the picture, it transforms the way we see ourselves—not as individual beings, but as bustling, bustling microbe cities, each one a Times Square for bacteria. Science and art are bridging the gap between hard data and creative imagination, allowing us to literally see the connections we couldn’t before. A microbial mural? It’s not just gross—it’s a reminder that you’re never alone. You’ve got a whole team of bacteria ready to defend your honor like some kind of microscopic "Avengers" squad, led by Captain Probiotic and Iron Gut.
So next time you’re watching science videos or doomscrolling through the latest art trends, remember that your gut might be home to the next big creative movement. And hey, if you ever find yourself staring at a bacterial mural in a gallery and wondering whether it’s abstract or just needs antibiotics, remember that microbes are the original artists. Picasso could never.
In conclusion, the microbiome is a tiny art gallery in and of itself, full of bacterial da Vincis, symbiotic sculptors, and fungal Jackson Pollocks, working together in perfect, disgusting harmony to keep you alive. And now, thanks to artists who have decided that your gut flora is their next canvas, we can all appreciate the beauty of what’s happening beneath our skin—even if it’s a little… germy. But hey, that’s art, right?

Nintendo Unveils Sound Clock Alarmo: A Smart Bedside Companion for Gamers
Tumblr media
A Nintendo-created illustration showing Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo tracking sleep movements. Credit: Nintendo Nintendo has officially announced the Sound Clock Alarmo, a $99 bedside smart clock designed to track sleep patterns using advanced motion sensors. This innovative device will be available exclusively to Nintendo Online subscribers until January 2025. Design and Features The Alarmo clock offers a unique twist on traditional alarm clocks by changing its appearance based on the selected alarm theme. Users can choose from various clock faces inspired by popular Nintendo games such as Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 3. Unlike conventional sleep trackers that require users to wear devices like the Apple Watch, Alarmo utilizes millimeter-wave presence sensors to monitor movement during sleep without the need for physical contact. The data collected is processed internally, allowing the clock to track sleep duration and the time taken to rise after the alarm sounds. Notably, Alarmo does not transmit any sleep data to Nintendo, prioritizing user privacy. Motion Detection and User Interaction

As users shift positions in bed, the clock's display interacts by moving on-screen characters and playing sound effects from Nintendo games, enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, users can activate the snooze function with simple gestures, eliminating the need to physically touch the device. Yosuke Tamori, the Alarmo project manager, emphasized the importance of privacy, stating, "This sensor can detect the movement of a person in bed even when they're covered with a duvet, and it doesn't need to use images or video like a camera." This design consideration makes Alarmo a suitable option for private spaces like bedrooms. Setup and Usability Setting up the Alarmo involves a detailed process to calibrate its motion-detection features, which cannot be skipped. This may pose challenges for younger users, as they are required to input necessary information such as the date, time, and bed-related details. Chris Welch from The Verge noted that, despite the setup complexity, there are "small, thoughtful Nintendo touches throughout the experience." Additional Features

Synthwave Racers has a hopeful interest in a native port
Tumblr media
Synthwave Racers PvP physics racing game has hope for a Linux build with Windows PC. Here's the detail from Corrtex Games, the solo developer behind it all. Which is now available on Steam with a discount. If you're looking to dive headfirst into a futuristic, adrenaline-fueled adventure, then Synthwave Racers is due to offer a ride like no other. Having taken on my fair share of racers, but this physics racing? This has a vibe all its own. Synthwave Racers is sleek, sci-fi kart racing, with a touch of retro. It's a wild ride similar to classics like Mario Kart and Super Monkey Ball, but mixes in pulsating rhythms of synth-wave music. This turbocharged journey is now accessible on Windows PC, but holds hope for a native build. In an email reply, Corrtex Games stated, "Linux is totally on the table for future updates." While an immediate release isn't on the cards, the developer is eyeing support for Linux, Switch, and possibly Xbox or Playstation. This interest seems inspired by the growing buzz around Steam Deck titles. One of the most exhilarating aspects of Synthwave Racers is the test it throws at you. Asking you to soar at mind-blowing speeds, tackling unique courses. Drifting through a cyberpunk city, or sliding down icy mountain trails. Even taking jumps on distant planetary rings. There's always something new to learn, even after the occasional crash.

Unlocks aren't just handed to you. Rise to challenges, scout out hidden gems, then you'll be rewarded with gear. Racing solo? Perfectly fine. But if you're keen on some competition, you have an array of multiplayer options. Race against AI challengers or test your mettle against other speed enthusiasts globally. Since you can see how you measure up against racers from around the world.
