So if you ever feel that you are alone Ater the night The morning comes 🌅 - @deltarae Did you know that Curio Bay is home to a petrified Jurassic forest? Up close down by the water you can see the remains of large tree trunks and stumps from ancient trees that were preserved in volcanic mud. Over time the wood was replaced by silica to produce tree fossils and over even more time, the sea exposed the buried fossils which are slowly being worn away by the pounding waves. Life goes through such amazing cycles... sometimes you're a lush green Jurassic forest (hair pun defintitely intended) sometimes you're buried in volcanic mud but there will always be something new coming in with the tide (thanks Castaway for that one). . . . . . . .
