Hiya! Welcome to the Official Pawns of the Eternal Tumblr! I do Q&A the OCs, themselves, who will be answering questions! If and when I do publish actual stuff with them, I'll probably advertise here too.

Please be respectful if I don't answer your question. It's nothing personal. There may be a lot of reasons why I don't. a) I haven't gotten to it. b) I don't have a good answer. c) I don't want to answer the question. d) I can't answer the question due to spoilers. e) It's been asked before.

While some of these guys can be pretty nasty, try to keep the questions PG-13. If it goes to far, I won't answer.

I set my iPhone to have game music as ringtones, so I don't know. I agree, drives me nuts when everyone uses the xylophone.

I’ll be on the train and like 3 people will have the xylophone, it does my head in. how do you know whose phone is which.

If a movie can have a talking snowman, it can have a PoC. Even if history states that there wouldn't be any PoCs in the setting (which there were), it's not like Disney has ever stuck to history or its own fairy tale sources. However, I still absolutely loved the movie and find very strong value in it despite it's tragic lack of PoC.

what pisses me off is brand loyalty, and not holding disney to any expectations at all- disney sets it's own standards and gets away with it bc of emotional manipulation. using music and cute animals and happy endings to become staples of childhoods and securing profits for the future even throughout generations (many disney fans will turn their younger siblings or children into disney fans)

that mindset and power of influence is dangerous and any fan who cant see that or criticize it is part of the problem. disney is a giant business that has caused a lot of damage.

Catherine is one of my favorites. I just wish it was longer. Still, all those endings made up for it. 

The CE also came with the Empty shirt that has the hearts on it. And Vincent's boxers.

Actually, he is taking responsibility for his own actions. He constantly blamed the 'Dark Passenger' for having a NEED to kill. He didn't 'WANT' to kill the Phantom, but felt that the 'Dark Passenger' NEEDED him to kill the Phantom. Since the 'Dark Passenger' is now bullshit, really, killing the Phantom versus sending him to prison makes no difference. However, Dexter didn't need to kill Hannah's father. He WANTED to kill Hannah's father. Dexter has never had morals. Just a code.

The thing is, the point of the Dark Passenger is that it's a scapegoat. Like you said, it's bullshit. Dexter really doesn't need to kill at all, that's just what he tells himself. He kills because he wants to. He did want to kill the Phantom, but he told himself that he needed to because that's how he justifies what he does. And because he realized that's what he was doing, he couldn't go through with it.

He was taking responsibility in the sense that he wasn't lying to himself about why he killed Hannah's father, sure, he wasn't using the Dark Passenger to justify it, but he was still committing murder, and murdering someone who arguably deserved it less than his original target, so I think it could be argued whether that can be considered taking responsibility.

And as for whether or not Dexter has morals outside the code, he's struggled with the idea since season one. The show's writing is kind of inconsistent about this, but I believe that he does have morals. He's definitely capable of making decisions outside the code. However, as his actions tonight showed, his sense of morality is very twisted and often self-centered. He seemed to think he was doing Hannah a favor but he lied about it which means he knew on some level that she wouldn't approve if he told her the truth. I got a very Rita 2.0 vibe from their relationship in the ending, because despite what he says about how he can be honest with Hannah, he still lied to her about murdering her dad.

Taking real responsibility would be not to kill at all, but of course this is Dexter so if that happened then there wouldn't be a show :)

I'm on chapter 8, and everyone in my team has been doing fine except Nolan. I've been doing good with even Meg, whom has always been titled as the worst character in the game, but she can dodge and can't an attack unlike Nolan. I don't know, maybe RNG has fucked me with Nolan, but he hasn't been able to land a hit or dodge a hit. Sorry for attacking the team you worship, but much like you, I have favoritism as well. It's just for Nephenee, Gatrie, and Rolf.

well if you're that screwed with him then it's time to just put him on the bench and call it a day. also, you're playing hard mode, so it's definitely not going to be easy. it is going to be frustrating and difficult but there's no reason to attack the units themselves.

and i don't "worship" the dawn brigade. i actually don't even use nolan because i like boyd more. but every unit has his ups and downs, and some units are not for everybody. i actually like rolf and nephenee, too, but bashing other characters isn't going to make your favorites look better. just don't use the ones that frustrate you, and train up your favorites.

Don’t worry about that so much. If you’re across the country, the kid won’t hate you. Especially if you give the occasional gift. At the early years, just try to make them smile.

that's a little later than when I started but it'll be better for their eyes in the long term I think
