Best ways to approach you for rp/plotting: IM since this is pretty much new . just slap me with that and if you have some ideas , better --- if not let just brainstorm with what we have in hand .

What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: some minimal idea of the context and eden’s character . some ideas if possible . more than often I have gotten people straight up jump with no clue of what even is going on in my side character wise .

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: depends , most likely really stop trying or let it sink . I’m not much of a person who would pressure for ideas when they don’t even come naturally for me in these kind of situations .

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: First of all , ask what they particularly want and if they read the bio . and of course , have their bio as well ( if oc or any relevant hc on vague canons ) . I am honestly a bit shy on the input but if I found a ground to start letting my imagination loose ( like , something in common between characters or something that clicks well with my muse ) I can suggest several things . but in any case , I’m pretty passive and it’s a lot of gives and takes .

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: depends on the thread , the time and the interest . things that go downtown in the excitement scale are :/ and I can’t blame anyone for dropping a thread . not all the time you will have muse for them , tho , if it was a relevant thread I would ask at least . - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: pretty much free to tell me or not . I’m no one to judge.

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: losing muse , interest , time ... pretty much the same . feeling like my muse is going too OOC for the sake of the other muse or smth . - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

Is communication in the rpc important to you? YES / NO. - And why?: I am very old school and having some OOC interaction to at least know how things are going , it’s as much as I can ask here . - Are you okay with absolute honesty, even if it may means hearing something negative about you and/or portrayal?: I mean , I should . it can turn me off a bit but it’s just natural ? there’s no way something can be perfect or be of someone’s taste . plus I am not that smart to be fully aware of all the things around the motif and IRL information I use on my muse . I’m no book , buddy. - Do you think you can handle such situation in a mature way? YES / NO.

Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: development , exploring the muse , seeing what works and doesn’t work . often new blogs for me are basically prototypes , they are and will most likely have minor or major modifications as my imagination starts working and getting excited . besides , in the basics , you can hardly manage to cover all ( if anything ) of how one’s muse would react to X situation .

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: a lot of quincy lore , come up with more personal connections with other quincies , fully develop a backstory and a post war scenario . cultural exploration --- relationships of all kinds .

Themes I won’t ever rp / explore: pretty much I am fine with anything as long as we don’t cross the gross line . but I’m not afraid of the dark .

What Type of Starters do you prefer / dislike, can’t work with?: absurdly basic and with no context given . not even have an idea of what is the deal between muses . I can squeeze my brain but there is as much as i can do with little information .

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: quirky ones , conflictive ones , most likely muses with specific motifs that spark my interest -- deepness . Aesthetically interesting ones . but overall , those who have out of the normal personalities .

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: personalities that doesn’t work or do not harmonize with the context of their characters . that’s all I can say .

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: I am.... creative ? gdi I did this meme already but it’s hard to reply these two ones. I am easily excitable . if we end up in a ship , expect me to be pampering af . I really enjoy the exploration of relations between people , emotions and psychological stuff tied around it . I do like casual and also very deep things . I’m not afraid of dealing with heavy topics . I like horror ???? also I am very into the secondary character role , as in : my muse is here to help your muse to grow or insight . that stuff . not much of a protagonist role in RPs.

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: I’m .... very.... sporadic . My mood is annoying esp when I’m “new” blog around kind of thing . I’m shy , even if I don’t seem so --- I get pretty anxious over details . I am impatient --- with myself . I want to do so many things at the same time I end up overwhelmed .

- What could possibly make your Muse interesting towards others, why should they rp with this particular character of yours now, what possible plots do they offer?: the fact she is basically a “religious fanatic” , with a quirky personality and a questionable morality , considering she has an inner conflict between the wellness of her race and her loyalty towards yhwach . At least pre war . post war , she has a flipped personality were she is mostly bitter and more angsty but will go from fanatic to straight up hater .

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: bland personalities ? not sure myself , Eden is pretty much ready for anything since her personality is pretty laid back . I guess I would say shinigamis in general --- since she basically is stuck inside Silbern . - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: Quincies , ofc . and people who are willing to put up with her crap .

- What interests your Muse(s) in general: the prosperity of the quincy , doing a proper duty , order , tea , annoying the fuck out of people . being eerie .... - What do they desire, is their goal?: the ideal world as thought by Yhwach --- later on simply for her kind to survive after losing the war and being left to their luck . - What catches their interest first when meeting someone new?: mmm , appearance and reactions to her witty or narcisistic comments . - What do they value in a person?: loyalty , uniqueness . - What themes do they like talking about?: most likely about the order of the army , tea stuff , herself (?) , but she is also a lot for debates and insight . - Which themes bore them?: rebellious , silly thoughts . justice related topics . anything that critics her loyalty/life style .

- Did they ever went through something traumatic?: the first war was enough ? most likely losing comrades --- yhwach sacrificing the quincy for power later on . - What could possibly trigger them?: the simple sight of anyone laying a finger of the quincy for being against their views . - What could set them off, enrage them?: nothing. she cannot literally , physically get angry or enraged . but if we are talking bitter , that would be completely post war and it’s just the mention of yhwach’s name or those who went to god’s palace with him . - What could lead to an instant kill?: invasion of silbern , chaos .

- Is there someone /-thing they hate?: chaos , rebels , shinigami , anyone against the quincy . - Is there someone /-thing they love?: her race , her pride , herself .

Something you may still want to point out about your muse?: She is no saint , clearly . She has a questionable sense of things like loyalty and preservation of her race . she is honestly all over the place

So! Here’s my grouping of OC’s that I am currently active with. [I have many others that I haven’t put here such as Voltron, Star Wars, and Dragon age cause all those Rp’s are on hold. =p I refuse to grow up, what can I say?]

So! For some of these characters I have artwork, some I don’t so the ones that don’t their description will be much longer. [All art is © their original creators! I’ll link them/tag them in the descriptions.]

Mandakatt [Ref sheet art by: @sbneko ] - My OC that I use in the Furry Fandom. Yes. I’m one of those kinda dudes. Heh, but not in the way that’s usually associated with the stereotypes of the fandom. I’ve been in this fandom since about 2002 I think, but I’m starting to kinda fade away from it. So, she’s changing into what you see for my avatar here on tumblr. [Art by: DamnEvilDog - I miss you bubba.] - Out of all my OC’s she’s the closest to me in personality, and such. So just a fancy version of yours truly. XD

Kai - [Art © @sbneko ] Mandakatt’s sister. I created her as a joke cause everyone kept calling Mandakatt a Koi-Cat. So, here you go. Kai is older, and more mature than her sister, however, she is a derp, and will at times, when she’s nervous, grab her flowly showa tail and nibble on it, claiming she is her own sushi. She’s like the mom side of my personality.

Amari Mao - Shrine Maiden [ More Art! ] [ Art by: @tomochii-chan and @mageheart ] From the SLBP Universe. - She came about from a story that I had started to write involving the Date Clan. I don’t know if this story will ever see the light of day because I feel that I’m way too OOC with the lords. Her personality is Bubbly, Outgoing and she’s typically full of smiles and curiosity about the world. She’s a wandering Miko, so she’ll do rituals for those that ask. She carries a simple wakizashi vertically on the small of her back, her skills with it are above average for those that are used to sword fighting, she’s an expert with a long bow. The scar over her left eye that stops at her cheek came about when someone tried to rob her on the road, and they got too close - she’s not completely blind her her left eye, she can see movements and shapes, but nothing in full clarity.

Major - My Overwatch Reader insert character. - You were adopted as a young child into a Japanese family that lived in America, keeping your birth last name. You know some respectful phrases in Japanese but cannot speak it fluently. You reached the rank of Major [O-4] as a US Marine till you were ‘Honorably discharged due to injury during training.’ You are the bodyguard of Yumi. You are almost blind in your left eye. - Wanna know more? I am gonna be cheeky and go - Go read it. XD

Mao - Final Fantasy XV

“There’s nothing special to me, I’m just trying to pull my weight in the world.”

Height: 5 foot 2/158cm

Body type: Tone, but she carries a bit of extra weight making her slightly curvy.

Hair Color: Brown - and long. When worn in a high ponytail it rests at her shoulder blades, she has a distinct braid behind her right ear, crystal beads adorn it at the end, the braid itself is long enough to rest on her shoulder. When she’s not out hunting, these beads get put onto a silver chain and worn around her neck. The beads were a gift from her mother.

Eye Color: Dark brown.

Scars: Long scars that start on her right cheek, one on top of the other, and travel down the side of her neck. When she takes off her coat the scars are noticeable on her shoulder. The scars go down over her shoulder and across her side and stops in the middle of her back. She was pounced by a Voretooth trying to save her mom. It didn’t go well.

Outfit: Black boots, dark grey cargo pants, a thick black leather belt, a grey sleeveless t-shirt, and a long dark red overcoat that rests at the back of her calves. She keeps two daggers sheathed at the small of her back, so her weapons are always in plain sight yet never seen.

Weapons: Dual daggers – Her mother's, they’re slim and simple looking, will be somewhat distraught if she ever loses them. She is also quite proficient with short swords, carries two across her back - will only bring these as her ‘heavy hitters’.

Skills: She’s an excellent tracker - all those years hunting by herself - and can track both humans, and animals. She’s quite quick, and knows hand to hand combat as well, never underestimate her, as she will use her size and speed to her advantage to put you into some form of a hold, or punch your lights out if you deserve it.. For example, she’s been seen sprinting around a Spiracorn to jump up on it’s back, rush up it’s neck and stab it in the eyes. She know’s it’s reckless, and will usually only do such things out of desperation,or showing off.

Personality: She comes across as friendly, and flirty to anyone and everyone, however, she can come across being very forward, or brash, and can also come across very stubborn and sarcastic. She’s a bit of a hot head at times, but will backpedal with someone if they call her out on her shit.

Bio: She grew up on the outlands of Lucis, with her mother. Life wasn’t easy, but she learned to track, and hunt from her mom. She was in her teens when her mom died of an “illness” near Lachyrte Haven, close to Galdin Quay. She grows melancholy every time she has to use this haven for this reason, and after leaving the area, she’ll perk back up.

She can be heard muttering the words “For hearth and home.” when she’s finished with a battle, as if she’s reassuring herself she’s still alive, and what she’s alive for. If she’s hunting beasts, she can be seen resting her hand on the downed animals side, thanking it for it’s life.

She’s gone on hunts for, and with The Marshal, and will admit she has got quite the crush on Cor, if you get friendly enough with her for her to admit it. She blames this crush on the fact that he’s so kept to himself. And he’s a mystery.

She met the bros in passing once at Hammerhead, curious about their entourage, and hearing them pick up a hunt, decided to tag along, from a distance, and tracked the bros through the wilderness - not that it was all that hard to do, and helped them out of an MT ambush. She offered to track the beasts they were hunting after that, and has gone along with them on their other adventures. She, at first, will admit, she didn’t know that Noctis was the Crown Prince, and that the others were his Crownsguard, which Noctis appreciates as she treats him like any other hunter, and not what his title entails. Though she will lay her life down for him and his group, much to his dismay.

She has no shame what. so. ever. And enjoys the flirting banter she has with the boys. The more she gets Prompto to blush, or Noct to roll his eyes, and become more quiet and awkward, the better. She’s out to get Ignis to lose his composure, and Gladio and her flirt like crazy, probably doing so just to get Noct and Prompto to cringe, however she’ll always put him in his place with a witty comment.

She’s come to love the boys equally, and fears one day that they may ask her to choose one of them. She knows that she couldn’t do it, and as much as it would pain her, she’d rather slip away one night, and leave them, then cause a rift between the banter she has with them, as selfish as this may be. She would be ecstatic if she could make it into a huge poly relationship, but she knows the Astrals are cruel in their ways, and wouldn’t let her have such a thing, so she remains as that close, flirty friend.

She adores Iris, and Talcott and acts like their older sister, and don’t let her find out you were bad mouthing or bullying either of these pure souls. She will end you. When the 10 years of darkness happens, much to Gladio’s discontent, she teaches both Iris, and Talcott how to defend themselves and hunt. Staying by their sides through the whole ordeal, giving Gladio truly, one less thing to worry over, as he knows she’d let nothing happen to either Iris, or Talcott.

She has an affinity to domestic animals, where stray cats and dogs just seem to follow her, and it has not been unheard of to have her pocket meow in the middle of a conversation, and a small kitten pops it’s head out of her chest coat pocket.

✿ Does anyone in real life know about your RPing hobby and what, if anything, have they said about it?

My parents know, because for as long as I’ve been on the internet, they’ve known that I like to write and write with friends overseas. My dad still calls it fanfiction somtimes to other people, like he’s proud of me or something, and that’s enough to make me want to never talk to him again out of embarrassment, ha, but I deal with it. Because I truly do love writing more than anything. Other than that, my boyfriend knows, but he doesn’t care about it / ask questions and I don’t really like to tell him about it either. I’m not as embarrassed about RP as I used to be, but I still feel like it’s just something for me that other people wouldn’t really understand the mechanics of. The only times my boyfriend and I do acknowledge it is when I start talking about an RP friend he hasn’t heard about before like a real life friend, so he’s like who dat and im like oh, new rp friend from > insert country

That being said, he actually did surprise me the other week and I have been holding onto it for fear life. We were complaining about a friend who literally just sleeps and watches Netflix all day when she’s not working, and he’s like “I don’t get how you can do that” and im like “Well I have friends online who claim to do that a lot. Me, personally, I’d get too bored.” and hes like “I just don’t get how people can do nothing all the time? Like at least with you and your online stuff, that’s still doing something. I just feel like that’s actually a hobby.” and I kind of didn’t hear whatever else it is he said because he actually ??? referred to my RP addiction as something valid and worthy??? and all this time i’ve assumed he didn’t get it and thought it was dumb??? IDK, it made me feel good.

✿ Have you considered writing professionally or do you have plans to?

Always. But I never will, I don’t think.

✿ How do you handle the toxicity sometimes found in the roleplaying community, particularly in fandoms?How has roleplaying, specifically, impacted your life?

I use tumblr savior to blacklist a lot, because it really gets too much for me to be exposed to it a lot, and it makes me feel shitty and not want to rp with certain people because of how they behave, or makes me feel guilty for how I behave… I usually drift away from things that give me major negative vibes, otherwise I become in great, exponential danger of saying something i’ll regret. I’ve hated Tumblr RP a lot in this last year. It’s nowhere near as relaxed as it used to be, and I know there’s a lot of political debate on the topic of equality but I am not comfortable in a space where I have to edit everything I do and say or just not do or say it at all. When it gets like that level, a good dose of the unfollow button and keeping my mouth shut is what I find the most helpful.

✿ How has writing improved your life and do you see yourself sticking with it?

When I graduated high school, I went to college for art and animation, and it basically ruined my creative life. Before RP, I used to be an avid drawer, I sketched every day, I improved my skills and motivation so much, everyone knew me as the girl who drew in class instead of did her work, the girl who was going to grow up and be a famous artist, and when I went to college, it killed that for me. My ego took a big blow because the tech side of the course absolutely annihilated me, i couldn’t do it. so after that (and that was 2 years ago now) i haven’t really drawn since. but the silver lining was that I took on RP more dedicatedly after that, and found that I truly adored writing. Try as I might, I’ve never really comitted to a personal writing project, and it’s only in the recent times that I’ve taken the pressure off for me to do it, but. RP makes me happy, it makes me feel like I’m doing something good when I reply to people or make new friendships, it makes me feel like I’m wanted and needed, that my characters and plots are valid and that other people would care if I’m here or not. It was a big boost for my self confidence, and it’s also made me so much more privy to the creative world, which i needed after that. so yeah, i see myself sticking with writing.

✿ Is there a quote from a piece of literature that holds great value to you? What is it and why is it important to you?

She stood in front of her closet mirror in her T-shirt and twisted this way and that. What’s wrong with me? She wondered. There was nothing the matter that she could see. She was tall and leggy, like her mother, with full breasts, small waist, and slim hips that curved enough to show she was female. Her skin was gently golden; it was always golden, sun or not, and her tawny hair was thick and long and wild. So why was it that groups of girls stopped talking when she approached them at school and answered her openings with tense words that killed the conversations she tried to start? Was she too good-looking? Was that possible? Was that the threat they saw?

Legitimately, this was the first and pretty much only female protagonist I had ever read about who fully and whole-heartedly loved herself where it mattered. Sure, she still had her shortcomings and moments of weakness, but god damn, Vivian was so proud of herself and what she stood for, and that was so refreshing to see during that period of young adult fiction. It’s why she became my first favourite character from a book. And has pretty much inspired me to write feirce, aggressive, self-assured female characters ever since. I was just so inspired by her way of thinking as a young girl, it appealed to me so much and so that moment in the book plus a whole lot of others, really stuck with me.

✿ What do you typically look for in a roleplay partner?

Cliche, but chemistry. And not always in the writing kind but a lot in the OOC kind. I like people who I can talk to super easily, who write in the same tumblr language I do, who reference memes and are not afraid to hit me up with IMs and head canons, etc. I just love it because it makes me feel comfortable with a person, and like I’m not being a bother. The better I get to know a player, the better I get to know their character away from IC interactions. Likewise, I adore it when players get to know me so well that they read the patterns in my characters easily, and I don’t feel like I have to explain them all the time? It’s like they just know, and they know what path I want to put them on. I also look for honesty, people who are down to tell me what they’re feeling about a situation or whether something bothers them, or is able to voice if I’m doing something wrong. Most importantly though, I look for decisive people. Not overly decisive but it’s just so important for me to have someone who is like “yes that sounds good, i can start a thing for you if you want” or “i dont think that really fits, how about this plot idea instead?” I really cannot stand sending IMs to people about plots and characters and them just agreeing off the bat the whole time, but never really deciding on anything either, and so it makes me feel like i’m just paddling in a circle until i make all the decisions for us. To me, that’s not what RP is about. It involves teamwork, and effort, and to me, that’s not putting in effort. It gets me really frustrated.

✿ What made you want to join the roleplaying community?

I kept seeing bios in celebrity tags, and so when i sussed out what group rp was on tumblr, i was like holy shit there is a name for the thing i have been doing with friends over email for so many years???? and you can use PICTURES? i gotta get on this.

so somehow, i found a group rp that allowed mythical creatures, i wanted to be a peter pan mermaid, and the rest is history~~

✿ What one piece of literature has been most inspirational/life changing for you? Why?

(( Blood & Chocolate, by Anette Curtis Klause — because of the main character, as per mentioned. She’s inspired me to write full-on, aggressive, assertive, don’t-tell-me-what-i-can-and-cant-do female characters without apology. ))

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen — it’s hard to explain exactly why, and it doesnt even just involve ONE of her books either, but they’ve kind of shaped my whole general character story directions?? her books always follow a pattern and i really admire that pattern, even if it is repetitive, and i am secretly a hopeless romantic so i really like how her love stories evolve. it’s always slow burning, the boy is usually a direct surprising love interest, and the girl always gains new friends and family out of it, and the stories always involve a nice little reoccurring theme. In the Truth About Forever, it’s a game that she and a boy plays throughout the entire book, which eventually leads to a shift from friendship to something more. THAT PLOT HAS APPEALED TO ME EVERY SINCE. the example of a teeny, tiny, otherwise-completely-average moment greatly impacting the rest of a characters life with someone else… i am weAK for this concept ok. her females are always usally feircely independent too and that gets me ♥

✿ Who are your top three favorite fictional characters and why?

Vivian Gandillon (Blood & Chocolate) — i swear i could go on repeat forever haha, but i’ve basically already mentioned why.

Jace Herondale (Shadowhunter Series) — back when the first like, two books had only been published, i super fell hard for this series and it was straight up because of the commentary done by Jace and his ability to senselessly bicker with everybody in his path. his comments to me, were always absolutely hysterical. i was so in love with his wry and witty comments, especially the way he kept at ease and casual through super distressing situations, and i really wish id kept reading the rest of the series as it was published, but i seriously fell behind. then the movie came out. then the netflix series. now i’ve grown too far out of it and having to see the cast on my dash every second of every day makes me want to burn the books.

Shane Collins (Morganville Vampire Series) — this is an oooold old series that i used to read religiously, and it was more in the style of anita blake and buffy vampires~ rather than twilight and true blood -esque content. it got really weird and complicated though so i gave up on it, but for a time, i adored it. and i loved shane because he was hilariously human, he hated everybody except his housemates (though sometimes that could be questioned) and nobody held a grudge better than him. he had a knack for getting in trouble, usually on his own accord, was feircely protective and spent most of his time just being a genuine nuisance and temper tantrum thrower. i saw a lot of me in him, and idk. i just like people with tempers, i think it makes them super fun to read.
