He smiled kindly, sneaking a peek at you through his dark, thick lashes. A field of unkempt sakura blooms blossomed along his round cheeks, tingeing them a faint pink. BA-THUMP! BA-THUMP! BA-THUMP! His heart cried out. Your words left him uneasy, embarrassed even, as they lightly tickled his chest. Despite his wishes, he could not speak for he was grinning far too wide to do so.

Training that evening proved to be quite the challenge for the young slayer as vivid pictures of you had obscured his mind, slowly but surely eating away at his concentration. Your words rang through his head like a silver bell, loud and persisting, furthering his desire to see you —touch you— He's getting red just thinking about it!

“T…Thank you for loving me. I really don't deserve you sometimes.” He whispered, leaning into your shoulder. “I love you too.” Tanjiro pressed a light kiss to your cheek, using his free hand to gently grip your unoccupied shoulder. A cheery laugh had escaped you at his chastity, nearly sending his heart into another frenzy. And to no one's surprise, you were enjoying every bit of it.

ZENITSU AGATSUMA

Oh my, you've made the poor thing faint. Stumbling over his words much like any other sweet adolescent. His fair skin held a warmth much like the sun, if not putting it to shame. Even with his lack of consciousness, that same lovesick grin had never fled his lips. Oh, and be a dear and close his mouth. We wouldn't want him to swallow any pesky flies, would we?

Upon his return from the land of dreams, Zenitsu was distraught. His body rested against the plush cushions of your futon with you seated by his side. He watches you gently rest a damp cloth on his burning skin, humming a feeble tune to occupy the silence. Zenitsu cleared his throat in hopes of "cooly" responding to your confession, but as you'd expect, he fails miserably.

“I-I love you too!!” He shouted, clasping your hands to his chest. “Wait, no — I love you more than anything!” You gently push him back towards the futon, tucking him beneath the sheets once more before lightly caressing his rosy cheeks. To him, words simply cannot convey his feelings for you. They are far too complex to describe. He's happy and he sure as hell wants you to know that.

INOSUKE HASHIBIRA

“Eh? The hell is that!?” Of course, he's confused, why wouldn't he be? Don't take it to heart, you expected this after all. (growing up in the wild does that to you.) Nonetheless, you can't help but feel a little bit annoyed by his statement. Just how clueless could he possibly be and why did you care about him so much? Two questions that you decided to indulge in another time.

Once you walked away, Insouke was quick to find Tanjiro and ask what this "love" thing was, seeing as you were so reluctant to tell him. At first, he finds it rather silly. Why do people use those words as a term of endearment anyways? He can just show you how much he cares! But with further convincing from Tanjiro, Inosuke shoves his inquiries to the side...for now.

“I ‘luove’ you, or whatever you said, too.” You gave him the most deadpan expression, using that moment to take in the immediate panic dancing across his gentle features. A snort slipped past your lips as you snaked your arms around his perfectly thin waist. At that point, you didn't know what you hated more, his obliviousness or his pretty face.

GENYA SHINAZUGAWA

“What...what'd you say?” He grimaced at the harshness of his tone as it was not his intention. He turned away from you, brushing his nose with the pad of his thumb in sheer hope of masking his embarrassment. But it didn't. You were able to spot the deep red creeping up the back of his neck to the tips of his ears. Scooting a bit closer to him, you rest your head on his back, rendering him stiff. But at that moment, you just didn't care.

Being as ill-mannered as he is, Genya hadn't expected anyone who didn't share the same blood to genuinely care for him. The boy has natural bitch repellent unbeaten in his DNA so surely even you are aware of the reasoning behind his insecurities. But, I suppose that makes him charming in a very questionable sense.

“You aren't too bad yourself...” which roughly translates to “I love you too so please don't take this the wrong way.” Genya needs as much love as he can get, though he refuses to admit it. As his partner you should go with your gut when dealing with him — if you think he needs comfort, a hug, then just do it — because at times, you seek to understand his emotions better than himself.

♡Tanjiro was always curious as to why you never took off your mask. He simply assumed it was important to you and left it that.

Tanjiro sat next to you on the wooden engawa of the butterfly mansion. Since the two of you had gotten injured on a mission together, you were once again forced to undergo shinobu’s painful training.

The garden of the butterfly mansion was nice and peaceful. It was quiet for once considering 

Zenitsu and Inosuke had been inside the estate. The only thing being heard was Tanjiro’s soft and continuous chattering.

You listened intently to him until your eyes and mind drifted off to the plate holding onigiri. 

You were starving, since you had skipped breakfast. And you had been with Tanjiro long enough to be comfortable with taking your mask off. Your hands reached up to your face, carefully taking your mask off and setting it to the side.

Tanjiro moved his head in your direction, only taking the smallest glimpse of you before turning pink and looking away, thinking you didn’t want him looking at you.

It didn’t take long until you noticed Tanjiro awkwardly looking the other way, as if waiting for you to put your mask back on.

“Tanjiro, you could look, it’s okay.” You laughed gently, grabbing the boys attention. The boy, without a second thought, looked over at you. 

His heart fluttered the moment you looked at you. The small pieces of rice around your mouth and your wide smile made his cheeks turn pink. He watched as your eyes opened from the closed eyes smile. 

He immediately noticed your soulless eyes. Despite the happy expression you gave mere seconds ago, your eyes held no happiness.

Tanjiro stayed quiet, making you tilt your head in confusion. “Y/n? Are you … okay?” He ask worriedly while reaching a hand out and cupping your cheek gently.

♡he’s always so tempted to take off your mask. But he knows to respect your boundaries. Even if he’s always clingy.

Zenitsu always brought things back for you when he went on missions. You were used to it but nonetheless you still got flustered every time he did so. 

This time, he managed to come back from the mission with a bouquet of your favorite flowers. A wide smile was on the boys face along with a pink blush. “They smell really nice and I know you love them!” Zenitsu cheered before handing you the flowers. 

Subconsciously, your hands moved to your mask, lifting it off your face. Zenitsu’s eyes widened as he examined your face. He took note of your flushed face and the smile on your plump lips. 

You brought the flowers given to you close to your nose as you sniffed the sweet aroma. Your smile widened slightly as your eyes drifted to Zenitsu, who was completely mesmerized by your looks.

“Y/N, YOU’RE SO CUTE!” Zenitsu ran up to you, pulling you into a hug while non-stop complimenting you. His hands then moved to your shoulders as he pulled away from the hug, now inspecting your features once again.

Only about a minute later he realized your empty eyes. A small but sweet smile on your lips yet your eyes held no emotion. Zenitsu stared at you longer, eyes widened slightly as he stared into your own. 

Suddenly tears began brimming his eyes before he began crying loudly, clinging onto your arm. He didn’t want to alarm you by saying anything that may come off as rude.

“Y/N I’LL MAKE YOU SO SO HAPPY!” He sobbed, making you confused. You gave a sad smile before hugging him gently as he sobbed, repeatedly exclaiming that he loves you.

♡Inosuke most definitely doesn’t know how to react. And when he does, I can’t guarantee he’s going to be polite or gentleman like about it.

Inosuke yelled out your name, gaining your attention. The moment you looked over at him you saw a wide smirk on his face and something in his hands. He raised his hand, revealing a ball of mud mixed with small pieces of sticks.

Your eyes widened as the mud ball went flying towards your face. You yelled as the mud ball hit your mask with an aggressive thud. You groaned, knowing you’d have to clean your mask now. The river was right there anyways. 

You stood up, walking to the river. You reluctantly took your mask off, soon after putting it in the river water to wash it off.

Inosuke’s eyes were wide as a finger was pointed at you. He was frozen in place. You looked amazing, although he would never actually say that out loud.

“Good thing you kept your face hidden.”

“HEY!”

The two of you continued on with your bickering for a while. He doesn’t really notice your eyes. When he does, he’s definitely loud about it.

“HEY! WHATS WRONG WITH YOUR EYES!?” He yelled out of blue, inching closer to your face to inspect your eyes. A small blush covered your cheeks at the close proximity between you two.

“Nothings wrong with my eyes..!” You defended yourself although you knew that statement was a lie. Your arms made your way to his chest as you gently pushed him away from you.

“YEAH! SOMETHINGS WRONG WITH YOUR EYES!”

After he learns what it is from asking Tanjiro, he begins thinking any small gesture will make your eyes look less empty. And he definitely gets frustrated when his gifts for you don’t work. Give him time and he’ll soon understand. Hopefully.

♡genya, sadly, makes it unintentionally obvious he wants you to take off your mask and show your face.

♡he doesn’t at all make you want to make you feel pressured to take it off.

Genya had been staring at you all day. You were used to him glancing at you every once in a while. Although today he wouldn’t take his eyes off of you. Multiple times you assumed there must’ve been something on your face. But there was always nothing.

You questioned the boy multiple times although each time he’d dismiss his behavior and apologize with a bright red face. 

It confused you as you knew he must want something from you. Soon enough, you put two and two together, realizing what he wanted.

While sitting with him outside on a wooden bench, you caught him staring at the straps of your mask. You then caught him looking at your mask intently. 

Throughout the entire day you thought he had been glaring at you. In reality he was only looking at your mask, begging for it to come off.

It made sense. You had known Genya for a long time already. And in all your time of knowing him, you had never once taken off your mask in front of him.

“Genya?” You called out the boys name, breaking his trance.

“Yeah?”

“Do you … want me to take off my mask?” You questioned, already knowing the answer. The boys eyes widened as his cheeks turned a light shade of red. At first he nodded quickly without a second thought. Before pausing.

“O-only if you’re fine with it!” He replied with a more shy nod following his words. You smiled gently before grabbing your mask and pulling it off your face. 

Genya stared shock, the small light red turning into a bright red. Why were you even hiding your face? He couldn’t begin to explain how you looked. Amazing.

You heard Genya mumble a small ‘wow’ which made you laugh softly. Genya’s eyes traveled around your face, studying every aspect. He then looked at your eyes. For a split second he saw nothing wrong with them. Only pure beauty. Until he noticed how there seemed to be a small void there.

He didn’t say anything. He opened his mouth but shut it and quickly stopped himself. He felt a sense of guilt wash over him upon seeing your emotionless eyes. Ever since that day, hugs and hand kisses were all you received from him. Unconditional love. But the guilt he felt never left.

♡muichiro fails to understand why you where a mask. If you tell him the reason or make an excuse, he’ll forget it in five minutes and question once more why you where it.

It was on accident as he walked in on you eating. And of course being respectful, he looked away, not knowing if you were ready to show your face.

But he remembered sneaking a glance at you. It was a short-lived one. And he didn’t remember much about your facial features. However be remembered your eyes. Muichiro noticed everyone else had a certain light in there eyes. Something he didn’t have. Then he saw you and realized that your eyes had been the same. He didn’t think much of it. 

He didn’t think much of it until now. He had a better understanding. 

“Y/n. Can you take off your mask?” Muichiro muttered while laying his head on your shoulder as the two of you watched the clouds together. “Only if you want to, of course.” 

You didn’t mind it. You replied with a simple nod before reaching for your mask and pulling it off of you. Muichiro brought his head up, wasting no time to look into your eyes. 

You had a happy expression but your eyes were clearly saying otherwise.

“I’ll make you happy.” You heard him mumble before going back to looking at the clouds, a sad smile on his face. You only tilted your head, having no clue what he was talking about.

But his voice was sweet when he spoke. And that warmed your heart in a nice way.

Taisho Rumor with Muichiro: Muichiro most definitely made it his goal to make you happy like how tanjiro made him happy. He won’t give up. So when it comes to making you happy, he’s the fastest to restore you light. Second to Tanjiro, of course.

Behind the mask

Kakashi Hatake

📖​No one really knows what Kakashi looks like without his mask so you are almost privileged for having the honor of seeing his complete face. Yes, it may have come with the price of your own freedom being taken away due to the abduction but we're not talking about that. It's not like you need to see his full face in order to compliment his looks. You have already done that a lot even whilst only seeing half of his face and whilst Kakashi has always made an effort to appear as nonchalant as possible about it, deep down he feels flattered by all the adoration you throw his way. That doesn't mean that he will let his guard down though as years of being a shinobi have made him naturally more cautious so as mean and distant as it may look, he never throws away the tiny suspicion that you might try to coax him into trusting you more and then use that trust to try to escape. You see his full face by accident as you walk in on him changing his clothes and your reaction is honestly hilarious but it does amuse and flatter him only more. He starts wearing his mask less around you from that moment on as he feels safe around you and because it does stroke his ego a bit whenever you start doting on him.

Mr. Compress

🟠Mr. Compress certainly feels very thrilled to have you reacting so positively to every development of the relationship as it allows him to give you more freedom. Your relaxed behavior allows him to fully dote on you as he loves entertaining you and showing of his skills as a trickster. You dote back equally as much and whilst a tiny part of him still warns him to be cautious around you, he often likes to ignore this nagging voice in favor of fully focusing on you. Your clear affection lulls him into a sense of security even if he is still rather lucid about the fact that his own obsession isn't necessarily something to be proud about. Staying tru to his role as an entertainer, he even makes his face reveal to you a whole show but it is so worth it as soon as he sees your astouned expression, stars in your eyes as he shows his face to you. That reaction alone does motivate him to still wear his mask around you from time to time simply so he can see that look on your face again. Your adoring and accepting demeanor in this relationship allows Atsuhiro to act like a partner that would almost look normal to the eyes of strangers. Security is still a must so do forgive him for having to isolate you for your own protection.

Momobami Ririka

🎭​Ririka is the biggest ball of shyness and insecurity as her upbringing has truly not done much to build her confidende up. As long as she wears her mask though, she can keep her composure even around you, although she still stalks you wherever you go. That tendency to stalk you and obsess over you is only fueled because you clearly admire the vice-president of the school. She gets all squirmish when you compliment her and her skills and her mask is the only thing hiding her otherwise obvious pink blush. Removing her mask and showing her face to others is something she has never done on her own free will as she has been conditioned by her own family to wear the mask forever as only her twin sister is the true heir to the Bami family. So when she decides to unmask herself in front of you, it is a sign of huge trust and clear attachment she holds for you. Ririka is anxious though when she shows her face, a shy and nervous look on her face as she looks at you exposed. Nervousness turns soon into a flustered blush when you instantly start swooning over her appearance. Wearing her mask is a bad habit but she slowly feels more encouraged to put it down when she is alone with you.

Hashibira Inosuke

🐗​Zenitsu is begging you to stop doting om Inosuke as it only serves him to become more confident and cocky as each and every compliment of yours makes him feel like he is truly the greatest. Inosuke thrives on the attention you give him and he truly dedicates himself to be as clingy as possible so he can get even more from you. It is not a secret that the boy is very clearly attached to you and feels strongly for you, although the question still is how aware Inosuke is of the clearly possessive tendencies he exhibits as soon as it involves you. The concept of beauty is one he isn't familiar with as he was raised by boars and for that believes that the strongest usually gets what he wants which is why he acts so possessive and aggressive as soon as someone he isn't too familiar with dares to approach you. He has most trust in you though which is why he allows you to pull off his mask when you ask him if you can. So whilst he is a bit oblivious to the concept of beauty as well as to why you love looking at his pretty face so much, he does know that it gives him even more of your attention and praise which he craves and which causes him to remove his mask whenever he wants more attention from you.

Shin-Ah

🌕​Shin-Ah has been avoided and feared because people thought his eyes were cursed and even after having met Yona and having understood that it isn't a curse, he still feels very self-conscious of his eyes. Years of isolation have given him not only social anxiety but also troubles expressing himself which is why he tends to stalk you and follow you silently rather than trying to spark a conversation with you. To his huge relief his silent self doesn't seem to scare you away as you gladly spend time with him and talk to him whilst he sits there silently and listens intently to everything you say as he adores hearing the sound of your excited voice. Time leads him to get slighlty more courageous with gentle and curious touches caressing your face or your head as well as turning more obsessed and protective. When you one day ask him if you could see his face, he clearly hesitates though as the scornful and fearful looks of the people in his village still remain fresh in his mind. His movements are slow as Shin-Ah removes his mask, golden eyes glancing at you warily. The amount of adoration and compliments you give him though almost overwhelm him but only in the best way.

Aemond Targaryen

Aemond has been scarred for life, robbed of his right eye. Feared amongst many not only because of his dragon Vhagar but also because of his intimidating personality and appearance, they truly view you as suicidal for spending as much time with the prince as you do. Even more surprising is that Aemond not only tolerates your presence but even seeks it out, clearly agitated when he doesn't know where you are. He feels unfairly treated and overlooked and therefor seeks the validation and approval in you. Aemond has essentially already claimed you for himself in his mind and it is to your luck that you adore him as much as you do because otherwise the prince wouldn't shy away from using violence and force to claim you as his own. His missing left eye is a sore spot for the prince though and a humiliation he has never fully recovered from. He expects fear and disgust when you accidentally see him without his eyepatch yet you not only aren't scared but you still think of him as handsome, something he doesn't believe you at first. Safe to say though, your acceptance and adoration even after having seen this only causes the young prince to spiral further down into his obsession.

“Hey! What are you making?”

he asked her pointing to the half done frog, y/n smiled and held it up to him to show him.

“It’s a frog, I’m practicing origami.”

she said while smiling proudly of her work, tanjiro smiled and sat on the floor next to y/n.

“Could you teach me how to?”

tanjiro asked while keeping up his bright smile, she happily helped him.

“Ok so first you want to fold it to the corners like this.”

as y/n taught him how to make the origami frog, they both finished and showed them to each other with smiles still printed on their faces.

“Look I actually did it!”

tanjiro said happily in a lively voice, y/n giggled and placed hers on the floor. tanjiro watched as y/n took her index finger and pushed down on the frogs behind and let go to let it jump.

“Woah! That’s pretty amazing, can I try?”

“Mhm! Go for it!”

y/n said letting him use her frog to jump, he then tried it on his own frog and they played there for a while with each other.

inosuke was training when he went inside the butterfly mansion to find his girlfriend y/n, he forgot he was going to bother her earlier but got caught in training with zenitsu and tanjiro.

“The hell is that?”

inosuke asked his girlfriend y/n who was making an animal out of paper. she looked up at him and showed it to him, even though it wasn’t finished.

“It’s a boar! I was originally gonna give it to you as a surprise but. Well now you’ve seen it.”

y/n said as she finished it off quickly, she handed it to inosuke and he gave it a look around before putting it on the floor as he sat down.

he played with it like it was running, y/n giggled a little as she took off his mask to see his face.

(he only let y/n do that ofc)

she saw inosuke’s face blush as he smiled while playing with it, she then grabbed more origami paper.

“Want to make more?”

“Huh? HELL YEAH! Let’s make a herd!”

inosuke shouted in excitement as y/n slowly taught him how to make the boars, he got lost a few times and he had to restart more than 7 times but eventually he was making them like nothing.

y/n was making an origami flower bouquet, she was making yellow tulips, red poppy’s and orange roses.

“Hey darling, what are you up to?”

y/n’s boyfriend zenitsu came up from behind her as she sat on the grass continuing her work. he took a seat next to her as he watched her finish the bouquet.

“I’m making an origami bouquet, wanna help?”

y/n asked and he nodded, she gave him a green piece of paper.

“Ok so first you wanna start on the stem.”

y/n said as she placed her hands over zenitsu’s to help him. he blushed as he looked at her smiling face as she taught him.

“She looks so pretty I can’t even look at the origami paper.”

“Did you say something Zen?”

“Huh? Uh no! Let’s keep working on the bouquet ok?”

after his first origami work he wanted to do more, y/n ended up teaching zenitsu how to make a lama and a horse too.

Tanjiro Kamado:

You first met him during his recovery training at the Butterfly Mansion. Because you lack incredible swordsmanship and your physique is delicate and feeble, you were an aspiring medic in the Demon Slayer Corps.

You don't want to be worthless, so you started working on learning how to handle medications, make antidotes for various types of poison, and deal with patients. He was training beside the two strange-looking boys.

You warmed up to him right away since he is an empathetic and charming person. He'd periodically question you about various medications you're researching, which made your heartbeat race because most demon slayers have little interest in those things, thus it's odd for a demon slayer to be curious about those.

He would also pay you a visit after training and maybe if he was badly wounded.

Zenitsu Agatsuma:

You were dispatched on a mission to the Tsuzumi house since it is in the territory of a demon. You entered the mansion and heard a male's cries as soon as you walked inside.

Because you have extraordinary hearing, you instantly followed the sound of the man's cries. You were concerned because he may be tortured. As you hurried along the dimly lit corridor, you came across the weeping man, and unexpectedly, he wasn't being tortured or anything.

There was also a little boy beside him that was sort of acting like emotional support, but it's evident in his eyes that he was also worried since they might encounter a demon, and annoyed, well, that's quite self-explanatory.

The young child was happy to see someone who wasn't wimpy and a whiner when you approached both of them. Zenitsu clutched your haori and began crying with happiness as he encountered a very attractive female and realized that you were a powerful person who could defend him. Even while you find it bothersome because he panics at even the slightest noises in the mansion, it's better than wandering around the area by yourself.

Inosuke Hashibira:

Your first encounter with him was during your visit to the Butterfly Mansion. You're the [ breathing technique ] Hashira and are also one of the youngest ones. ( You're below 17. )

Since you requested Shinobu to make remedies for a variety of toxic substances, you took the decision to go see her. Fortunately, thanks to her excellent knowledge in toxins and medications, she was able to make the antidotes in a matter of days.

A boy wearing a boar mask continued yelling and asking to combat with you while you were there, but you constantly politely declined. While you were being complimented on your power and the yellow-haired boy continued blushing, which you simultaneously found odd and endearing. In contrast to the other two, Tanjiro is the sole boy who is acting quite calmly.

You had heard that they were embarking on a mission with the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro, before you left. You approached Inosuke, leaned in, and whispered something to him before departing.

"If you survive, I'll spar with you."

Giyuu Tomioka:

One of the demons Lady Tamayo turned is you. You constantly navigate the city, collecting information pertaining to Muzan Kibutsuji, the King of Demons, because you are able to mask your demon-like physical characteristics. It had been requested of you by Lady Tamayo.

You ended up in a city alleyway that smells like liquor and is filthy. You also didn't anticipate bumping into the Water Hashira, and it wasn't fun. Despite the fact that you have humanoid features, he can tell you are a demon. Even though you had a formidable Blood Demon Art, you barely managed to survive his attempts to murder you with his breathing tactics and also because of your lack of experience with using your ability and strength.

You stated to him that you're working under Lady Tamayo and Yushiro's instructions and searching for bits of knowledge regarding the King of Demons. You responded to his questions regarding Lady Tamayo and Yushiro by telling him that you are the three demons working for Kagaya Ubayashiki for the purpose of getting rid of Muzan.

He's unsure whether or not to trust you, but he's kind of persuaded by the fact that you can casually mention Muzan's name without triggering on the curse. However, he continues to be very cautious of the three of you.

Muichiro Tokito:

You are just a year older than Muichiro and the second-youngest Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps. He first comes across you at a Hashira assembly. Given that you both are silent, you two have never spoken to one another.

Your closest friend in the corps, The Love Hashira, tended to make jokes of you and the boy because she thought you two would make an adorable pairing. But you simply brush it aside, reasoning that if demons are present, there is no time for love.

Interestingly, the two of you were partnered up for a mission in a village in the Northeast where it's rumored that a female demon only eats males upon nightfall. The air was uncommonly quiet as you made your way to the village, and nobody dared to speak. You wanted to strike up a discussion with the boy, but you feel that you will just be disregarded.

The demon then abruptly materialized in front of the two of you. When the female demon realized that the two people who had arrived were female demon slayers, she looked on with resentment. When Muichirou learned the demon thought he was a woman, his visage somewhat darkened.

The demon began rambling about how she wouldn't taste female humans' blood because it tastes terrible etc., but her tedious speech was interrupted by the sound of a slash. The girl's head was quickly separated from her body by Muichirou, and as her body slowly withered away, the female demon began to shriek.

"I'm a boy, by the way, you annoying demon."

You were astounded by his lightning-fast pace, but that's to be anticipated from a slayer who evolved into a pillar in just two months. After that, you offered him an invitation to lunch, which you fully expected him to reject, but to your surprise, he accepted. Despite how silent you both were, you had an amazing experience with him in a ramen shop, and you still feel the urge to strike up a conversation. But regrettably, the two of you barely talked during your stay in the ramen shop.

Rengoku Kyojuro:

You currently hold the rank of Mizunoe in the Demon Slayer Corps. Together with the Kamaboko trio, you have vanquished demons ever since you initially encountered them on Mount Natagumo. Even though you weren't an adept fighter, you supported them in defeating the sinister-looking spider demons.

You and Inosuke have defeated the gigantic spider demon now, you are recuperating in the Butterfly Mansion after suffering a grievous damage in the process. Fortunately, the Water pillar rescued both of you.

It's been two weeks and you're partaking in the rehabilitation training along with the trio and strengthening your swordsmanship as well as your physical abilities. Tanjiro also talked about the special breathing technique that he can use  his father used to dance to, the Hinokami Kagura.

The leader of the corps, Kagaya Ubayashiki, suggested visiting the Flame Pillar 'cause there's a possibility that he might know something, though the Flame Pillar is currently on a mission.

The four of you were about to get ready to join the pillar in his mission, but suddenly someone barged into the mansion and surprisingly, it was the Flame pillar himself!

"Sir Rengoku?! Why are you here?!" Tanjiro asked the tall and huge man in front of them, while the three were clueless about the person in front of them.

"Well, my mission is accomplished! The Mugen train is permanently banned from operating again as it causes people commotion and they also cause a rally to stop it from operating again as it's a human-eating train," Rengoku explained with enthusiasm in this voice and his words were followed by a laugh.

They all introduced themselves excluding Tanjiro and they found out that it was the Flame pillar. Inosuke wanted to fight him, Zenitsu admires him because of his looks and muscles, while Y/N just finds the man interesting and a giant ball of sun.

For a few days, Rengoku stayed there as he was requested by Ubayashiki to train the four of you. You felt close to him during the training with how optimistic and kind he is. He also taught you how to prevent the wound from bleeding out and helped you to use the Total Concentration Breathing even if you're not fighting.

Mitsuri Kanroji:

You were the owner of a ramen shop in Tokyo. Though you've always closed your shop before striking midnight because you heard that demonic creatures are lurking around, especially at night. Then during your shift, a peculiar-looking woman entered your shop. She has pink hair that fades into light green at the halfway point that is tied into three thick braids.

She seems to be wearing a uniform, but the skirt is too short and her top is unbuttoned, revealing a bit of her cleavage. You felt yourself blushing because of how gorgeous she looked. Mitsuri approached you with a smile placed upon her lips.

She ordered 20 tempura and 5 Tonktosu ramen which perplexed you on how huge the orders are. But you didn't question further since it can be offending. After Mitsuri's orders had been received, she began digging and finished the food in no time. You were shocked to see how much food she ate but also admires it.

Mitsuri got embarrassed because she realized that you noticed that she ate too much. You reassured her that you don't mind at all and told her that you were impressed by how she can eat that ton of food. And since that day, the two of you became very close friends. She would always visit you after her mission because she couldn't resist how good your foods are.

Inosuke Hashibira x Reader (Mine)

Hey @mystikalini, I did the thing...

Summary: Inosuke thinks you're weird, his kind of weird, which makes you his, right? Of course he doesn't tell you that nearly as well as he tells everyone else.

You've got no clue when it happened, he tumbled into your life like a hurricane, ploughing through everything in his wake.

You were about a year older than him and met Inosuke and his friends on a job.

He didn't seem to care that the demon you were there to kill was still very much alive when he ran into you and hurled you against a wall, demanding "Fight me!"

At the time, you thought he'd gone insane, fear and adrenaline addling his brain to the point of this ridiculousness.

Later, you realised that he was just that nuts.

You did end up fighting him, and the demon, all at once. It was utter chaos, both Tanjiro and Zenitsu nearly blew a fuse over watching you two go for each other between swinging at the demon.

For a first meeting, it's impossible to forget.

Inosuke would only back off when Tanjiro threatened to headbutt him, while Zenitsu fawned over your sword skills and begged you to protect him.

From that point on, Inosuke would try and find reasons to challenge you. You made a point never to lift your blade to him again, and instead discovered a new way to get him to back off.

'You're kinda cute when you jump around like that.'

If not for that bore mask, you would have seen the blush colouring his cheeks, but thanks to that mask, all you see is the hot air he blows as he sputters at you.

'I am Lord Inosuke, King of the mountain! I ain't cute damnit!'

You giggled, loving your new advantage against this, a live hurricane of human.

It was a joke at first, you swore it was, but the longer it went on, the less funny it was.

Without being able to fight you, he found other ways to "compete" with you. Who can train for longer, who can get to the mission faster, who can eat more. Of course, all of these competitions exist purely in his own head, and end up driving you to spend a lot of time together.

If you're cooking, he looms over you, trying to steal bites until you rap his knuckles one too many times. He relents to just talking to you, sitting on the highest point he can reach like some kind of cat watching over you work.

You're too busy to notice that he's taken the boar off his head and propped it under his arm, chin resting on his fist as he watches you move.

His eyes linger on the care you take with each ingredient, ears catching the tune you started humming when he lapsed into comfortable silence.

You're weird, he's decided that's the reason he likes watching you so much. No one else makes everything look so easy, even when you don't get it right, you smile and laugh yourself off, only to try again.

Yeah, weird. Your smile's weird too, lights up a whole damn room like a candle.

You're weird...but you're his kinda weird. That's what he's decided.

Did he tell you about this decision? Absolutely not.

It's not like you need to know about it, everyone else does.

Overnight, he went from being your friend to being downright possessive.

You were talking to Tanjiro about some new training exercises Mitsuri told you about, when you suddenly felt a heavy weight on your shoulder, warm breath and the smell of animal fur filling your senses.

Inosuke leans heavily on your shoulder, boar hat skewed back to his face is just about visible, scowling at poor Tanjiro in absolute, creepy silence.

'Uh...hey Inosuke, are you feeling okay?' Tanjiro muttered awkwardly, only continuing to receive that blank silence with a glare to strip flesh from bone.

You looked back and forth between the boys, feeling the warmth rise to your face as Inosuke's bare chest is now pressed into your back, his arm draped over yours.

The silence drags on for another few seconds before Tanjiro breaks eye contact, and your world is suddenly upside down as Inosuke sweeps you unceremoniously off your feet.

'HEY! What the hell are you doing?!'

'He was lookin' at ya funny,' Is his only explanation as he starts away, practically running down the halls. 'You're my mate, not even Gonpachiro gets to look at you like that.'

'I'm you what now?!'

'Duh, my mate. You're the only one good enough so obviously I'm the only one good enough for you.'

He explained it as if it were obvious and had you draped over his shoulder like a sack of flower, but despite the entire lack of care in the apparent way he handled you, you couldn't help but feel your hear swell.

His words sank deep, soothing old insecurities, and you couldn't help but giggle at the sheer ridiculousness of it all. It's so very Inosuke, you can barely stand it.

'Hey, who're you laughin' at damnit?!'

He slammed you back upright so fast you were almost thrown out of total concentration breathing, vision spinning as you re-set to upright mode.

Your smile returned and before he could think to stop you, you tipped the boar up and leaned up, planting your lips on his.

He turned redder than Tanjiro's hair and froze, lips unresponsive until you poked him gently in the ribs, from there he was working on pure instinct, and his instincts have always been perfect.

'See? Told you, you're my mate!'

'Whatever you say, weirdo.'

[[ so i was doing some costume research for cosplay purposes. I got my dark blue fur and my shoe base, and I was wondering how to sew them together, when this little detail in the latest season left me entirely puzzled :

there's... there's no way that's how Inosuke's shoes actually work? Allow me to demonstrate :

isn't the fur supposed to be sewn into the sole around the parts circled in red? If the fur is just a sock, then how does the sole even stick to it ? or does he rip the sole off whenever he's asked to take his shoes off, and somehow sews it back again later ?

I went back to the manga to see how this specific scene was drawn. And it turns out... it's even more confusing :

he has the fur on down to his ankles, but the part that goes undernearth his foot is missing.

i've also searched everywhere for other instances where we might see him with only the "socks", and could only think of one : at the start of the entertainment district arc :

it seems it applies the same principle as in the recent example, which implies it's not an animation mistake but an intentional way to treat this... and now i'm completely lost. is there perhaps a contraption to the soles that lets him tie the soles to his fur "socks"? but if it was just some sort of button or knot in the middle of his foot sole, wouldn't the shoe soles be sort of "flappy"? would he constantly be tripping because of things getting caught between his foot and shoe soles?

but then, if we suppose that those two examples actually are "mistakes", and the soles aren't supposed to be detachable... how does he even put the shoes on and off? if the fur is permanently attached to the soles, does he slip his feet into it through the fur like high boots? can the fur distend to that point, given how slim it is around his ankles?

tl;dr: gakuen inosuke was right. it's easier to just not wear shoes. and I still don't know how to proceed for my cosplay :') ]]

'MWAHAHAHA CATCH ME THEN!!', yep, a chase between Sanemi and Inosuke was totally normal.

Was there any reason? Inosuke apparently continued to disobey orders not to run in the hallways, wear a boar mask, and wear his uniform incorrectly

'It seems like Shinazugawa-Kun has a problem, don't you think Tomioka-Sensei?', Tomioka sighed and nodded, saying goodbye to his friend, getting close enough to put his foot down and make the student stumble.

Inosuke was grabbed by his uniform, his mask was snatched away, and Giyuu was in charge of leaving him in his classroom as if he were a totally new boy. 'Hey Tomioka, what do you think you're doing?!'

'My job...', wasn't exactly anyone's job, but, let's give them credit for tidying up.

'Shouldn't we do something...? Shinazugawa-Kun apparently wants to hit Tomioka...'

'Mhm! Calm down Kanae! Remember that the director has prohibited fighting in this place! And I trust that Tomioka and Shinazugawa will respect that!', Rengoku was right.

Sanemi growled and pushed Tomioka hard enough just to push him away as he walked away in the opposite direction, apparently not going to waste his time waiting for Giyuu to give him any answers.

'How the hell can these students be so bad at math...?! What idiots, one of the lazy people talking so that these idiots don't pay attention!', Sanemi growled and threw the pen away. 'Be more careful where you throw your things, Shinazugawa'

'I didn't ask you to pick it up, idiot. Don't think I'll thank you for that.'

'I wasn't planning on getting them either'. It was enough for Sanemi, Giyuu had had enough of him, but what could he do if he couldn't hit him?

A memory flashed through Sanemi's mind, his mother also prohibited them from fighting between siblings, even as a game, he could use that! But... WITH GIYUU?! Would it even work?! He doesn't smile and barely talks, could he even be tickled?!

'Hey "Tomioka-Sensei", a question,' he approached him whispering, call his plan something stupid, but Sanemi had it all planned out. 'Are you ticklish?'

'N-no...Where do you get that Shinazugawa? I don't-! Hmphm!'

That was all he needed, if blowing on Giyuu's neck made him squeal, then it was true! He was ticklish!.

'Mmmm, let me think about it... NO!', and with that, Sanemi's fingers began to move up and down from Giyuu's armpits to Giyuu's hips.

Giyuu tried to continue holding back his laughter, but to no avail...'A-AAAH!! S-SHINAHAZUGAWA!! S-STOHOP!! I-I WAHARNIHING YOHOU!!'

'Ohhhh now you threaten me? What do you think if I do this then?!'

'STOHOHOHOHOP!! LEHEHET ME GOHOHO!! I HAHATEHEHE THIHIS!!', well, it's a 50/50.

While these future boyfriends were having 'fun', Sanemi tickling Giyuu who was squirming like a worm, the rest of the teachers watched and tried to keep their conversation silent.

'Should we remind them that we are here?'

'I think they're both too busy to notice that hahaha! Let's let them have fun!'

You and the kamboko squad are in this massive fight with multiple demons right

And you are fighting two whilst the others are fighting an upper rank one. As you guys fight you get near deathly injured by one of the demons but continue to fight anyways whilst blood pours down from your stomach along with many other deep gashes.

Eventually thr sun comes up and the demons run away without killing you guys thankfully and you collapse on the ground coughing up blood and wheezing. Through the ability of your soul bond Inosuke could tell something was wrong and alerted everyone

Everyone rushes over to you and inosuke goes with his first instinct and pushes down on your stomach wound to stop the bleeding

You kick and scream for him to stop because it hurts so bad and he has hot tears running down his cheeks behind his masks hearing your screamed cries for help.

Soon enough some hashiras arrive including Shinobu and at that point your screams stop and your body goes limp

Inosuke wrenches off his mask and his heart nearly stops at the sight of you unconscious and on the brink of death

As tanjiro rushes off to get shinobu Inosuke clenches your body to his chest rocking back and forth whilst he sobs

Eventually your body is taken by Shinobu and everyone gets taken to the butterfly estate and cleaned up.

Apart from you.

You got put in a separate room away from everyone else with no visit permissions for anybody

Shinobu told the kamboko squad that it was likely you'd never wake up.

After that news nobody really bothered to talk anymore and Inosuke wasn't his usual self

Tanjiro tried to keep everyone happy but it was clear that he was on the brink of breaking down too

But what they hadn't told the kamboko squad was that you had woken up about 2 months later and your condition was improving amazingly

After the fifth month of waking up you were finally allowed to go outside and wait for everyone to come back from their mission

Even with everything going on they still had to go on missions. Their rage towards the demons thst did this to you made their missions end fast and today they were coming back

As you waited at the gate yoy saw three figures approaching and not being able to control your excitement any longer you screamed their names

In a blink of an eye they were all sprinting towards you

Inosuke was their first and literally crashed into you holding yoy tighter then he ever had before. You hugged him back with equal ferocity and started crying as yoy heard the muffled sobs from his boar head

Tanjiro and Zenitsu came running and jumped on you two and eventually everyone was crying

You guys looked like an absolute shit show lol

Inosuke didn't let you for the rest of the day and when you eventually got to bed he stayed tucked into you, just glad to have his beloved soulmate back once again <3
