sakura teasing ino about her weight cause she's 24/7 in the shop, while sakura regularly goes on missions but in reality she doesn't notice the extra weight cause she can lift anything without issue.

but then sakura becomes hokage or head of hospital so she obviously spends more time sat in the office and ino brings her dango from their favorite shop they like to visit with temari, and ino lies to her about gaining weight, so she takes it upon herself to leave the office and get to beating ass.

and temari just witnesses it from afar enjoying her two very much in love lovey dovey best friends.

Lmao, for sure. Ino would totally be teasing her just to get her ass out of the hospital since she hasn’t taken a vacation in forever. Remember when Ino dragged her out of the house to go on a trip together in Boruto?

Sakura often picks Ino up and carries her around like a princess. Ino pretends to hate it but secretly really loves it ;)

Ino cooks, Sakura cleans. For all her strength Sakura really cannot put together a meal. Like, at all. Naruto is a better cook than her, and he can make exactly one thing: cup ramen.

Ino does forehead kisses the most. She’s a few inches taller than Sakura and loves to remind her of it. (It’s also Ino’s way of constantly reminding Sakura that her forehead is beautiful and that she loves it, despite Sakura having gotten over that a long time ago. Ino’s soft like that.)

Sakura loves to kiss Ino’s cheek. She’ll get up on her tippy-toes and leave a chapstick-y kiss on her girlfriend’s cheek, and though Ino will roll her eyes and grumble about the sticky feel she never wipes it off.

Ino always buys strawberry chapstick and Sakura buys the plain one. (Don’t tell them, but they both secretly do it because of the other’s hair color.)

Sakura and Ino are often on babysitting duty for Maiko and Yasuko, Sasuke and Naruto’s children. Maiko has taken to Ino like a fish to water, and the pure non-binary child Yasuko absolutely loves their aunt Sakura. Needless to say Sasuke often regrets this decision.

Sakura and Ino’s first daughter is Inori, for whom Ino was the bio-mother and Shikamaru was the surrogate. Inori’s bi and a carbon copy of Ino, but keeps her hair styled in Sakura’s bob-cut to honour her mother. Inori has a certain flair for her mother Ino’s favoured techniques, such as the powerful Mind-Body Transfer Jutsu, medical ninjutsu, sensory techniques and quick thinking in battle. She is excellent at genjutsu.

Their son, Yukito, looks exactly like his bio-mother Sakura (Naruto was the surrogate so he has whisker marks on his cheeks). He’s shy and quiet, much like Sakura as a child, and keeps his hair in two small, curly pigtails at the back of his head. He has inherited his mother Sakura’s legendary strength, immense chakra control and aptitude for medical ninjutsu, as well as a talent for taijutsu. 

Sasuke was Sakura’s best man, and Chōji was Ino’s. Ino forced Shikamaru into becoming a bridesmaid (surprisingly, the Nara rocked the dress and even seemed to enjoy wearing it)! Naruto was all too happy to be Sakura’s bridesmaid, of course.

They were married on September 23rd, the day they really connected (coincidentally, Ino’s birthday!). And to celebrate their anniversary, they always, always go to a flower field full of the cosmos and gladiolus flowers that Sakura and Ino symbolise to each other.

i've watched children of a lesser god way too much. imagine deaf!sakura as a mednin and ino starting to work with her, and then becoming SUPER determined not just to learn from sakura's amazing skills, but to learn enough sign language to connect with her and make her fall in love. ino would be super stubborn and determined about talking to sakura even if her signing was clumsy, and sakura just being very perplexed at first before deciding to play along
