A shiver ran down her spine, like a dead man’s hand running his cold rigid fingers over her back. Her instinct told her to swirl around, ready to defend and attack, however she knew there was no threat so with great force she resisted and focused on the coffee machine ahead of her. When she resumed to press a few buttons in order to customise her beverage she heard footsteps entering the cafeteria and the reason for her sixth sense tingling. Out of old habit she made sure to slightly turn to the side so she could see better behind herself out of the corner of her eye. 

“   Sneaking off for an early coffee break are we? ”    Ingrid picked up her finished coffee and turned to face Innochka with a polite smile. “   These UN Security Councils can be a bit too dull, in my opinion. ”

"I do believe I have plans to go up to Amsterdam, apparently there's many different places to get coffee which I'm more of a tea person myself but I can manage."

She gave a small nod, honestly pretty excited on the inside. Getting away with no drama or paperwork? (Good God all the paperwork...) What wasn't there to be excited about?

He’ll have to inform Jan of his visitor no doubt, maybe he’d like to join them. “It may be warmer than it is in Russia but it’s still not warm enough to go swimming.” Well they could, but it’s farm more enjoyable during summer.

“Perhaps I will visit you first in case I get sunburned. It will be embarrassing walking around with a lobster!”

“Portu- Oh, I see.”

Well, well, well. Jan keeps his little smile as he watches what promises to not be a boring experience with the Russian. His own secret guilty pleasure- always drawing him to such things.

“Yes. And you will not sunburn for it’s not that warm in Portugal this time of year I assure you.”
