Brothers, Friends, and more pt.1
Pairings: Crosshair x fem! Reader
Summary: you’re a bounty hunter for the empire, and are sent by hemlock to track down crosshair and kill him, you find him on Pabu but have to fight him and the rest of the team. You manage to hold yourself up against all three of them and call them traitors to the empire, to the clones still fighting. But they tell you all the atrocities the empire has done… and now you have to re-evaluate where you belong… Warnings: cannon violence, shouting, italics are flashbacks.
Authors note: I used widowmaker from overwatch as a reference to readers bounty attire lol

They were all traitors, to the empire and everything it stood for. You were the first to put your name in the hat to hunt them down, and your name was the first drawn.
“They are traitors to the empire. I will eliminate every last one.” Is what you had told Doctor Hemlock as he gave you the details of your mission. Though many details were left out, besides the fact that one man called Crosshair had killed an imperial officer and escaped with the clone child Omega before she was recaptured.
Hemlock wanted them dead.
And you would obey.

“Coordinates are primed, sev, how's the stabilizer looking?” You called out to your only companion, a BD unit painted black and red to match the colors of your suit. You heard various beeps of binary as your droid told you everything was primed and ready.
“Okay girl, let's go crush these backstabbers.” You stated, pushing down a lever slowly as your ship shifted and jumped into hyperspace. You stood up from your chair and stretched, making your way to your ships fresher as you cleaned up a bit.
You stood back, checking out the armor plating on your suit.
You wore a one piece bodysuit, mainly black but with accents of glowing red. The front part of the suit over your chest consisted of black plastoid armor covered with a thin layer of metal. The sleeves of the suit were short, stopping at your elbow, and attached to the sides of your thighs and legs was the same plastoid armor covered in black leather, with more red accents.
You wore fingerless black leather gloves but on your left arm only you wore a black plastoid arm bracer with a datapad built into the circuitry and armor on the top part of the bracer, and on the bottom of the bracer was a hidden knife sheath, almost unnoticeable.
Finally, the most intricate part of your armor was your helmet. Though it wasn’t much of a helmet and more of a mask that could retract upwards, acting like a headdress. The mask’s main color was black, but there were several red circles in specific spots on the mask, and when it was down covering your eyes it almost looked like a spider’s eyes.
But these lenses could swap out with each other and allowed you to see things from very far distances, in infra-red, night vision or x-ray. All modifications on your armor you had created yourself.
before you were a bounty hunter, you were a bit of a mechanical scientist on your home planet, you’d create droids or metal hands amongst many other things, it was a skill you kept close to you.
Your sniper rifle was another thing you modified, with a longer scope, and barrel, as well as a grapple and silencer and a few other fun little gadgets.
You walked out of the fresher, running a hand through your hair before tying it up into a french braid so it wouldn’t get in your face. Your BD unit climbed up the little groves in your legs armor before gripping onto a strap on your back beside your rifle, which was already clipped onto the strong magnets built into your back armor.
A beeping in the cockpit of your ship notified you that you were approaching your destination, so you took a seat and exited from hyperspace, reaching the planet of Pabu.
You scrambled your sensors and then cloaked your ship so it wouldn’t be spotted before flying into the atmosphere. You circled an island, heavily populated before flying down towards the caves, finding a place to land your ship. You lifted the cloak once the scanners showed it was safe to do so, taking your rifle from its clip on your back, lowering your mask over your eyes as you left your ship with sev on your shoulders.
You scanned the area before walking away from your ship. You kept low to the ground, and found walls to scale to stay out of eyesight. You had a puck of what Crosshair looked like, so once you found a good vantage point that kept you well hidden, you peered through your sniper and started looking at the docks.
You zoomed in when you noticed a few unusual men by a shuttle, loading it up with supplies. You narrowed your eyes and zoomed in further, scanning each man with your visor which sent the data to your datapad before spotting the man you came here for.
He had a tattoo of a crosshair over his right eye which was right on the nose and it even made you snicker a bit. You could take him out at that moment if you wanted too, but there were also too many variables.
You pulled your head back and lowered your scope as you shuffled to your knees, searching for a better hidden position, hoping to catch him alone.
In the meantime however, Crosshair had the feeling he was being watched, intently. He looked around, narrowing his eyes as his hands tightened into fists. “What’s wrong?” Hunter asked, his voice breaking Crosshair out of his thoughts. “I don't know…” He trailed off, looking around once again before turning to his brother.
“I feel like something… or someone is watching us.” He explained, tensing only for a second as Hunter placed a hand on his shoulder, scanning the area but seeing or sensing nothing close. “Well we’ll just stick together then, if someone is here they won't strike with me and Wrecker around.” He stated, hoping to relieve Crosshair.
But something was still pricking in the back of his mind, and he couldn’t place it.
Something almost familiar.

You had followed Crosshair and the two other men back to one of the larger huts on Pabu, and we're watching from the roof of another home nearby. You were at a slight angle but you made sure you had sights on Crosshair the whole time. You equipped your silencer and the flash muzzle of your scope and just relied on your mask to help you aim.
You inhaled and your finger covered the trigger as you aligned your shot.
Then you exhaled and you pulled the trigger. However in your midst of focus on crosshair you hadn’t noticed one of the men sneaking up on you, and just as you fired a kick flew into your ribs and the blaster bolt just barely missed the man’s head.
You grunted, rolling onto your back as you kicked the man who ruined your shot, jumping to your feet. However the man had recovered from your kick, and tackled you down.
You both went tumbling over the side, your sniper falling from your hands and onto the ground as you let out a grunt, and elbowed the man in the face as he wrestled with you on the ground, managing to wrap an arm around your neck.
You managed to cut yourself loose as sev sprayed oil in the man’s face. You dove for your sniper, grabbing it and rolling away as a second much larger man arrived and tried to swing a fist at you.
With a series of quick and articulated jabs you temporarily paralyzed the larger man.
Crosshair had joined the fray, a knife in his hand. You also noticed the other man also had a vibroblade, and they were approaching you. You rolled your head back, listening as it cracked before placing the rifle on your back. You removed your blade from the holster on your boot, and grabbed the second from underneath your bracer.
The first man came at you, and you dodged his first attack, he had armor on so you couldn’t cut him, but as he turned to strike at you again you ducked down and pushed him into a nearby hut. You jumped up and kicked off the wall and landed on a second, jumping back to the first as you wall jumped before reaching the roof.
You turned your head slightly before stepping to the left as a blaster shot flew past you, you looked to where the shot came from, seeing a scowling Crosshair. You sheathed your knives, and instead grabbed your blaster, firing a few shots towards them.
“Wrecker now!” The skull-faced man shouted, and you spun around just as two arms wrapped around your arms, holding them back as he lifted you into the air. The big man was a wrecker, also fitting.
You let out a battle cry, or something along those lines as you kicked your legs and wrestled out of the extremely strong man's grip. Sev had jumped off your shoulder, and instead climbed up Wreckers arm before shocking him in the face.
Wrecker released you and Sev jumped on your shoulder again. You huffed, crouching down as you used your leg to hook onto the wrecker's ankle and then yank him down.
He fell with a thud, and you took the opportunity to jump onto the canopy of the nearby balcony. But crosshair was right on your tale, as was the unnamed man, followed by Wrecker.
“You’re all traitors to the empire!” You shouted as you grabbed your sniper and shot a grapple upwards to a hanging tree branch, flying upwards as you aimed and fired a few more shots that managed to miss.
“And the Empire is filled with liar’s!” crosshair rebutted, avoiding another shot you fired at him. “The Empire put me through hell! they’re torturing clones on Tantiss! our brothers!” Crosshair shouted, and your eyes widened slightly. “Clones? your clones?” You whispered, tilting your head to the side as another shot whizzed past your head.
You jumped, soaring over the three men before landing behind them. “They said nothing to me about clones.” You hissed, aiming at the three of them as you stood on a ledge. You glanced down, calculating survivability if you had to jump. “Why do you care if we’re clones or not? you're just a bounty hunter.” Crosshair pointed out, and you snarled. “The clones are loyal soldiers, my friends.” You hissed, aiming your hunter to the skull faced man as he approached.
“To the Empire the clones are expendable, they don’t care if we die! I gave my life and my loyalty to the Empire, betrayed my brothers and my actions got one of them killed. But in the end all they did was betray me.” Crosshair hissed at you, and your eyes softened.
Explosions, louder than ever and nastier than ever shook the ground you stood on, your neighbors, friends, and the people of your home screamed and ran away as droid units stomped and shot at the innocent people.
Separatists had invaded your peaceful planet, and would kill to get the resources the planet harbored.
You had no idea where your mother was, but your father laid dead at your feet, having pushed your young form out of the way of an explosion.
You were sobbing, and frozen in fear as droids approached.
But then a pair of armored arms wrapped around you, moving you out of the way before setting you on the ground, and clone troopers in blue armor shot the droids, and saved others from a fate like your fathers. The clone who had grabbed you, was saying something but your ears wouldn’t stop ringing.
You cried, and hugged him tightly. He held you for a moment before grabbing ahold of your hand, using the other to shoot down droid’s who approached. After the battle, you still refused to let go of him, your family was dead and you managed to tell him that, so he led you back to the rest of his squad, and to a man who stood out amongst the rest.
“Who’ve you got there Rex old boy?” The stranger asked, and looked down at you. You were seventeen but you felt like a child in that moment, gripping onto a clone like a lifeline.
“Y/n.” You choked out, wiping your tears. “Nice to meet you Y/n, do you need help finding your family?” The man asked, and you shook your head. “No, they’re dead.” You stated, finally letting go of the clone, Rex’s hand, clenching your hands into fists.
“I’m going to kill those goddamn separatists.” You growled, staring at the ground in anger. The man placed a hand on your shoulder, and you looked up at him. “Well, I think there's a way you can help with that….”
The man, Anakin Skywalker, had taken you back with the rest of his clone unit, the 501st, and he helped you enlist in the GAR. Since then, you fought alongside your saviors, your friends.

You exhaled, and dropped your sniper onto the ground before raising your hands in surrender. Your mask retracted, revealing the rest of your face. “Clones were my family, they saved my life and trained me. Captain Rex… before he was claimed dead he- he told me to always keep fighting for what i believed in… I believed in my brothers. And I followed them into the Empire.” You explained, looking at Crosshair, and then at his shaking hand.
“Rex isn-”
“Why are you Hunting me?” Crosshair interrupted Wrecker, and you looked over at him. “Doctor Hemlock wants you dead, he deemed you too unsafe to live, knowing what you know about Tantiss, and Omega.” You stated, looking over at the skull faced man who still had his blaster pointed to you.
You sighed, keeping your hands raised. “I’ll take you to Tantiss, give you base plans. Whatever you want. But knowing that… that the Empire just discards my friends, loyal men? I can't stand by and watch… not any longer.” You growled, wiping away a couple tears that started to fall.
Slowly the man lowered his blaster, and gestured for his brothers to do the same. “What’s your name?” He asked, and you told him. Crosshair narrowed his eyes for a moment, before they widened in realization.
He heard your name within the Empire before, you were skilled, very skilled, nearly as good as him with a sniper. Sometimes he'd see you on similar missions, and would often get to a target before he could. He knew you, and you had no idea he was a clone.
Hunter stepped towards you, and you looked over at him. “We don’t trust you, but if you give us everything we want on Tantiss, and help us take that base down, we won’t kill you.” He explained, and you nodded in agreement. “Fair” You mused and lowered your arms to your sides.
You told the man, Hunter, everything you knew about Tantiss, you gave them coordinates, base plans, and you also told them about a secret room, a place you’ve only been once, but remember vividly. Hemlock put you through hell, tried to make you more obedient… and it worked for a little while.
But as Crosshair listened to you tell Hunter about this room, he felt… bad almost. He watched as your leg bounced, and you clenched your hands before flexing them open, trying to ground yourself as you told your story.
You knew they wouldn’t be entirely trusting of you for a while, but Hunter knew you were telling the truth… And you were extremely helpful. “Hunter?” You called out as he prepared to walk away, turning to look at you.
“You were going to mention Rex… did you know him well?” You asked, and the man pursed his lips, glancing at Crosshair who examined you before nodding. “Rex is alive.” Hunter stated, and your eyes went wide. “Echo is-”
“Echo’s alive?” You exclaimed, standing up with wide eyes. “We were told he died on Kamino! I was stationed elsewhere during Order 66 i-” You paused, tearing up significantly. “Fives will never know…” You whispered, sitting down again almost defeated.
Hunter pursed his lips, thinking for a moment. “Crosshair keep an eye on her. I’ll be back.” He started before walking away. Another sigh left your lips, and you leaned against the balcony ledge, looking at the water as sev snuggled against you. “I know sev… I miss them too.” You muttered.
Crosshair shifted, and walked over to you, quietly pulling up a chair as he studied you. “Why not leave after the torture you went through?” Crosshair asked, you had a ship, an easy way out.
You sighed. “I was being monitored, a tracking beacon was on my ship, I managed to get it removed but there are eyes everywhere.” You explained, glancing over at him. “I remember you.” You added, and he nodded. “Me too.” He muttered.
You shifted so you were facing him, gripping your thigh as you spoke. “I wanted to talk to you, to be friends but- before I could the Empire assigned me to Tantiss, to find force sensitive children for Hemlock’s sadistic project.” You hissed. Crosshair hummed in response, studying you again.
You locked eyes with him, and frowned. “I’m so sorry. For everything.” You apologized, knowing that only words could do so much. “I’m hoping that by helping you save those clones from Tantiss, and saving those kids.. I can redeem myself.” You muttered.
Crosshair wasn’t sure what came over him at that moment, maybe it was the fact that you had been betrayed too, and went through similar things. But he rested a hand on top of yours, hoping to give you some comfort it seemed.

A few days had passed, you had been helping Wrecker, Hunter and Crosshair with plans on how to infiltrate Tantiss. You hadn’t been told that anyone else was coming to help, but you were outside taking a small break, sipping some juice from a cup when you saw a ship you’ve never seen before fly in and land on the top landing pad.
Hunter, Crosshair and Wrecker walked out, and Crosshair nudged you. “Come on.” He muttered. You set down your cup and followed, reaching the upper landing pad as the ramp lowered. Out walked a clone, that much you knew but at first you didn’t recognize him. However he recognized you, and his eyes went wide. “Y/n?” He asked, and you nodded, his voice flooding your ears as you thought for a moment.
Then it clicked.
You gasped and ran towards him, basically jumping onto the armored man as you hugged him tightly. “Echo!” You cheered, laughing alongside him before you stood up straight. “God you got tall.” He teased, since you were not taller than him. “Or maybe whoever built your legs made them a bit too small.” You joked, and he laughed in reply.
“It’s so relieving to see you alive… After kamino, Fives he-” “I know… Rex told me.” Echo sighed, and you frowned. “I was told Rex was killed in action, and the rest of the 501st died too.” You explained, but Echo shook his head. “I wasn’t told much about what happened to the others, But Rex and Ahsoka survived and he's started trying to save Clones from the Empire.” Echo stated.
You hummed. “Well I wanna help, as much as possible.” You stated, walking back over to Hunter and Crosshair, who were smiling slightly.
And you did help, you helped free Omega, the force sensitive children and the clones, you had gained the bad batches' trust, and now you were back on Pabu. Echo had said his goodbyes, and left to go help Rex more… and you were debating.
Crosshair found you watching the sunset down by the beach, and silently sat down beside you. You glanced over at him, offering a warm smile.
“You want to go help Rex and Echo.” He stated, and you nodded. “I do… but I don't wanna leave you.” You added, glancing over at him. “There's something about you Cross, something so alluring… I want to test those waters.” You whispered, hearing him chuckle as he cupped your cheek with his left hand.
“Then test them.” He muttered.
You did.
And you were so much happier for it.

Ally or spiritual protector?
First danger: Bourre confuses ally and spiritual protector. These two concepts are mutually exclusive because they come from too different cultural horizons: the spiritual protector comes from Christianity in its historical practice in Europe. It is primarily the guardian angel, who watches over the believer at every moment of his life. Or it is the patron saint, who plays the same role but more punctually, on the request of the believer through prayer. And finally it can be the confessor priest, the director of consciousness in the 19th century way. Such characters are foreign to Native American culture.
On the other hand, the term ally clearly refers to Castaneda. The ally is an entity from another plane of reality, the one esotericists call the infra-world. The nagual Don Juan Matus, benefactor of Castaneda, tells the meeting of the sorcerer with an ally. It’s very physical. The ally comes from a world based on electricity, and its sizzling touch is very unpleasant for us creatures of a world based on water. In a grueling clinch, the wizard has to subdue his opponent, a phase that Castaneda calls: harnessing the ally.
Once calmed, the ally transforms into steam and enters entirely into a small gourd that the wizard has prepared for this purpose before the meeting, and that he will carry all his life to his belt. My benefactor had one where he held his ally the Gray Man shut up. Strangely, as he seldom left it, his gourd was invisible, appearing only when he needed it. The ally in the gourd evokes the tales of the Arabian Nights, with the jinn in Aladdin’s oil lamp.

War Machine (108-Point Quality)
The War Machine Armor is a variant of the Iron Man armor, just with more guns planted on it. There are fewer of this variety of Armor than of the ‘classic’ form.
Like the Iron Man armor, the War Machine Armor grants +14 Strength, +5 Dexterity, and +5 Constitution. The thick Titanium/Gold/Steel shell provides an Armor Value of 30. The suit can provide basic flight, has built-in Infra-Red sensors, a Bio-Filter, and is Vacuum Sealed.
It also has Stabilizers. These deal 25 Bash damage and each one has Amazing level Ammunition.
Power can be routed to the chest plate to fire a “Unibeam” repulsors. This deal 40 Bash damage. It has Extreme ammunition.
The War Machine armor adds on twin-mounted wrist guns on the arm. These deal 15 damage, have Armor Piercing 2, High Ammunition, and are rapid-fire.
Mounted on the shoulders are a Gattling Gun and a heavy rocket launcher. Each round, one of these may attack as a separate action at no penalty.
The Rocket Launcher fires shells that deal 60 damage (Fire), have Armor Piercing 2, are Guided (+2 to hit), but have a Low Ammunition level.
The Gattling Gun deals 20 Damage (Bullet), with Armor Piercing 2. It has an amazing level of Ammunition and Rapid-Fire capacity.

SF9 Imagine: Photoshoot with the Members
This is a scenario where you’re a model/ idol and you have a scheduled photoshoot with one of the members.
Youngbin
This man wil be all nice and gentemanly towards you
Looks like an innocent puppy at first
But then when he does his solo segment you’d watch him in awe at how he can just transition in a blink of an eye
He’d give the camera a smoldering look, one that started to make you nervous
Once you both had to shoot together he’d make sure you were comfortable while doing the poses with the two of you leaning against each other
“Do you mind if I place my arm here?”
Inseong
Would make the atmosphere comfortable too with his kindness
And a bit of quirkiness
While shooting alone, like Youngbin would transform into a completely different person
As soon as he’d finish he’d revert back to his ways as if nothing had happened
In your segment together, he’d lightly joke to get natural smiles from you when you’d laugh
“Does this top make me look fat? I think it does.
Jaeyoon
- His transformation would be the biggest surprise from the rest of the members I think (wait no I lied)
- Because Jaeyoon seems so giddy
- But then, you’re done for
- When he gets into his element there’s nothing anyone can do to get him back
- He is the one of the members that’s known for his sex appeal after all
- It would honeslty intimidate you a bit lol
- But he’d encourage you too.
- “C’mon y/n show the camera your best side. Let’s do it together.”
Dawon (Sanghyuk)
- Total clown 🤡 joking around the whole time keeping the atmosphere light
- You’d be laughing the whole time honestly
- But would also try to charm you the whole shoot
- You’d be looking at the shots at the end on the monitor, ooing and awing the different pics
- “I looked really good in this one, don’t you think, me holding you on this position.”
- “I’m surprised I don’t make you nervous.”
Zuho (Juho)
Not gonna lie Zuho was the hardest for me to imagine
But I think he’d show off that charisma for sure
The members said he has the best charisma after all (they weren’t lying)
But like I've mentioned before, he’s a squishy softy
I think he’d genuinely try to get to know you more
If the two of you never worked together before
“How are you feeling? Do you do a lot of shoots like this?”
Rowoon (Seokwoo)
- I honeslty see him acting the same way he did on the behind the scenes videos of “Extra-ordinary You”
- Expecially if you two were close in age or worked together before
- He’d be a total goofball but in the cutest, dorkiest kind of way
- The two of you would pose standing next to each other killing it
-Then you’d transition to the floor to the sit to get shots at another angle
- Before he’d sit next to you he’d take this as an opportunity to start poking your head a few times softly with the top of his index finger
- “Could you stop” you’d laugh
- “Sorry. You’re just so cute.”
Taeyang
- I actually take back Jaeyoon being the only one that would have you shook
- I thought about all the times he snapped on us
- And oh how foolish was I to have that thought earlier
- He’d approach you and sweetly introduce himself
- Smiles and all
- But the minute the camera flashes go off, that sunshine is gone
- Instead he’s an infra-red sun oozing sex appeal
- But the minute the two of you have a break he’d immediately switch back
- “Do you want some water?” He’d it to you and his sweet voice not knowing how to react

Traditional heating methods are more or less okay at making the entire house hot; radiant heat merely helps distribute that heat more evenly throughout the entire house.
With that said, you will find that when you put a fan in front of your fireplace and turn it on high, you’ll still get the warm air that’s distributed throughout the entire house.
