it's not even that they need to remove topher so much as they need more people in there actually advising. because he is one guy with his own angles that are (if i'm being honest) probably a reflection of his position as part of the most privileged group in lumatere (flatland nobility). please just diversify somewhat i prommy it will help

#this ties into 1. the provincial leaders thing i was talking about before since it provides a context in which they would have/be able to #gain the necessary influence to push for their own interests in ways they haven't really had the opportunity to use before & 2. the abian #thing. because she has the river upbringing + the nobility thing going on which puts her in a relatively unique & ties in with her general #personality to give her really valuable insight. like i was thinking & there's no way she (+ possibly celie) weren't the source of isaboe's #information re belegonia & invading charyn (actually add the decade in the belegonian court to the list of things she has going on)#like they have a million advisers over in charyn & they were getting shit done. it was heinous shit to be sure but it was happening!!
