The Flight:

The plane was new and the people were lovely. I found the seats quite a bit smaller than 30 years ago, but the addition of a back of the seat infomation screen was a delight. We watched our flight’s progress across the Atlantic. I tried to watch a movie but found it boring. Rachael and Nik played Trivia and solitaire and Holly and I played Trivia. Holly was across the aisle, with a mother and young toddler in her lap. THAT was exciting.

The Arrival in Ireland:

We arrived safely in lovely Dublin at about 6:15 am to a sun lit sky. As we made our way from the plane to inside the terminal we were greeted with this:

We trekked through the airport to Customs…and again we were the only people in the queue! Customs asked us what why we were there and for how long and agreed to let us into Ireland.

We gathered our baggage trove and met a smiling Marion who taxied us to The Spencer hotel where she spent the night. We collapsed until eviction at Noon.
