Debated on whether or not to make this poll or an open-ended question, so why not both? :3c
For me I would vote occasionally but honestly it's more of a no than an occasionally if I'm being honest. For example, everyone I have ever met from Texas IRL has been Jewish and I've met enough to the point where if I never looked at trufax Texan demographics I would have thought they had more Jews than anywhere else in America. Yet, Texas is canonically a Christian and I don't feel the need to change that in my fics and I don't view him as having an ethnic Jewish DNA. Every single Wisconsinite that I've met IRL has been East Asian but to me WTTT Wisconsin is 100% white.
Yet, I maintain the canon of New Mexico being vaguely Latino and view him as 100% Latino in my personal headcanon despite the fact that every single New Mexican I ever met IRL has been white. I maintain the canon of New Jersey being white yet every New Jerseyan I know in real life is Latino.
#i think it's interesting to look at things like this because Ben obviously has his own perceptions of each state and that affects his creat#ion of them as characters. i also think that if you were someone who made your own personification ocs of anything- you're most likely to b#influenenced by irl factors when working with WTTT and how you choose to view in fanworks#welcome to the table#wttt
