Hi everyone how are you today??!

I must apologize for my small absence and silence....

If you follow me on Twitter you already know this but I was a little burned out with the amount of poses I had been doing the last few months, so I took a couple of weeks to "heal" and be able to bring you more and more poses.

From now on I tell you that my idea is to bring you some posepacks this coming week and the next one. There are a few packages that I already had scheduled in my agenda and now that I feel better, I am able to get to work and get them ready... So in these next two weeks you can expect some new packages to tell your wonderful stories.

And since I have cleared my ideas for the next few weeks, let's get to the point with the reason of this post:

As you may know, I usually post my poses at an earlier time, but today I made an exception. These poses I'm bringing today were not really scheduled or intended to be made haha, but today is Father's Day in my country and when I woke up and congratulated my dad, I felt like to do something related for our beloved pixel fathers.

In my normal planning, I don't usually make a complete package and publish it on the same day, but I didn't want to let this day slip under the table and I really wanted to share with you what I had in my head, so... despite my recent burned out, I made it happen xDDD (this is really wild now that i think about it xDDD)

I hope you like them... and even though it's late, happy Father's Day to all those who celebrate it today!!!

Lemme tell y'all I have been SO excited to do poses with infants!! This update has made me even more obsessed with the game and I hope you all have been enjoying it! Here's my first ever posepack with infants, I hope you enjoy!!

Pose Player (**IMPORTANT:** This has been updated for infants and you must have this updated version for the poses to be compatible with infants!)

Rocker chair from Growing Together expansion pack (Pose 4 only)

RECOMMENDED: invisible baby rug default replacement (removes the blue-pink plaid rug that automatically goes under babies when they're set down)

Disclaimer: I try to make my poses while taking into consideration Sims' different body shapes/types. However, it is nearly impossible to make poses fit every Sim ever made, so you may experience gapping or clipping based on their body type and/or clothing.

Making Gallery Poses with Infants (Dealing with the Pillow) 👶

A short guide, prepared rigs and background info.

Short Guide

Gallery poses with infants are special because there’s a pillow object attached to the infant.

Below some examples and a thumbnail showing what an empty clip looks like.

In some default gallery poses you can see the pillow, in others you can’t – but the pillow is always there, just in the case of the latter out of sight (it’s moved below the ground).

This is also true for poses where the adult is holding the infant.

The set up is such that the pillow is attached to the b__R_Stigmata bone of the infant rig (that’s a point in the middle of the hand) in the same way how the baby “object” is attached to the adult sim (more info here).

In order to make poses with the pillow (and be able to properly adjust the position of the pillow) you need to attach the pillow to the infant rig in Blender with a bone constraint, replicating the way it is attached by the game. You can then move the pillow by moving/rotating the stigmata bone (again, in the same way as with the baby). Also note that if you don't want the pillow to appear in the picture, you will need to move the stigmata bone far away to a place where the pillow won't be visible in the picture.

Prepared Rigs

To spare you the trouble I’ve provided a blend file with the pillow attached here (for both, old and new Blender):

Background Info

Below some notes and background info on how I attached the pillow (also see screenshots in the baby tutorial linked above for similar steps).

You can find and export the pillow mesh with S4S (select “Show debug items” in the object catalogue and search for the keyword “pillow”).

Open a blend file with an infant rig and append the exported pillow mesh.

The pillow unfortunately is missing armature data (there is no rig/the rig it’s attached to is empty) that is necessary for adding the required bone constraint. You can add what you need though with a workaround from another object:

Delete the rig the pillow came with as it’s empty and of no use.

Export & append another object that has a rig. (The rig should have a “b__ROOT_” bone and a “transformBone”. I looked up the koala toy, but I assume it works the same with other assets.)

Delete its mesh.

Link the pillow mesh to the new object rig (click the mesh, go to the tab “Modifiers”/”Modifier Properties” (wrench icon), set the object rig as the armature object to deform with).

Add a vertex group named "transformBone" to the pillow mesh: Click the mesh, go to the tab “Data”/”Object Data Properties” (triangle icon), add a new vertex group there & call it "transformBone" (see/compare first screenshot below).

Now switch from “Object Mode” to “Edit mode” (only available when the mesh is selected). Click the mesh in the viewport and tap “A” on your keyboard so that the complete mesh is selected. Then press the “assign” button to assign the mesh data to the vertex group you created. Make sure the weight is set to 100. This is what makes the mesh controlled by the transformBone of the object rig! (Thank you so much @mercuryfoam for helping me figuring this out and some extra tips that were very valuable to me! <3)

Now that the pillow mesh is properly attached and controlled by the object rig, we can attach the object rig to the infant rig with a bone constraint.

Select B_ROOT_/transformBone from the object rig, go to the tab “Bone Constraints”/"Bone Constraint Properties" and add a “Copy Transforms” constraint. Set target as the infant rig and specify the bone as “B__R_Stigmata” (see/compare second screenshot below). Now you’re set.

Hello everyone!!! How are you today???!!!

I'm 3 days late with these poses.... sorry for that... but here they are!!! Finally!!! The winner pack from the last public survey: Portrait poses with triplets!!! and as such it's a free pack for everyone to enjoy, inmediatly...

I really love this pack! I know I say that a lot lately haha but I trully love this one.

Back when Growing Together went on sale, a friend of mine give it to me.... I decided to play with a sim called Pilar to test the expansion pack and she fell in love with Don Lothario. I don't hate Don, I actually love him. I read an NSB that redeemed him a few years ago and I started to love him. So I was glad that my lovely Pilar fell in love with him in this save. They woohoo and my game decided to troll me and give me for the first time a pregnancy with triplets... no traits used no on the sims, nor in the lot... It was just a game's choice.

A few days later, when the triplets were beautiful infants, Pilar and Don wished to woohoo again... I was hesitant xD (I have Mccc and WW installed, and I have a % to get a sim pregnant even with the normal woohoo interaction) and every time they were going to Woohoo, I would cancel the action, but after canceling it about 5 or 6 times, I decided to let them be haha and that was a mistake, 'cause they got pregnant again... with triplets.... yeah... no cheats, no traits... it just seems that this Don and my lovely Pilar were too fertiles... hahahaha...

Anyway, I got two triplets in a row, with just two woohoo tries... and that was when I started to think about triplet packs. Actually, that's how my "Infant_poses_01" came to life... and now you have this new posepack, inspired for that unexpected event to "complete" in a way the triplet's journal... haha kind of a "memories" posepack, triplets for all ages from infants to teen/adults.

I hope you all like them as I do, because I'm in love with the way they came out:

 Hello everyone!!! How are you today???

I was supposed to bring these poses two days ago, but I forgot to make the post and when i remembered it, i was too lazy to do it haha so, here they are, two days later haha....

I saw these references in pinterest (my main inspo source xD) and i really wanted to make them, so I did it. I don't know who they could be useful to, but I suppose there are many sim families out there with a toddler and an infant as children. So I hope you like them and that they are useful to decorate your family's homes with some cute portraits.

I have many more saved portrait references of all kinds, so I will probably be bringing more in the future, although if you have any suggestion for some "type" of group (for example: 2 children and 1 infant, or 1 infant, 1 toddler and 1 child; or 1 teenager and 2 infants, monoparental or both parents), I would like to know.

Anyway, for now, this is it. I'll leave you with the pose description:
