Marcus is a self-proclaimed "lover not a fighter". He's known to be very friendly and approachable, with a significant portion of the Formula 2 grid mentioning that he was the driver they got on with best in the paddock during his time there. His results in F2 were mixed, moving teams in 3 successive years, as he sometimes had difficulty getting to grips with the F2 car and tyres, however it’s generally agreed that his midfield championship positions during his F2 tenure aren’t an accurate reflection of his genuine ability and talent. Multiple Ganassi team members (including the boss) have commented on how impressed they are by his raw speed, work ethic, and attitude since his arrival in IndyCar. Marcus himself has already talked about how much more enjoyable the Indy car is to drive and how much fun he’s having now after several years of struggling with the notoriously difficult F2 car. He also appears to be getting on well with his CGR teammates and in particular has talked about how much he likes Marcus Ericsson.

He moved to London in early 2022 after spending several years living near Ferrari’s HQ in Maranello, Italy, and is known to enjoy city nightlife, being a big fan of wine. He’s a major foodie who likes taking photos of good food almost as much as he enjoys complaining about bad food. He is known to be determined to the point of stubbornness, causing himself permanent damage to his knee during a half-marathon due to refusing to stop when he was in pain. He had a low attendance record at school due to focusing on his racing career and moving to Europe at the age of 14, and as such, although he’s not unintelligent he’s known to be somewhat lacking in general knowledge (such as thinking Shakespeare’s first name was Michael). However, he has the characteristically Kiwi dry, sarcastic sense of humor and very much enjoys mutual teasing and banter with his close friends, something that’s often on display in the Screaming Meals podcasts.

I agree with you I believe that the cancellation was due to poor sales but the fandom doesn't want to accept it because it would be admitting 1) that his career is not going well and the numbers have dropped since the walls era (fitf is not even managing to make 600k streams per day) 2) that fandom alone is not enough to have a stable career and financial return he needs gp's interest 3) louis and lthq's strategies of introducing him to the indie niche did not work out because his image is a mess and he wants mainstream results 4) his isolation in the industry. I think they overestimated his demand and didn't see that the fan base didn't grow. Sorry for my English.

Your English is great and you laid it all out perfectly! I 100% agree with every point. It once again comes back to them not realizing that the only reason Louis gained that fanbase in 2020 is cause people thought he is a boy kisser lol and they only achieved those successes like selling out venues promoters thought he wouldn't have cause they were being backed by those 2020 fans!!! The same thing wouldn't have happened in 2019 or if quarantine didn't happen.

So now, that Louis and lthq's aspirations got bigger, they are trying to achieve them with the pandemic fanbase in mind, that simply is not here anymore, due to the poor choices from 2021 onward. So I'm just really curious about what is going to be their future strategy, cause they actually need to put in work for Louis' fanbase to grow now since they basically wasted the huge spike in fans that Larry blowing up on tiktok in 2020 brought them.

I'M TIRED OF SEEING IT! I've watched these videos, I've scrolled through the comments and all I see is a severe lack of discussion about the good racing games that have released in modern years. Have these people not played Distance? Literally the best racing game of all time. There are more racing games than Forza, Need For Speed, and Gran Turismo!

But Tribow!!!! That's not the only games people complain about! What about other franchises like The Crew, Project Cars, DIRT, GRID, and more!?! They have had bland releases as well as the other franchises! This whole genre sucks now! The only games that are any fun are the racing sims like iRacing and Asetto Corsa! Modern racing games cannot capture the essence of the PS2 era of racing games! It's ruined by corporate greed!

I'm not just making up a strawman, I see the idea that there are no good racing games (especially in the arcade sub-genre) all over the comments of these youtube videos. The videos themselves talk about how racing games just aren't good anymore.

SOMETIMES, they'll talk about the indie scene and how there has been some good racing games coming out of there, but they often get dismissed as games that are too small to scratch the racing game itch due to there smaller budgets and ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!

On what Earth do the indie games offer less content than the AAA slop!?! What, just because the games don't have an open-world, licensed cars, and constant repetitive events that means they have less content? The indies have just as much content without all of that fluff! Besides, the PS2 era of racing games many of these videos talk about have the same or LESS content as the modern indies.

There have been a whole slew of good, great, to AMAZING racing games released within this decade that have completely blown me away several times over. The communities playing these games love them just as much the games from the PS2 era and yet "Modern racing games suck". "Arcade racing is dead". I've had enough! There's nothing wrong with this genre!

Don't believe me? Ok.

We got Trail Out. Released in 2022 as a spiritual successor of sorts to Flat Out. Do you miss those racing games with cool crash physics and are angry that car companies don't let developers go crazy with vehicle damage? Trail Out is right there, as well as Wreckfest which released in 2018. Wreckfest has even more impressive crash physics than Trail Out does. These games have reviewed pretty positively for the most part, but they're slept on.

Miss the old arcade racing scene? There's A BUNCH of indie racers to fill that void and it's not like higher budget games haven't been coming out either. Hotshot Racing (2020 release) is a small quality package of an arcade racer reminiscent of that era. You got Formula Retro Racing (2020 release) capturing the exact vibe an arcade machine would have centered around, you guessed it, Formula 1. Inertial Drift (2020 release) is a game jam-packed to the brim with drifting content. Its got the Initial D inspiration, its got bangin eurobeat, it still gets support from its developers, the visuals are stylized as fuck. New Star GP (2024 release) has a motorsport career mode that people have been eating up. Everyone I know who has touched that game has been saying it's fire. Hotwheels Unleashed 2 (2023 release) was quite a big improvement over the first game and has way less predatory micro-transactions compared to before. This game isn't mind-blowing or anything, but it genuinely deserved the 2023 Racing Game of the Year award way more than every other nominee because it was a solid release with very little bugs and plays amazingly well. Even though it may cost a little too much ($50 ignoring DLC) it's not like Need For Speed/Forza/Gran Turismo doing any better in that department and those games are WORSE!

Ubisoft sucks unwashed cocks, but they have been keeping Trackmania alive by continuing to publish it. Nadeo still keeps the game alive with updates coming out to this very day. A few months ago they added new cars from previous Trackmania games. The subscription service is a bit cringe, but considering the game is VERY centered around multiplayer I'd say it's tolerable. They have an amazing level editor and the gameplay is still Trackmania so it's still incredible.

I'm not done talking about the classic arcade style games form the modern era. There's a bunch of racing games that go for a top-down view, but still handle just as well if not better than the high budget modern racing games that suck. Circuit Superstars (2023 release). This game is a love-letter to many different kinds of motorsports. You got cars of all types here: Formula 1, Nascar, GT racing, Supertrucks, One-seaters, Eurotrucks, Rally-cross, Open wheel single seaters, Sprint Cars, and even more. You can race the different cars against each other if you want. The game takes tire wear and weather into account. You gotta do pit-stops. It's practically a sim, but presented in a very arcade way. The same devs even making a go-kart game to represent go-kart as a sport. It's in early access right now and people love it. Super Woden GP 2 (2023 release) has been highly praised for its fun career mode. There are people saying this game is better than Gran Turismo and it was developed by a single person. art of rally (2020 release) has been praised to hell and back by fans of Rally racing. It's like it was everything they wanted. The game felt was incredible to control. Turbo Sliders Unlimited (Early Access) is similar to Circuit Superstars, but without the realism. They got different kinds of cars to mess with and many fun tracks to try. There's a super good level editor and the community has been popping off with the multiplayer. Mini Motor Racing X (2020 release) is a solid arcade racing release that despite being a small package that is admittedly average in my opinion, it's STILL better than the AAA shlop.

What about the futuristic racing games!?!? Where's the crazy sci-fi, tron, neon, cyberpunk, anti-gravity stuff? Well there's tons of those too.

BallisticNG (2018 release) is an extremely good anti-gravity racer. Wipeout fans have been praising this game for a while now. Out of anything else I mention that is inspired by Wipeout this should be the one to play, but speaking of which. Redout (2016) and Redout 2 (2022) are super inspired by the Wipeout games. The mixed reviews may scare you a bit, but these games are still pretty good. The sequel didn't meet fan expectations and the game is notoriously very difficult, but it's still a damn good time if you don't mind the difficult. It's visually gorgeous too. Neodash (2022 release) is a crazy fast survival style racing game with high speed platforming. You'll be trying to keep your momentum along ultra fast levels drifting left and right to stay on track and avoid obstacles. It's a small package and pretty difficult, but cool experience. Rocket Assault (2023 release) controls nearly the exact same way Rocket League does, but this time you're not hitting a ball around and instead you'll be occasionally shooting down targets with literal rockets while trying to survive each track. It's a pretty difficult game, but Rocket League fans should enjoy this. Speaking of which... Rocket Racing (2023 release) FUCKING FORTNITE released a competent arcade racing video game. Personally, I do not think the game is good mechanically and it was a disappointment to see Rocket League's original mechanics dumbed down this hard. HOWEVER, it's better than a lot of the AAA competitors! Fortnite's community can do some wild stuff with it because of that level editor. I'm not gonna sit here and deny that the game is competent just because I don't like it. Super Pilot (2018 Early Access) is the game that ACTUALLY plays like F-Zero GX. Some of the other games I've mentioned have been called F-Zero clones even though they play more like Wipeout, but Super Pilot is meant to feel just like F-Zero X/GX and it succeeds at that. Not only does it nail the gameplay pretty well, its got a neat level editor to mess with. Super Pilot still receives updates to this day. I'm excited to see it completed. Grip: Combat Racing (2018 release) is a fantastic release that unfortunately hit its peak with multiplayer years ago. While that playerbase isn't quite there anymore, Grip remains as one of the coolest concepts a combat racing game has ever pulled off. Even if the online doesn't pop off anymore, you can still do local co-op if you want. FAST RMX (2017 release) goes hard. For you Nintendo Switch users out there, there's a racing game that y'all should have been clamoring over. It doesn't play like F-Zero and it's not quite like Wipeout either, but it stands on its own as an extremely cool anti-grav racing game. I wish FAST RMX wasn't locked to that one console because it's amazing.

Remember the game I mentioned at the beginning? Yeah. Distance? THE BEST RACING GAME OF ALL TIME. I'm not just memeing I quite literally have 5000+ hours in that game I love it that damn much. Distance is a survival arcade racing platformer game that feels fucking amazing to play. Probably the only racing game you'll ever see daring to have sci-fi horror vibes. It's aesthetically immaculate and the gameplay is such a unique experience. The car can jump, rotate, and fly around. It has insane freedom of movement. This may sound kinda like Rocket League, Hotwheels Unleashed, or Neodash, but Distance has a different feel to it compared to those games. Plus, Distance is more or less a sequel to Nitronic Rush, which released in 2011. Its mechanics predates the other games you can compare to it. Distance isn't just some small package of an indie game though. It's huge. The Arcade mode has over 100 levels to play. There's secrets to unlock. Cheats and modes to mess with. A level editor better than any other level editor I've seen. It's practically a game engine. People (including me) have made insane stuff in the editor. You can't experience this anywhere else.

And yet, despite all of these games. Modern racing games suck now. Is it because none of these are open world? Well guess what, there's a new open world racing game coming out soon called Resistor that looks pretty dang promising. Are racing game fans just gonna sleep on that one too because it doesn't have "Need For Speed" in the title? Resistor isn't the only racing game people are looking forward to either.

There's a game called NIGHT RUNNERS that fans of Need for Speed Underground and Wangan Midnight have been frothing at the mouth about since it recaptures the vibes of those older games. It's not done yet, but the game does have a demo and many people enjoyed that experience.

In terms of F-Zero-like games we got Aero GPX and XF Extreme Formula in development. Both games look amazing and the people who have had the chance to try to it themselves are giving the games high praises.

A rally game called Old School Rally aims to recapture the vibe of SEGA's Rally as well as the old WRC rally games from the PS2 era.

There's a godamn roguelike racing game coming out called REDLINE CROOKS that looks like a chaotic top-down good time.

AND YET I'm still seeing these videos talking about modern racing games being bad. "Ooohhh the racing genre is in shambles." For the love of all that is holy PLEASE pay attention to what's happening in the scene and stop buying the dogwater coming from these tired franchises. I implore you to try any of the racing games I mentioned here if you like racing games and ESPECIALLY try Distance. In fact, Distance is pretty close to releasing its PS4/PS5 update after many many years of being unable to deliver due to many real life complications.

I didn't even talk about so many other games! Horizon Chas Turbo/Horizon Chase 2, Pacific Drive (that counts right?), Heading Out (RELEASED A WEEK AGO), Turbo Golf Racing, and even a fucking sonic fan-game called Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers thats better than most kart racers I've played in my entire life.

imsa 12h of sebring 2023 - this was my first imsa race after deciding to watch on a whim for a few indy drivers and jack aitken being there and it went SO well for jack, so so so nerve wracking at the end but holy shit that incident that got jack to victory lives in my mind constantly

Soğuk Savaş döneminde büyük güçler arası rekabetin tetiklediği uzay yarışında başlarda varlığı hissedilmeyen Çin, bu yüzyılda hız verdiği çabalarıyla rekabeti yeni ufuklara taşıyarak lider olmayı hedefliyor.Çin, son 20 yılda ürettiği uydu, roket, mekik, keşif araçları ve diğer donanımlar ile kendine yeterli uzay programı geliştirme konusunda ciddi mesafe kaydetti. İnsanlı uzay seferlerindeki atılımlarıyla, bu alanda ABD ve Rusya’nın yanında üçüncü güç olarak konumunu pekiştirdi.Ülke, bu yıl Dünya yörüngesinde kurduğu uzay istasyonuna iki laboratuvar modülü ekleyerek ana iskeletin montajını tamamladı. Ayrıca istasyona iki kargo seferi ve bir insanlı sefer düzenledi. Ülke, 2030’larda Ay’a insanlı seferler düzenleyerek ABD’nin Ay keşif görevi Artemis’e rakip olmayı hedefliyor.ABD Havacılık ve Uzay Ajansı (NASA), Yunan Ay tanrıçası “Artemis”in adı verilen keşif görevi kapsamında 2024’e kadar Ay’a insanlı seferler düzenlemeyi amaçlıyor. 2028’e kadar sürmesi planlanan seferlerin ardından Ay yörüngesinde uzay istasyonu kurulması ve burayı basamak yaparak Mars’a insanlı seferler düzenlenmesi hedefleniyor.Mars keşif göreviÖte yandan Çin, uydu ve gezginci robottan oluşan Mars keşif görevi “Tienvın-1″i Kızıl Gezegen’e yolladı.Çin’in tek başına yürüttüğü ilk Mars keşif görevinde kullanılacak araçlar, 23 Temmuz 2020’de fırlatıldı. August 3, 2022: It’s reported that at least four other teams have contacted Ricciardo in the past two weeks to “assess where his head is at”

Arguably one of (if not the) most successful driver to come through The Road to Indy, it might be easy to assume that Kyle Kirkwood has an arrogance about him. That couldn't be further from the truth. Highly regarded in the paddock, Kyle has a reputation for being levelheaded and easy-going.

His rookie season with AJ Foyt was not an easy one but he persevered with a smile on his face. His first two races at Andretti were certified Train Wrecks but his weekend in Long Beach where he claimed pole and his maiden victory showed that his success in the lower categories was not a fluke by any means.

If you want to find Kyle off of a race track, your best bet would be to find the nearest Floridian body of water. Diving, fishing and surfing are his favorite hobbies and it's not rare to see his pals (who also drive race cars) Oliver Askew and Logan Sargeant with him on his adventures.

When I was down with the plague I watched tons of races back indeed, most of them from 2019 because well, I am biased (I'm almost done watching the whole season back, used to only follow IndyCar very sporadically). But here are some races I particularly enjoyed:

hey! still the road trip anon here…but yes I saw those moodboards and oh god those are really good and they made me *think* during the trip, like as an Italian just thinking about those two traveling around the countryside experiencing fun traditions like some countryside festival about some typical food or  just the san lorenzo’s night (10th of august) were you go stargazing for falling stars with friends and/or your significant other !! 😭😭😭

But yes you are right Charles would definitely be reluctant to a 100% offline vacation, and they would still need google maps, cue on them bickering about who gets to drive and who gets to check google maps (they never think about putting google maps on speaker mode) and choose the music that day (them disagreeing on music but finding a common ground with some italian indie song idk) ...but also!! Sometimes they just go on random places like they decide to exit the highways and just travel on normal roads and maybe they see some sign with a funny city name on it and they just say “we have to visit that city” .

With their great communications and deduction skills!! they can even fool around with each other during the trip bc those skills will make them think  something along the lines of “fuck i am in love with him, but he just thinks i am a good friend!!” and the chaos of going back to their normal life with all those new feelings!!

Also I totally didn't look this up just now but because I'm still thinking about this taking place in 2020... The 10th of August was the Monday just after the British GPs and before the Spanish GP... So I'm totally pretending like they could have sneaked back to Italy just for that fjskfj or if my sense of geography got real bad again and this isn't as quick or easy as I think it is, them being in Italy now, in 2022, and sleeping underneath the starry night for San Lorenzo's Night. Charles complains about getting grass stains on his clothes to stop this from feeling so romantic. Seb brought a blanket in preparation so they lay on there, arms touching because it's not the biggest blanket. Charles says something about this being the last time because the guy knows how to mope. Seb's like "what d'you mean, we can do this even more often next year if you'd like. Only if you want to. Would you...?"

Charles grabs Seb's hand then, gives it a squeeze. Seb trails off, just looking at Charles, the hint of a smile playing around the corners of his mouth. Maybe they kiss, maybe they don't, but this really won't be the last time they're there and both of them know it.

Happy Salloween, everyone. I'm gonna share last Halloween with you guys, my Halloween with Sally 💖. I know it was yesterday, but Tumblr pulled a mean trick and eat the whole post as a treat. I hope you guys like it.

Baby, You're a Haunted House (Gerard Way)

The sun was coming up as we left the 24 hour diner we'd stopped at before making the final part of our trip. Twenty more miles until Alton, Illinois. We were exhausted and ready for bed, worn out from the long drive.

2020 was hard on everyone, and Sally and I were not exempt. We were starting to go a little stir crazy. The lockdown schedule of home, work, home, work, grocery store, home was getting to us, especially adventurous Sally. So he'd pulled a lot of strings where we both worked and got us a three day Halloween weekend.

For that weekend, Sally had planned a "romantic weekend getaway in America's Most Haunted City, Alton, Illinois", his words exactly. So we'd packed a few days worth of clothes, some of Sally's ghost hunting gear, and a few other things and hit the road after taking Punky and Olivia to stay with our friend, Crow, Thursday night after work.

I'd been on several ghost hunts with Sally, all local places in the state, or places reportedly haunted but with no proof, abandoned houses, hospitals, and factories. He always, without fail, managed to scare me, and I'm not one to scare easily, always looking for hard evidence. Proof was easy for Sally to supply when it came to the paranormal. He'd brought his collection of ghost hunting gear from his reality and added to it, buying new tech online and working on things with Todd over the phone. In fact, they'd just finished something just Wednesday night.

Sally got in the driver's seat, I was feeling pretty groggy, having taken on the brunt of the driving, switching with Sally for only one hour while I napped. The pancakes, bacon, and eggs with hot chocolate Sally had ordered for us had not helped wake me up. A food coma was coming for both of us when we got to the hotel, especially since we were going to smoke once we got closer. Sally already had the joint sticking out from behind his ear under his backwards cap.

Sally had spent a large amount of money booking an all access weekend stay at Mysterious Mineral Springs Hotel. It was easily one of the most haunted locations in Alton, home to numerous mysterious deaths and suicides, both adults and children. We were both intrigued, but Sally was practically bursting at the seams, despite his tiredness. I'd made him promise that we would sleep until at least two before we got started exploring, both of us needing the rest.

Sally's hand found my thigh, giving it a squeeze before returning to the wheel. He was a very careful driver, my Sally, anxiety high because the fact that he had one eye meant he couldn't perceive depth very well. I put my hand on his thigh instead, blinking sleepily ahead through the front windshield.

"Are you excited?" Sally asked, trying to keep both of us awake. Music wouldn't do it anymore. Sally had filled our lives with music, something always playing from indie rock in the morning to lofi while we slept, and all the metal and 90's rock you could take in between. Even now, a metal remake of Radar Love was finishing up on one of Sal's infinite Spotify playlists.

"You know I am, Salamander" I yawned, "Just gotta catch some sleep first, and then we can see" I yawned again, wider this time, "all the ghost Alton can throw at us."

Sally laughed, quickly handing me the joint and lighter as he took the exit ramp for Alton, "Fair enough, peaches. We'll check in and get some rest."

He followed the GPS as we smoked with the windows down and it saw us to the grand, old hotel in a few minutes. We finished smoking after parking around the side, facing the hotels limestone wall, embedded into a hill. We walked around to the entrance, looking up at the indeed mysterious hotel. As before mentioned, the multiple story hotel was built into a hill, its limestone walls off white with age. Recent restoration however had made it so the front of the hotel was faced in red brick with white wooden balconies. Technically the hotel was now a tourist location, museum, and mall. But for a certain price, you could spend the weekend there, with access to almost every area, the abandoned parts cordoned off. It was gorgeous, but I was exhausted, Sally took, and we promised to appreciate the hotels beauty later, after some sleep. We walked straight to the check in counter and Sally got our key. Then we headed up to the third floor to our room: The Jasmine Room.

Upon seeing the bed, we both abandoned our bags on the marble floor, and after making sure the door was locked, with an old fashioned key, we crawled under the blankets, still fully clothed and slept.

When I woke up, Sally was coming in the door, carrying a bag. I sat up and stretched, smiling at Sally as he sat the bag on the dresser across from the bed and started unpacking it. I got out of bed and passed across the decorative rug to join him and see what he'd brought as he took off his prosthetic.

"They have a complimentary snack room! So I brought some munchies up" Sally said, pulling out chips, cookies, candy, crackers, jerky, fruit, cupcakes, basically any prepackaged snack you can think of. "And I got you a chocolate milk now, and some water, juice and soda for later." He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss, "Good afternoon" and then he set about dividing the drinks between the mini fridge and his gear bag after handing me the milk.

Now that I was rested, I could appreciate the beautiful, old fashioned hotel room. It only had minimal modern technology, a phone, mini fridge, no television. Light blue Oriental rugs that matched the paint on the walls covered white marble floors. Light wood dressers with a white painted wrought iron full size bed. Decorative glass lamps that filled the room with soft yellow light, the window covered by blue damask drapes. I noticed a placard on the wall next to the door and I walked over to it. Sally joined me as I read it aloud:

"'The Jasmine Room's most notable guest, The Jasmine Lady, stayed here in the 1920's. She came to The Mineral Springs Hotel to meet her lover and the affair was discovered by her husband. She was either pushed, or fell down the stairs outside this room where she tumbled to her death at the bottom. People claim to smell her jasmine perfume in the halls, earning her name.' Spooky." I looked at Sally, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Sally grinned and pulled his GearBoy out of his hoodie pocket, "I've already been poking around. There's a man named Clarence Blair in one of the pools. Poor guy drowned at swimming lessons."

"Let me shower and get dressed first!" I said excitedly, going to my bag and pulling out some clothes and our toiletry bag, glad I'd packed all black everything so I didn't have to worry about matching. "I feel and smell like car trip."

I showered and dressed in record time and joined Sally in the room proper. He'd already put his prosthetic back on and was waiting. He pushed the button on the GearBoy.

At first, nothing happened, and Sally sighed in disappointment.

"It's okay" I said encouragingly, "we'll try again later. Or she could be on the stairs."

The scent of jasmine flooded the room, coating our tongues and throats, I almost gagged from it. The lights flickered a few times and a scream sounded. A pillar of bones rose from the floor, rearranging into a skeleton in fast forward. I watched as internal organs filled the ribcage and pelvis, quickly followed by a layer of bloody tissue that welled up from the floor like the bones. Black veins covered the gore, followed by pale skin, the body slightly transparent. A green flapper style dress complete with beads and sequins covered the body and long black wavy hair sprouted from the head. Large, cloudy blue eyes opened to look at us from a head that was caved in on one side.

"My heavens! What an eerie Halloween mask" The Jasmine Lady, because there was no doubt who this was due to the jasmine scent still coating my tongue, said with wide eyes.

"It's a prosethtic" I said to her.

The Jasmine Lady had the grace to look embarrassed, "Oh, dear, I'm so sorry, sir."

"It's okay" Sally chuckled, "It is Halloween. And really, I get that all the time. Don't worry about it." He put his arm around me, "I'm Sally, and this is Grace."

The Jasmine Lady extended her hand to shake ours and her hand passed through mine first, leaving it feeling wet and cold. I fought not to recoil as she pulled her hand back, "I'm terribly sorry. You have to understand that this is... Very odd for me. Normally the living can't see us like this. My name is Adrianne. Adrianne Ditmore."

"Nice to meet you, Adrianne. I love your dress, it's beautiful."

Adrianne smiled and smoothed down her emerald green dress, eternally beautiful for a lover she'd never get to hold again, "Thank you. It was Thomas' favorite color." Her smile fell a little making her look forlorn.

"What happened, Adrianne?"

Adrianne frowned, "Charles found out I was meeting Thomas here. He... He stormed in here. He was crazy, increased! We quarreled and ended up at the head of the stairs. I stepped off backwards and almost fell down them, but Charles caught me by the wrist." The ghost looked absolutely sorrowful now, "But he just told me goodbye and then let me go. He even gave me a little push when I started to get my balance back." Adrianne sniffled. "Bastard."

I picked up Ash's old Polaroid camera from Sal's gear bag, "I'm so sorry Adrianne. I wish we could make it right."

"It's alright, doll" Adrianne said, "He's surely dead now too. There's nothing more to do." She gestured at the camera, "Would you like to take my picture? I'll stand still for this one, since we're aquainted."

"If you don't mind" I said, "I understand it's not exactly comfortable for you guys."

Adrianne smiled like she thought I was being silly, "I'm pretty used to it now. I'm kind of a celebrity around here."

"True... Thank you, Adrianne."

"It's been nice talking to you. Maybe you could make some time for us later this weekend?"

"I'm sure I can find the time" Adrianne said as she straightened her posture and posed so her head wound showed in all its gory glory. She smiled a secret smile as if she knew all the answers to the universe. And maybe she did. I snapped the picture and Adrianne dissipated, the process of her manifestation reversing as she sank into the floor. I laid the picture on the desk to develop.

Our day continued like that, Sally and I exploring the hotel and using the GearBoy in trigger spots. Sally took me to the pool and introduced me to Clarence Blair. He had dove into seven feet of water and hit his head on the bottom and drowned. We found a little girl named Cassie Mason in the second pool area. She had been running poolside and slipped. The second pool was bragged to be the biggest in the state in 1914. Another little girl, Thomasina, was in the lobby and she asked us to play a game called "Pop the Potato with the Pebble" which involved her declaring items on tables and desks in the lobby as "the potato" and then we would try knocking it over with marbles from a decorative water plant nearby. I put some of the marbles in my pocket, thinking I might be able to use them later.

Of course, we visited the shops and attractions one the ground and first floors, as well as the Torture Museum on the second floor, always romantic. We took a leisurely stroll through it, marveling at the barbarianism and cruelty of the human race. We'd heard a man shot himself in the bar during the Great Depression, but couldn't get him to manifest.

Because we lost track of time, we ordered a pizza and Sally ran downstairs to pick it up when it was delivered. We ate and then set back out into the hotel, anxious to see what we would find at night. Before I knew it, Sally found the abandoned area, the only place we weren't supposed to go, as the wing was in extreme disrepair.

My heart jumped in my chest, this could be my chance to get Sally back for all those jumpscares. I followed him as he passed under the thick velvet ropes that cordoned off the area. The hall was, indeed in disrepair, wallpaper falling and hanging in strips, the musty scent of mold in the air, and there was no power. We only had the glow of the GearBoy and the faint moonlight filtering in from windows in random rooms that had no door or were just open. We found a spirit in a room wearing a brown tattered dress who only whispered the name "Molly" before she melted into the ground, seeming afraid, which worried Sally.

We continued on to another room with Sally concentrating on the GearBoy's screen. I took his distraction as a chance to slip away and out of the room silently, on his blind side. I found a deep alcove diagonally from the doorway and backed into it, letting the shadows cover me.

"Hm" Sally said from inside the room, "Nothing in here. Do you want to keep going, Grace?"

When I didn't answer, I heard Sally turn around, "Grace?"

I quietly pulled a marble from my pocket and threw it into the room next to the one Sal was in.

"Grace, did you go into the next room?" I listened as Sally came out and went after the sound. I smiled as I tiptoed behind him, following his path exactly, glad the black clothes helped me become one with the shadows.

After I got into the room, I threw another marble into the left back corner and Sally followed it. I took the opportunity to get behind him, using his blind side so I wouldn't be seen. I tossed another marble towards the doorway.

"Grace? Seriously, I'm starting to worry." Sally said, anxiety betraying his words. He was scared, about to panic.

I snuck up behind him and grabbed his shoulders and Sally let out a loud, long yell as he spun around. In the green glow of the GearBoy I saw Sally looking down at me with a shaken expression. A moment passed and he started laughing, wiping away tears that were forming in his eyes. "Okay, you got me. Guess that's what I get for all those times I scared you, huh?"

I leaned up and kissed him, "Exactly, so just remember, you might be able to scare me, but I'll always get my revenge."

Ferrari Confirms the Ferrari Challenge UK 2021 Season

Ferrari North Europe has confirmed that the Ferrari Challenge UK 2021 season will start at Brands Hatch on 14-16 May as originally planned. The racing activities will take place on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit on 14 & 15 May, and on the fabled Brand Hatch F1 GP circuit on Sunday 16 May as in 2020.

Further races take place throughout the year at Donington, Snetterton, and Oulton Park, with the event at Silverstone also being a Ferrari Racing Days event, with additional on-track action from the F1 Clienti and XX Programme. All events are also complimented by the Pirelli Ferrari formula classic racing series, organized and managed by the Ferrari Owners Club GB, one of the oldest Ferrari Owners clubs in the world.

The Ferrari Challenge UK is now in its 3rd year, and it remains the brand’s only racing series dedicated to a single market. New for the UK series in 2021 is the Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO which features an increase in the car’s overall performance and consistency in race conditions, as well as improved handling for even better feedback and driving pleasure. This is the only car eligible for the 2021 season.

Also new for 2021 is the option of drivers entering a single race at any race weekend, rather than only being able to enter for the full season. This provides added flexibility and makes the Ferrari Challenge UK more accessible for clients who want to race at specific circuits, or who cannot commit to the full season. Ferrari North Europe is also offering a special package for drivers who choose to enter the first round at Brands Hatch in May, and who then upgrade their participation to a full-season entry. Clients interested in these new packages should contact their official Ferrari dealer for further details.
