say hi to indigo! indigo is an energetic tortoiseshell cat who’s a snugglebug and loves to play! they’ll run around and jump and climb, then pull a 180 and sleep cuddled up with friends for hours. indigo is brave and always ready to face something new! they adore their friends and are very loyal to them.

indigo's pallet is based off of the bi flag and their alt theme is mixed berries!! I really enjoy how their design turned out and I hope you like it!!

The Cats of ShadowClan: Russetflash

Name: Russetflash, Red

Meaning: Deep Russet and Bold

Identity: Cisgender Molly - She/Her

Orientation: Bisexual - No Leaning

A dark ginger tabby molly with a medium length coat, fluffy soft fur and soft pink ears. Russetflash has long, feathery whiskers and sharp green eyes that seem to catch everything. She’s accumulated a collection of thin scars only felt beneath her coat from retaliating against every cat who’ve ever harassed her for her pink ears and nose. Technically Russetflash is a tortie, but this is only visible on her summer coat as usually the orange of her fur covers the black patches.

Born as Red to her mother, Herald in a travelling band of loners, Russetflash had always looked for more stable landings and detested moving day. When it became clear that she would never grow to like roaming as much as the rest of the band, Herald took the initiative of bringing Red to the clans approaching via the ShadowClan border. They arrived just in time to catch ShadowClan driving off a band of poachers and returning triumphantly to their clan. Impressed with their mercy and honor, Red agreed to join ShadowClan.

Cedarstar accepted her, apprenticing her to Featherstorm and it’s no exaggeration to say that she worked herself sick on multiple occasions to prove her worth to the clan. Never afraid to stand up for herself, the newly named Russetpaw wouldn’t hesitate to respond to every sneer of “pink paws” with unsheathed claws and teeth. 

Bravely fending off what ShadowClan considered was a truly massive water snake while rescuing a fellow clanmate had her named Russetflash for her bold and outgoing demeanor.

She detested what Brokenstar was making the clan but felt like it wasn’t her place to criticize ShadowClan’s leader as a former outsider. Just because her clanmates have accepted her as a noble and fierce warrior of their clan, didn’t mean they wouldn’t drive her out if she was willing to break the code and question her leader. Russetflash killed her first cat during the WindClan massacre and to this day remembers the look of horror on the face of one of the retreating pregnant mollies. She can’t get the image out of her head.

As soon as it was allowed, she swapped to being a hunter and never looked back.
