It was an absolute honour and a blast to be invited back to dine with @masalatheory two years since we last visited and it first opened. These guys make Indian food super funky and somewhat hipster and their entire venue is a mural to bright bright Bollywood. They have a new menu and we tried so many dishes it was cray!! Pictured dishes will follow but I need to scream from a mountaintop INDIAN POUTINE!!! Changed my life!! Dishes were....... ✅ Poutine Reinvented - French fries, ruby sauce, cheesy garlic curry aioli topped with banana pepper (first 2 pics) ✅ Chicken Curry Bombs (a twist on Gol Gala) - this is one of their signature dishes and MUST be ordered every visit haha (2 pics) ✅ Bhakti Puri - puffed rice and vermicelli tossed with pomegranate, tomatoes, potatoes, onion, lime, tamarind and mint ✅ Masala Fish and Chips ✅ Garlic Butter Tandoor Prawns Splash - king prawns with salmon roe, garlic butter, fennel salad and cherry tomato with native tandoori spices ✅ Deconstructed Motichoor Ladoo - sweet chickpea flor globules topped with rabid and cinnamon ice-cream ✅ Indian Lavender and Honey Ice-Cream . . . . . #masalatheory #indianfood #indianrestaurant #foodblogger #spooninginvited #sydneyfoodphotography #sudneyfoodphotographer #foodphotography #foodphotographer #surryhillseats #sydneyfood #sydneyfoodies #indiancuisine #zomato #zomatosyd #zomatoindia #agfg #indianfoodinsydney #poutine (at Masala Theory) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxT7MlEH215/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=i110pisgy08j

I had a great review dinner a few weeks back at @samarkhandrestaurant in St Ives with good friend, now hand model, @intensive.claire . This place was a cute family run traditional menu suburban Indian venue. We had a blast and everything was super tasty. As I’m basically half Indian now from my Indian clients I am a good authority on good Indian food - so trust me, if you’re in the area check them out. . . . . . #samarkhandindianrestaurant #indianfood #indianrestaurant #foodblogger #handsinframe #spooninginvited #sydneyfoodphotography #sudneyfoodphotographer #foodphotography #foodphotographer #stives #sydneyfood #sydneyfoodies #handsimframe #menwithcuisines #indiancuisine #zomato #zomatosyd #zomatoindia #agfg #indianfoodinsydney (at Samarkhand Indian Restaurant) https://www.instagram.com/p/BvQiKslHvKl/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=3x1jbko90kt0
