Here's me enjoying the #lava flow. My brother took the family out a few days ago to yeoor. We parked at top of the village and he led us on this 5 minute trek up to this spot. Whilst the meadow and wind and view and greenery was nice, I realised on walking to the edge of these rocks that this was actually cooled down lava in motion that had carved it's path. It's perhaps millions of years old but stuck as is. Frozen in time. The visible part is approximately 15m wide and 5deep off the edge. Blocks cracked as the cooling down happened. The black is the black of singed overburned charcoal and metal. A beautiful black. Against some less singed grey. The gold of the earth. And the mint green of the foliage. I placed myself in the setting.
