ROYAL SHORT INCA TRAIL to Machu Picchu in 2 days
This itinerary is rated moderate and should only be undertaken by people who are fairly fit and take regular exercise. The trek starts at 2100m (KM 104) and climbs to 2700m (Wi帽ay Wayna) before descending to 2400m (Machu Picchu). Since the trek is carried out at a much lower altitude than the Short 2 day Inca Trail trek you do not need to worry about acclimatisation as much, although many people still find themselves short of breath when arriving at Wi帽ay Wayna so this trek should certainly not be considered an easy option.

The last group we received in #december decided to take the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, where they discovered the magnificence of the trail that leads directly to the citadel of Machu Picchu, located above 2400 meters. An easy 6-hour hike that amazed all who took it, exceeding their expectations.

Tour: 2 day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
The trek starts at Km 104 (104 kilometers along the railway from Cusco) and involves a four hour walk uphill to Wi帽ay Wayna and a couple of hours further to Machu Picchu making it ideal for trekkers wanting to experience at least a part of the Inca Trail but haven't got the time (or energy) to complete the full 4 day trek.

An incredibly fantastic memorable experience!
It has been an absolutely incredible and fantastic experience. An experience that I recommend everyone to do. It was wonderful to walk along the mountains and in God's amazing creation, which led us to Machu Picchu. My friends and I were honored to have an amazing guide with us, Percy. He was very safe to have with him, very calm, nice, kind and genuine. If we were missing something, or something broke, he had a solution and materials for it. He was very keen that we should have the best experience, such as that we should take it at our own pace, let us know if we wanted to stop and take photos, etc. Percy was very knowledgeable and told the facts with great passion, which made it more exciting to listen to. An incredible memorable experience!

A fantastic and affordable experience led by a knowledgeable and passionate guide who made the experience the best!
The trip was absolutely magical! 100% worth the money! Everything from the briefing before departure to the last lunch with our guide Pircey has been gold! The Inca trail you walk on offers incredible views, a nice waterfall and adventurous paths, lots of ups and downs. Walking on the trail with the goal of macchu picchu is something you could have done all day long. Also highly recommend our guide Pircey, don't think our experience would have been anywhere near what it was if it wasn't for Pircey. Felt good right from the start, a genuine, happy, extremely passionate, funny and lovely guide. The knowledge he sat on and told passionately about gave so much to the experience and you always felt in safe hands. You got so much more than a perfect guide, you also got a friend!
