Au where Tachibana survives and moves down to Okinawa with Makoto after the whole ordeal is over. Eventually when Kiryu moves there with Haruka he gets reunites with both of them. Tachibana helps him get the orphanage set up and Makoto ends up working with him, Tachibana also helps out with the kids from time to time. He doesn't officially work with them, just hanging out with the family whenever he's got free time.
