Republic scores 22 more adds on Marshmello's "Here With Me" f/Chvrches(Joytme/Glassnote).  In2une puts up another 20 adds on Lauv & Troye Sivan's "im so tired" (Capitol-AWAL). Crush Music adds 15 stations to Panic! At The Disco's "Hey Look Ma, I Made It." Capitol pulls in 14 adds on City Girls' "Twerk" f/Cardi B (QC/Motown). Hi, I have some question and i would like to know if you can help me. Management has to do everything the label wants, right? So Maverick and Roger was hired by the label? Who is responsible for scheduling shows, presentations and promoting the singles? And about Dina Lapolt, do you think the girls hired her by their own or that was the label's decision? 1/2

  I dont understand why people say Dina saved the girls or why they think she's responsible for scheduling gigs for the girls, like Jimmy and VMA; Now people are saying she helped the girls hire an independent team to promote the band, since Epic does not care about the group, would the label allow that? i mean, she's just the legal representative of the girls, right? Why would she be involved in this sort of thing? +   I particularly do not believe she's just wanting to help the girls, I believe she also acts according to the interests of the management and label. So what do you think?

Hi!... Not necessarily. When you become an established artist, your Management actually does your bidding, not the Labels. But, when you are a new, young, and not established artist, yes, the Label pretty much dictates the direction, and Management sets the best course of action to implement the plan.

Faculty, and Jared Paul, (5H’s first Manager) was hired by the Label. They basically came with the contract. But, the girls actually hired Maverick. Roger, I think, was brought on board by the Label to act as Camila’s solo Manager. She actually hired him to be her solo manager. The Labels, from the beginning, had a plan mapped out for the girls, and Faculty, now Maverick, and Roger are implementing that plan.

The management company (Maverick) or Manager (Roger) is  responsible for touring, or hiring companies who can do it for them. The Labels are responsible for presenting and promoting the music. 5H hired Dina LaPolt.

Dina negotiated the Trademark deal, negotiated the hire of Maverick. She negotiates contracts. She does not schedule gigs or TV appearances. She did not hire In2une Music to promote the band. Epic hired them. Epic is making some changes, and had to hire other companies to come in and help until they can get their shit in order. Dina is following the plan. She is just the face they are using for the narrative, that the girls have more freedom now to make their own music. Once the girls’ contract is up, then she can actually advocate more freely on the girls’ behalf.
