what do you draw on? im also trying to draw again after not drawing for many months, and i was frustrated when nothing looked right. so i bought a $1 unlined notepad and i doodle there instead of my nicer sketchbook, and things look better? bc i’m not worried about wasting my nice paper. i wanted to share the tip! sorry if it’s not useful, and good luck!!!!

yeah, i feel like thats part of it too, like id hate wasting paper and then i try TOO hard (if that makes sense?) and then get frustrated bc ugh. so ill def keep an eye out for a cheap notepad or sth like that next time im in the city! thanks for the tip
