i want an aesthetic bedroom when i move out, and i've already started vaguely planning, but i don't think anything i currently own would match my vision. and i can't get rid of most of it bc i really like it and/or use it

#namely my posters/banners/tapestries #and my computer and skateboards and skate decks #and also the way i dress half the time would clash with the aesthetic i want #tbh i've mostly considered the walls thus far but #i want to put like an accent on one wall of like rainbow strips straight up and down #pretty saturated but not neon think the polaroid stripes #and not like spanning the whole wall maybe 3 feet-ish?#and then the wall behind my bed i want to paint black and put a bunch of glow in the dark stars or even just paint stars or maybe both #or maybe glow in the dark paint?#i'd probably do paintable peel and stick wallpaper since i'd be renting #i also have grand ideas for my kitchen and bathroom but if i get a room mate idk if theyd go for it #basically i want a bright colored but not tacky kitchen in either monochromatic yellow monochromatic blue or the primary colors #for the kitchen #oh or i was thinking a garfield themed kitchen #but i could do a garfield themed living room #the bathrooms a bit simpler and a bit corny #i want to put up a bunch of religious stuff so that every crap you take is a holy crap #in the end commonspace design should always be compromise or cooperation #i know one of my friends mentioned possibly rooming together so i could ask what they think #i'm also sure they'll see this bc they are regularly one of the only people to interact with my posts #so if you do see this jay let me know so i dont have to type this all out again ADKGLSHFKA
