Five Nights at Freddy's Crossover? Yata works a lot of part time jobs doesn't he, so maybe he gets desperate enough to take on the night watch at this kiddie restaurant and it's all fine and good until the animatronics start moving and trying to get into the office. No one believes him that the animatronics are trying to kill him and he really doesn't have the money or legal team to protect him from Fazbear Entertainment if he damages the robots. What does he do now?
Honestly my initial thought was 'Yata freaks out, destroys the animatronics on accident, Kusanagi has to pay for the damages and Yata ends up having to work at the bar indefinitely in order to pay him back' XD Poor Yata, this won't go well for him. So say Yata's looking for a another part time job and he spots this help wanted ad online for a night shift at a kiddie restaurant. Yata figures hey this will be easy, like he's not afraid of the dark and besides it's a kid's pizza place, what could possibly go wrong? When he walks in for his first shift the manager leads him to the security room where he can keep an eye on everything, as Yata's walking he looks around and sees the animatronics. Yata mutters that those look awfully creepy for a kid's restaurant, the manager chuckles and says don't worry they're just robots after all. Yata's like yeah I know, it's not like they're alive and the manager just gives him this smile that makes Yata feel a little nervous for some reason. He blows it off and settles himself in the security room as the manager's like 'good luck,' Yata's all '...wait didn't he mean good night?'
So Yata sits there clicking idly through the security screens, thinking this is pretty boring and next shift he should bring his game system along. Suddenly he notices that there's something moving in one of the hallways, Yata tries to see what it is but all he can make out is this oddly moving shadow. Yata's all on edge, wondering if it's a robber, and that's when he notices that one of the animatronics isn't in its proper place. Yata's starting to feel a little nervous, like something weird is going on, and that's when he notices that there's this light blinking on the phone next to him, someone's left a message there. Yata clicks on it to listen and as he's flipping through cameras he hears the message left behind by his predecessor, warning him that the animatronics are alive and will kill anyone they catch after hours, their bodies possessed by the spirits of the dead. As the message goes on Yata keeps spotting flashes on the camera of things moving, a glimpse of an arm or an animatronic head and he's just slowly getting more and more freaked out. Suddenly there's a pounding on the door of the room and Yata's like on the floor clutching his flashlight all no way no way, just having a total freakout. The alarm beside him buzzes, it's six am and his shift is done. The lights come on and the manager buzzes at the door asking to be let in, Yata pokes his head out of the office like 'eh?' because there's nothing there...nothing except a mark on the door where something may have been trying to get in.
Of course Yata's initially like fuck this I'm out but he's told that if he doesn't work his entire five day shift he won't get paid. Yata needs that money for rent so he can't quit, but when he accuses the manager of trying to kill him the guy's like I have no idea what you're talking about. Yata starts talking about the animatronics and the manager treats him like a crazy person, telling him that if he breaks anything he'll have to pay to get it fixed and those animatronics are antiques and expensive. Yata's at a loss, he tries telling everyone in Homra what happened but no one there will believe him either. The Homra alphabet just act like he's making things up and even Kusanagi says sometimes in the dark your mind plays tricks on you. Yata's like well maybe he's right but then the next night he has to dodge the animatronics again and Yata is certain that this isn't his mind, the robots are definitely trying to kill him.
Maybe Yata ends up bringing Fushimi into this in the end, like he initially tells Fushimi too and Fushimi teases him over it like really you're afraid of kids' animatronics Misaki. Yata's like fuck you they really are alive, why doesn't anyone believe me. Fushimi's like it's because you're a chicken and Yata feels all down because no one trusts him and he's probably going to get eaten by animatronics. But then that evening when he shows up for his shift Fushimi appears at the door right after the manager leaves, telling Yata to let him in. Yata's all confused like wait Saruhiko what are you doing here, Fushimi heads into the security room with him while explaining that Fushimi did some research into this place. It turns out that there's been a rash of missing persons cases that have been covered up by the owners. On top of that, a murder did occur there years ago and strange things have been happening since. Yata's like I knew something was fishy and that's when the lights go out. Fushimi starts to draw his sword and Yata's like wait you can't do that I'll get fined if I destroy these things. Fushimi clicks his tongue, annoyed as he goes to the cameras and starts typing furiously. Yata wonders what he's doing and Fushimi says he'll track the movements of the animatronics so that Yata can go out and disable them. Yata's still worried about being fined and Fushimi says Yata doesn't need to destroy them, just get them in one place and then Fushimi can use the security controls to lock the doors and keep the animatronics trapped until the end of the night. Yata looks at him wide-eyed and then grins, this feels like old times all of a sudden and he's ready to take these monsters out together.
