The fact that the possibility of it happening is in the air, in 2023-2024, after ToTK, and in the midst of Avi Arad producing a Zelda MOVIE, is terrifying. I hope the next direct doesn't have a trailer for an OoT remake, because if it does that would be a double sided sword

honestly i’m prepared to be unhappy with any forthcoming developments i’m just numb to it now. if they decide to remake one of the most beloved video games in history and do a bad job at it then at least we won’t be like ‘Ohh my god i’m so shocked it’s bad..omg who knew they would do…a bad remake’ like what else is there to expect from. shigeru ‘coproduces film adaptation about divine right empire with a hollywood zionist who fought in six days war’ miyamoto. and aonuma, who has literally been wanting to work on things other than zelda for years now. ofc on the off chance that’s it’s mostly just a visual remake/piggybacking off of the old 3ds remake, and not specifically attempting to do any weird lore revisionism, then like, that would. probably be fine maybe
