i havent met the wee lad yet but apparently he’s very sweet and less of a handful than lola was but. that breed mix... fear...
#husky And pit And chow chow And beagle? demon dog#itll be interesting to see if his personality changes much as he grows up#he apparently is v smart and good w training tho#he know sit and paw and stay (even if u turn ur back when u walk away!) and twirl#but is still working on down lol#.txt#to be clear theres nothing wrong w those breeds i Luv pits#they just sound like a lot in combination (on paper)#and my parents are hitting their 60s and wanted a calmer dog for their last dog lol#my dads guidelines for getting a new dog after harry were:#1. a puppy or if not a puppy an Adult dog with a set temperment who was good w other dogs#(harry was a year so still a handful and needed a ton of training but had already missed the crucial socialization window n had bad habits)#2. a female and 3. not soon bc he wanted to wait before a new dog and wanted house reno to be done#cash is . a puppy but is decidedly a boy and was adopted 1.5 months after we put harry down#my dad has been a good sport about it he loves cash and wants to train him to jump thru hula hoops#so they can attach flame decals bc. johnny cash ring of fire#in my mums defense she hates not having a dog and w tris moving out and me n my sister already moved out#+my dad traveling for work after covid she didnt want to be lonely :(
