Lalo and Nacho going to South France
Lalo renting a nice house on the periphery of a little old town. It’s not too big, but the property itself is of a decent size with a garden all around it, a gigantic fig tree in a corner, a large patio half hidden under various kinds of trees and rose bushes, a pool, and a stunning view on the old town, all sand colored houses and church at the highest point, lavender and vineyards plantations among the rest of the nature left wild, some swallows flying often over their heads, singing as they rush by, a constant cicadas noise in the background.
They take their meals on the patio, trying the local food they got at a market not far, goat cheese, saucisson, apricots, honey, and some figs plucked right from the tree in the garden. Lalo enjoys the dried meat the most, meanwhile Nacho devours far too many apricots.
They go visit the old towns scattered around the area. Most of them are so isolated from bigger cities, the streets are calm, local people mostly staying inside their house when the heat is at its highest. Lalo and Nacho are used to the heat, so it doesn’t bother them much. The old towns have a charm that seduce them both. The old stones seems filled with history. There are a lot of tiny streets with arches and flower plants that are a delight for the eyes. Lalo can’t resist to take pictures of Nacho as the man wanders the old streets. They stop by the fountains to just sit there, taking in the mood of the places, the water proximity making the air less hot. The romanticism of it all make them hold hands often as they visit, hugging as they take in the views in the highest towns.
They go hiking in the hills and little mountains, narrow paths snaking into the wilderness, revealing some ruins in the old roman sites. They enjoy the view points at the top of the reliefs, the wind catching in their clothes, the warm wind barely helping cooling their sweaty bodies. They take selfies with the distant mountains behind them.
One afternoon they go down in a valley, looking for an unoccupied spot near the water current. They find one in the curve of the river, the banks is a bit rocky but they don’t mind. It’s a bit of a sport session to reach the bank, but it’s worth it. They spend hours there, diving in the water, playing, kissing, touching each other in the semi private place, lounge under the sun after massaging sunscreen on each other, reading their respective books in comfortable silence, the cicadas and water the only noise accompanying them, eating little snacks and drinking beers from the cooler Lalo brought with them.
They spend most morning being lazy in bed, and the nights looking up at the stars.
#in my head they are in the Drome area if you want to check#very much inspired by my trips in south france almost every years#i love the mood there and i can picture them here so easily#anyway I’m soft for them i want them happy and enjoying life together#my babies 💕#lacho#lacho fanfic#bcs#text post

Caught
‘He should have been here by now,’ Kaz thought as he shifted nervously on the balls of his taloned feet. ‘H’Earring’s never late.’ His eyes darted around the dark corridor of the passageway, ears perked and twitching at the slightest noises and hoping they meant the small spy was coming.
He folded his arms and drummed his clawed fingertips, anxiety climbing by the second. There was no tell-tale flicker of candlelight, no skittering or grunting that he was familiar with.
Only silence.
‘Fuck this.’
He didn’t like being alone in the tunnels of the UnderWorld’s palace, especially when they were this dark. ‘Probably eating something or fell asleep,’ the Player tried to calm his nerves. ‘Yeah, he’s just napping or something. He’s okay. Just go and check on him.’
Taking a breath, the boy uncurled himself and made to find one of the hidden exits that led to the smaller Creature’s home. One was nearby, he just knew it, but he couldn’t remember which one.
He walked along in the dark, claws clicking against the warm stones underfoot as he lightly dragged a hand across a wall in hopes to catch one of the discreet doorways inset into the rock.
Click.
Kaz paused, eyes unable to see much in the dark. He squinted, but his efforts revealed nothing.
A hand went to the pocket he held his Scanner in.
Click.
His head whipped around, accidentally scraping one of his own small horns against the wall and he hissed in discomfort. This noise had come from the opposite direction, though it had been just as distant.
A deep growl came from directly behind him then, and warm breath smelling of cinders blew over his head.
Despite the heat from the gust, his insides turned to ice.
He bolted forwards on instinct, stumbling in the corridor before slipping and ending up running on all fours. A crashing roar thundered behind him, and the tunnel shook with anger.
It sounded like a freight train was chasing him.
He turned, smacking into a wall he hadn’t seen, and lost momentum as he tumbled to the ground in a daze. Before he could get up, a massive hand clamped down on his back and pressed a nerve at the base of his tail.
He felt himself go limp on reflex.
‘Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck-’ his mind raced on repeat.
The grip on him shifted and he felt himself being picked up. Lumbering steps and agitated growls punctuated the air of the corridor, until suddenly light filtered in over the floor.
A door.
The door was kicked open and Kaz found himself momentarily blinded. He blinked, but before he knew where he was, he was roughly tossed onto the floor.
With a small gasp and ringing head, he rolled over onto his side, and recognized the throne room of the palace.
“So you’re the one whose been hiding in my walls.”
Kaz felt his heart stop. He knew that voice, he’d even used it himself.
He turned towards the direction to see if he was right.
The Dromes never did the Creatures in their full glory, they were rough approximations at best.
This was no different.
Chaor absolutely loomed over him, eying him with apathy. His hide a glittering red, though soot and ash had stained the areas around his mouth and hands. Thick scales and spikes gave his form a wicked edge, and his tail was far more like a thorned whip than one expected.
It was as if the world had made a monster to keep the other ones at bay.
“Well?” The King’s eyes burned, “are you going to say anything?”
Kaz wanted to scream, but he couldn’t find his voice. Instead, a pitiful keening noise escaped his throat.
“You’re right to be terrified,” the UnderWorlder stepped over, and with a single hand, picked him up by his torso.
The boy had never felt so small.
A slam and a shriek caught the large Creature’s attention, and he snorted in amusement at the sight of Takinom entering the room, dragging H’Earring by one of his ankles.
“You caught him,” she smirked as the spy started screaming incoherently in Perimian. She lazily let him go and he scampered over to the middle of the floor.
“Stop!” The King bellowed, and it felt like time itself stood still. H’Earring looked mortified, panic etched in every fold of his face he was trembling as he opened his mouth.
“No! None of your groveling!” Chaor snarled, his grip tightening on the boy. Kaz gasped, unable to breathe or move. His own thoughts too frantic, his instincts screaming through the exchange. As the pair of UnderWorlders bickered, something in him snapped.
He jerked suddenly, and bit down on a finger of the hand holding him, his whole body shaking with an unconscious, furious growl.
Everyone went still, then the warriors started laughing.
“So, there’s a little fire in you, after all,” Chaor scrutinized him again. With his other hand, the King pressed a joint at the boy’s jaw, and Kaz’s grip was released. Something heavy and metallic filled the boy’s mouth, and the UnderWorlder hummed.
“You’re the first in solens to draw my blood. Very well, I won’t kill you.” He dropped boy in an unceremonious heap, and he landed on his rump. “Not now, but later.” Chaor looked at the small spy with narrowed eyes, “take him, go. Before I change my mind.”
H’Earring yanked the Player’s arm and pullled him as he got to his feet, hissing at him to go, go, go, go!
As the pair exited the throne room, the doors behind them slammed shut and they stood for a brief moment in the main hall.
“W-what just happened?” Kaz mumbled, numbness finally leaving him. “I just bit the Ruler of the UnderWorld.”
“No, worse than that,” H’Earring sounded like he was about to start crying. “You drew his blood; you effectively just challenged him for his crown.”
Kaz bent over and threw up.
“Welcome to UnderWorld politics,” the spy sighed. “Chaor’s going to want you to live to see the day he either kills you, or you him. And I don’t think your Masters are going to get you out of this one, you just made a blood-pact with the King of the UnderWorld.”

To Save A Droid
(Not my Gif)
Summary: Reader lives on a planet where droids are against the law. Those found harbouring droids are given harsh sentences. What happens when the reader comes across a certain white and orange droid?
Pairing: Poe Dameron x Reader
Warnings: Violence
Masterlist
A loud panicked cry caused your head to snap up from the leaves you were sweeping into a pile. A little orange and white droid sped past.
"What on..."
A moment later a small group of enforcers ran past, yelling to find the droid.
"Who could be so reckless as to have a droid?" You murmured to yourself while gathering the leaves into a trash bag. Curiosity slowly got the better of you as you decided to take the hefty bag to the dumping site at the end of the back street behind your home. You were wary as you made your way there, yes it was only a short walk, but with enforcers in the area, it was best to stay out of their way or face the consequences. Shouts could be heard not too far away as you finally reached the growing pile of trash bags at the far end of the street, piling high against the walls. Just as you were about to add your own bag to the innumerable rest, your gaze caught the movement of several bags shaking.
"Hello?" You whispered. The shaking stopped. Ever so slowly you began to pull back trash bags to find the origin of the shaking. Abruptly a metal appendage was thrust at you, the sound of electricity crackling in the air. You jumped backwards startled and landed on the ground, letting out a cry.
"Woah woah!" You held you hands out in a panic. The drome of a little white and orange droid tilted slightly in question. Hurried footsteps came closer.
"Quick hide!" You stumbled to your feet and began rearranging the trash bags to hide the droid. When the enforcers came into sight, you kept your gaze to the ground.
"Everything alright officers?" You question.
"We heard a shout."
"Oh it was nothing. Just some trash fell unexpectedly. Scared the hell out of me is all."
"Right..." one of them replied sceptically. Another enforcer grasped your chin and forced you to look him in the eyes.
"Officer?" Your toes curled in worry as you spoke, this wasn't good. He regarded your face for a moment before turning back to his colleagues.
"Call him in. We're fucked if that droid gets away!"
"A droid, officer?" You asked mock horrified.
"Yes. Someone has broken the law by bringing a droid here. As a good citizen you know what happens to those who break the law." The officer took several slow steps towards you, his tone mocking.
"Y-yes. They're punished." You replied.
"Severely." The officer growled out.
You made yourself busy, reorganizing the trash and purposely making it fall again so you could waste time until the enforcers left. It took longer than you expected and you sensed they were suspicious of you. Quickly, quietly and carefully you checked the street they left by and waited a few more long seconds before finally revealing the droid again.
"Come with me. Quickly!" You hissed out, beginning to take hurried steps back to your home. The little droid followed, being hushed by you when it emitted anxious beeps. You locked your doors behind you once you'd reached your home.
"What in the galaxy is a droid like you doing here of all places!" You interrogated. The droid gave a vague answer in a series of beeps and whistles.
"You were separated from your master... You need to find him," you sighed exasperated. "I'm sorry little one but there's no chance of you going out there now. They're on high alert looking for you."
The droid emitted a dejected sound and rolled to a corner of the room.
"I... I'll help you find him once they've called off the search. Where did you last see him?" You crouched beside the droid. It gave its answer.
"I...in the city centre?! We'll never get there without being spotted!" You exclaimed. The droid looked up hopefully.
"I want to help but if they see us together I'm a goner. The punishment for being seen with a droid is harsh, being seen helping one is even worse. I should turn you over-"
The droid's taser appendage shot out from its body.
"Woah! I'm not going to! I want to help! I'm going to help!"
The near silence of your home was broken a moment later when loud banging came from your front door. You and the droid both startled. The spyhole in the door revealed a team of enforcers.
"Shit. How did they find you?!" You hissed. You ushered the droid to your back door and looked out to see if there was anyone there. Empty.
"C'mon we've got to go!" You stepped out into the street. As you and the droid began heading down the street, another team of enforcers came into sight ahead of you.
"Shit!" You cursed, spinning on your feet and beginning to run in the opposite direction. You heard the shouting of the enforcers behind you, only just catching the 'they're heading your way'. As you rounded the corner, you came to the realisation that they somehow knew you had the droid to begin with, they were just waiting for the opportune moment, and quite possibly they wanted to see you face...him. You skidded to a stop as you came face to face with the enforcer credited with the capture of several hundred droids. And the cruel execution of those who'd harboured them.
"Run!" You screamed as you fled, the droid hot on your heels, you'd only just managed to dodge the grasp of the enforcer. Somewhere in the distance, your terrified screech reached a man's senses. Knowing that the droid must be there, he withdrew his blaster and ran in the direction of your voice.
The droid pulled ahead of you as your stamina was failing. Fear gripped your heart as you glanced behind you to see the enforcer simply strolling, checking his weapons, his attention not on you. The droid beeped quickly, telling you to keep up. A metal ting echoed in the air as a cylinder bounced ahead of you. You dived towards the droid and pushed it hard, watching in relief as it disappeared from sight. The cylinder burst in a bright light, the heat was scorching and the sound was deafening. You were thrown backwards, your breath was ripped from your lungs as you landed and rolled across the ground. A whimper left your lips as the enforcer stood above you.
"Sad little thing." He mocked. You were hauled to your feet, your head spun as you were held up. Glancing down you saw pieces of shrapnel buried across your body, as your senses slowly returned you could feel blood running down your cheek from your temple. Behind you, you could faintly hear the little droid screeching in panic and fear.
"Run." You tried to call to the droid. The enforcer spun you around and held your jaw to force you to watch as the droid was surrounded and apprehended.
"Was is worth it?" He growled in your ear. Anger flooded you veins. You didn't understand why droids weren't allowed on your planet, you didn't understand why they were hunted down, you didn't understand why so many people had died. You knew that the little droid didn't deserve what was about to happen to it. With what remained of your strength you sent your elbow backwards, forcing it against the enforcers solar plexus. The surprise allowed you to stamp hard on his instep, followed by tossing your head back and connecting it with the man's nose. He let out a cry and dropped you, then with a final kick to his groin you stumbled to your feet and took the opportunity to run to the droid. A few steps were all you managed before the enforcer pinned you to the ground.
"Shit." You hissed.
"You're damn right 'shit'" He hissed as he withdrew a knife that had been strapped to his hip. Immediately he brought it down between your ribs, watching in satisfaction as you cried out in agony. He twisted the knife and watched as you coughed up blood. Your lungs began to fill with blood, making it harder with every passing second to breathe. The knife came down and twisted again and again, roses were blooming across your torso. Your head fell to the side and you watched with your final moments as the little droid escaped the clutches of the enforcers and rolled past you, emitting loud excited beeps and whistles. You hoped the droid got away safely.
The enforcer pinning you down was about to go for the killing blow when he stopped with his arm raised. Your vision swam and began to darken as you looked above the enforcer. A blaster was placed against the man's head.
"Move and its the last thing you'll do." A voice stated with finality. The enforcer growled out, rage in his eyes.
"Let the lady go." The man demanded.
"She broke the law."
The man raised his blaster and with a swift movement, brought the butt of the blaster against the enforcers head.
"Pretty sure murder is against the law too." The man stated as he pushed the collapsed enforcer's body off of yours. The little droid came into your sight, sad beeps emitting from it. With a sad smile you weakly raised your hand and brushed your bloodied fingers against the droids body. The world turned black after that.
An incessant beeping woke you. With a grumble you tried to turn to turn off what you assumed was your alarm clock. As pain shot through your body and a sharp cry escaped your lips, your memory returned to you.
"If this is the afterlife. It sucks." You grumbled as you tried to reposition yourself to minimise the pain. A soft chuckle came from your right.
"This isn't the afterlife." A voice replied. Cracking open an eye, you glanced to see a man sat forward on a chair beside you. A single dark curl had fallen against his forehead.
"Erm..." You couldn't quite find the words.
"Oh, yeah. I'm Poe," he held his hand out, very slowly you reached out and shook his hand. "And the little droid you saved was mine. I owe you one." He beamed.
"Pretty sure we're even," you smiled softly. "You stopped the enforcer from adding another name to his long list of victims."
Poe let a frown grace his lips as he took in your appearance.
"You're pretty banged up."
"And I'm pretty sure I should be dead," you began to cough harshly, pain blossoming in your chest. Poe rushed to you and helped you sit upright. He held out a glass of water and watched you worriedly. Once the coughing subsided you took a small sip. "Thanks. For saving my life." It was then that you took in your surroundings.
"Wh-where am I?" You questioned.
"Ah... short answer, you're in a medbay. They'll have you fixed up in no time!" Poe enthused.
A moment of silence passed between the two of you. It was broken abruptly by the ecstatic beeps, chirps and whistles as the little droid rolled into the room.
"Hey buddy!" Poe grinned, stroking the dome head of the droid. BB-8 looked up at the bed and let out a series of cheery beeps.
"I'm okay Beebee-ate. In pain but I'm alive." You answered the droid. You tried to move again but pain shot through you. The beeping of the monitor grew faster. A medical droid rolled into the room and injected another dose of pain relief into your IV. Poe eased you back down to a laid back position.
"Take it easy. You've been out for a couple days but your injuries are still extensive."
"A-a couple days?" You exclaimed wearily.
"Afraid so."
"What's going to happen to me now?" You wondered. There was no way you could return back home. You'd be murdered on the spot. You didn't have anywhere else to go. Poe took your hand in his and held it tightly.
"We can train you, so you can have a place here. A home here. Somewhere safe where no one can hurt you. I won't let you get hurt like that again, I promise." Poe spoke passionately, his thumb caressing your hand as his grip tightened. You were taken aback by how Poe was speaking, how he meant every word, how much he seemed to care for a stranger. It made your heart leap with how warm his touch was, how gentle it was and how soft but determined his gaze was as it was fixed to your face, trying to gauge your reaction. Poe's gaze went to the monitor as you became vaguely aware that the beeping had become a little erratic.
"Are you okay? Are you in pain again?" Poe fussed.
"I'm fine. Just... surprised with how much you care." You answered honestly.
"You saved Beebee-ate. Risked your life for a droid. Nearly died for it," he paused. "Beebee means a lot to me. If I lost my buddy... I'm not sure what I would do. It means a lot that you went so far to help my friend. I just want to do the same."
You gave Poe a gentle smile.
"I couldn't stand by and do nothing. I couldn't watch an innocent droid be torn apart for no reason."
"I think you'll fit in here just fine." Poe commented with a grin, his hand squeezing yours. BB-8 gave a whistle of agreement. Poe stayed by your side for several long hours. You spent time getting to know each other, you talked about everything and nothing. You found out early on he was quite the charmer, paying you flirtatious remarks and tender smiles. And so began your life with the Resistance, and a life-long friendship with a certain pilot and his droid.
