just got to the episode where after talking to Tory, Miguel goes to apologize to Kreese for challenging him but Kreese is smart enough to praise him for his loyalty and twist it, being like 'we will do what's best for Johnny together' and yea it's so interesting

#cobra kai 2x06 #like i've talked about already. johnny and miguel being besties more than mentor/mentee #where they help each other with different stuff and they're equal. and Miguel being loyal to him out of love rather than admiration.#is something. that in my miguel corruption arc version of the show. would matter more. and I think they kind of drop this later on and try #to actually make it into a dad/son thing but as much as the show tries to make you think that with how Johnny 'is there for miguel but not #robby' it's just not how the dynamic is #in my AU the medal isn't a plot thing and miguel is sneakier because he knows Johnny will disapprove and understands it in a 'he's #confused and means well' kind of way but still feels he's doing him a favor #correction they can be dad/son but like. if the son thinks the dad can't take care of himself and the dad has let him take on that #responsability
