my alternative interpretation why Malleus got Fae of Maleficence as his UM, is that he mainly crafted it to resolve his sleeping crisis lol

Look, he has horns and that makes it nearly impossible to lie down on a bed comfortably, he uses a special pillow yes... but imagine just how restricting that can be lol he has to commit to one sleeping position all the time, maybe there are nights where he just easily falls asleep but there are also times where his body just... wants to lie down on the side but he cant,thats really uncomfortable, so in order to force himself out of that conundrum, he just created his UM so he can just instantly sleep without feeling uncomfortable lol
