I was looking through some old posts and I do think it is pretty weird that a certain subsection of the fandom vehemently hates Ace for taking advantage of Buttercup’s crush on him in order to take over Townsville… when Sedusa pretty much blatantly lured the entire Gangreen Gang in with the promise of eventual sexy times of some sort… which is, at least in my opinion, worse??? 😬 All Ace ever did was basically lure Buttercup in with the promise that she could, like, hang out with him and just be in his general vicinity making googoo eyes at him or whatever. Like how come people aren’t angrier at Sedusa?
