What kind of demons are in Intro demo?

this is something i actually want to talk about more (the name of this vn your introduction to *DEMONOMICS* after all), but a lot of the details for that are spoilers.

i know that’s not the most fun answer, but i’ve been trying to think of ways i can share facts about it without spoiling the story.

i will say this: the original plan for the demo was to have it end with clyde and fennel trying out the book. so, the full first act. only reason why i decided against it was cuz that meant the demo wouldve been 2 hours long and it’s not like you can just…transfer your saved data over the full game. i suppose it doesn’t really matter because the full game will have a bunch of new content so you’ll be getting a new experience, but that was my thought process at the time!

anyways, this clip i’ve shared a loooong time ago takes place at the end of the first act. i’ve rewritten some dialogue in this scene since i posted this but it plays out the same (the name plates were still 'squished' back then!).

a lot of things are revealed to fennel (the demons, more details about the murderer, etc) and he wants to solve all of those problems NOW. RIGHT NOW. sadly no one cares as much as he does. i think this is the point where you feel all of fennel's frustrations - maybe...getting rid of clyde doesn't sound so bad?

the story ramps up from there and that's where all the fun starts………depending on how you played the game up to this point, you can end it ‘early’ without solving the mystery (it’s a secret ending ssshhhh). hopefully that adds a bit more context to this clip!
