This is my writing style at it's core tbh, I LOVE adding in little details like that. imo erotica as a genre has been bastardised and made to seem like something dirty, so I've made it a point to write smut as 'prettily' as I can if ykwim? Grammar and syntax are SO important when it comes to writing sex scenes cause otherwise they lose their intimacy, turning it into like low quality raunchy porn.
