the fact that i wanted to take on writing seriously and try to improve on it, but see others live their short-lived success in their drabbles of 200 - 300 words is so, so draining.

i don't understand. i just don't.

i sympathize and relate to the writers who write long, long fics, the hardwork and time they put into it will never, ever be relatable to a person who hasn't written shit in their life. this is actually getting ridiculous, and its why a lot of writers in this app are dropping like flies.

i may have joined this community incredibly late, but to see those who have stayed here for awhile in this app leave because of this issue and multiple reasons, it's so depressing.

hh this also applies to the people to are invested in reading porn and only, porn. ik some ppl who interact solely because they like the author who gives out written porn towards their faves—shit like, no hate but fuck it is so damn annoying. what about their sfw fics? what about the fics they give out and are happy about it, only to have what, under a 100 notes in constrast to their other fics? my GOD.

“but notes dont matte—” you're right, but many would lie about it, me for example. you're right, it doesn't matter but it does matter to the heart and mind.

“did you like it?” “what're your thoughts on it?” “where is the support?” “where is your enthusiasm?” you mean to tell me 8k+ worth of writing only get a mere double tap from you? ha.

the  above  video  is  me ,  directed  at  the  people  who  act  like  asses  &  hurt  people  over  the  topic  i’m  about  to  discuss.

i  know  that  it’s  pretty  well  known  how  female  characters  are  treated  on  this  site.  female  canon  &  original  characters  alike.  i’m  very  thankful  to  be  someone  who  feels  more  love  for  jackie  than  some  others  are  given.  i’ve  been  on  the  side  of  things  where  you  pull  teeth  to  even  get  interactions.  &  when  i  see  people  i  care  about  –  mutuals ,  friends ,  etc.  who  get  treated  poorly  &  discouraged.  i  feel  like  the  worst  thing  you  can  do  to  someone  is  appreciate  &  clamor  to  interact  with  their  male  muse ,  but  then  ignore  the  existence  of  the  same  person’s  female.  as  someone  who  writes  or  has  written  both ,  this  is  the   worst   thing  you  could  do  to  someone  who  has  a  passion  for  this  hobby.  they  pour  blood ,  sweat ,  tears  into  these  muses  &  i  just …  i  get  very  saddened  to  see  the  way  people  act  on  this  site.

again ,  i’m  very  thankful  to  have  a  lot  of  love  sent  jackie’s  way ,  but  not  everyone  gets  that  &  as  writers ,  we   all   deserve  to  feel  that.  so ,  in  conclusion ,   if  you  can’t  love  someone  at  their  female  muse ,  you  sure  as  fuck  don’t  deserve  them  at  their  male  muse.   &  honestly ,  i’m  ready  to  fight  for  every  single  person  in  my  life  who  feels  this  struggle.  i  love  you  &  i’ll  adopt  your  muses  if  you  want. ♥
