foremost i make them as big as i could before turning them into shapes (the canvas i used was 2500x2500 iirc) which really helps w pixelation esp bc they final output isn't a vector!! also agreed on thickness! if you're going for more decorative ones, i usually use fonts that are on the thicker side as they tend to be more readable from afar. this is esp important to keep in mind bc resizing the final exported shape will be unavoidable since we're not using the same dimensions all the time, and we want them to show up regardless (of size, i.e: 540/268/144px)! aside from that, what i also do is just try to resize them differently as i'm making them just to check if they'll still be readable hehe. otherwise, if it's just plain text it's better to just retain a single size (i.e: a constant font size) based on my experience. this works best w thinner and simpler fonts in my case at least!

as for the coloring, i usually just use white blended as overlay especially if there already are lots of colors in the gif! otherwise, if they aren't visible that way, i use white -> blend it as difference -> double click the shape layer and go to gradient overlay -> choose hard light as the blending mode -> pick colors from the gif to use in the gradient, and that's pretty much it! (sorry i can't include screenshots rn 😭)

ok listen so my relationship with the transformers movies is so so so so so so so so complicated but GOD i'm so excited for this one to come out

initially i was like "they're making ANOTHER one ???!!!" because literally they are all so bad. its like the pirates of the carribbean franchise they just gotta STOP. but the new movie is with a totally new director and producing company (paramount and skydance are collaborating) so i have HOPES.

I did a little research and apparently the new movie (rise of the beasts) is a sequel to the solo bumblebee movie (aka the ONLY transformers movie in my rich inner world) so !!!!!!

it's also technically a prequel to the michael bay bullshit BUT it could potentially be a reboot instead because the characters in the trailer (the gorilla [optimus primal] and other animals) are the current autobots' descendants so it could possibly be an xmen days of future past situation where the past + future characters cause the timeline to reset. in which case the michael bay movies would no longer be canon. bless <3

the designs for all the autobots and maximals (animal robots) also SLAP btw. something about me is that the quickest path to my heart is robots <33333

I really really love the details with the maximals because !! its hard to see because of the low quality but they have actual fur and skin in a few places !!! because the maximals are the future descendants of the autobots, they're much more advanced, and they're a mix of robotic and organic and honestly it's SUCH a cool detail

and optimus prime's faceplate <333 it's soooooo <3333333333 like i said in my earlier post I didn't initially like optimus' design because it felt. boxier and clunkier than his designs in the michael bay movies but tbh it's grown on me!! it resembles some of his earlier more original designs which is a nice touch, and plus I'm not one to bitch about any robot design that fucks severely.

note ; while i wasn't sure how to properly tw it, please be warned there is talk of not caring about health / well-being of self. s/o KINDA has personality but it's just mostly like. being stubborn.

-You scare the 4 of them. Like on one hand oh cool they don't have to worry about you dropping dead as much but on the other hand. are you ok??? bestie?? even though they know logically you'll be fine they still flinch whenever a lucky agent manages to lodge a knife in your gut or gets a well-placed shot. it especially doesn't help if you're nonchalant about it.

-hank is probably the most outwardly calm about it since he's kinda the same way, he's got his ass handed to him on more than one occasion and yet he's still alive and kicking. they still refuse to let you knowingly do anything that would put you in too much danger, even if you come out fine it's still. bad. they don't know how to explain it (so, most times they simply don't. it's hard to not listen to them with their height and general intimidation no matter what little explanation or reason they give) very well, they just can't help this weird writhing and aching sort of feeling they get at the thought of you being seriously hurt, it's even worse if the thought of you not caring about it all is present. he still instinctively reaches for you and yanks you out of the way before any agents can fire at you. honestly chances are you two kissed for the first time or something after getting into an argument about the topic (will say this applies to most of them lmao)

-chances are you mistake 2b's concern for plain irritation (or some sort of mal-intent if ur a more paranoid type like urs truly <333). which. to be fair.is understandable. where hank shows their concern by eliminating certain scenarios and keeping an eye out for you, 2b scolds you. it's never too scathing (unless you went seriously too far and don't have any real remorse for it, then he will get a little desperate to try and stress his point to you, even if it means being a little bit harsher than he intends to be) but it's still clear he doesn't like you putting yourself in harms way. he tends to be the one to deal with your worse injuries since smaller ones heal pretty quickly on their own (though, he still prefers to look at those and try and disinfect them), so it's safe to say he gets plenty of time to speak his mind. (Not entirely sure of how / where to put this so im putting it here in parenthesis lol ,, but . he does need a good bit of reassurance you're fine, he's seen a lot of the experiments the aahw has had but he's never seen someone quite like you. lot of late night hugs that go on for long periods of time because A) if you're taller then he can bury his face in the crook of your neck and feel / hear your heartbeat a little B) if you're shorter then he just . likes holding you. he knows you can handle yourself but he likes feeling like he at least some kind of ability to help / protect you.)

-dei does his best to not outwardly show exactly how concerned he is- he doesn't wanna put more pressure on you than you probably already have by your own standards n shit. you can still see it pretty clearly since you get stuck w/ him on missions quite a bit, and in some cases you both have to sit somewhere for a little while so you can try and heal a little after pushing too much. always offers for you to lean / lay on him, it feels like the least he can do since he doesn't have very much medical experience and you don't seem keen on teaching him when you're half conscious. admittedly he does freak out if you fall asleep / are especially cold, it makes his paranoid little brain go 'ohhh shit what if this did them in what if they don't get up fuckkk oh god oh god' . he does his best to power through it and just let you sleep or just put his jacket around you but he still clutches onto you a little too tightly (not to mention he's shaken you awake a few times before, he does his best to be gentle but again, grips a little too tightly and he's a little too frantic w/ it). he's had a few breakdowns where you've had to hold him because he's just that scared for you.

-sanford is kinda the same way as dei except he DOES scold you like doc does. not as much but he still gets on your case a little every now and then whenever you come back from a mission where you started to test some limits. also yanks you out of the way in the same way hank does, tends to keep you pretty close to him so he can keep an eye on you if you're especially bad at recognizing / following those limits. also has had to stick with you while you healed on missions sometimes, tends to just pull you into his side and keep you close. unlike dei though !! he does try and encourage you to rest a little (this might just be a me thing but if it helps you sleep too then he will kinda . pet you ? if that makes sense?? he runs warm and he's pretty gentle so it's just nice and tends to calm you down from any adrenaline rush you've got going on.) he however will not . he's too busy keeping both an eye on you and for any other agents / bandits / etc to be able to properly shut his eyes.

“Gone.” Sangwoo answered shortly, continuing to walk until he made it back to the rest of the group and sat down on the stairs.

“What? Are you telling me that they’re dead?” Gihun asked as he continued to follow the other man.

“Yes.” Sangwoo replied with no change in his facial expression.

Sangwoo didn’t show it, but all he felt was guilt and regret for what he had just done to you. He never thought that he would go through with it, but he surprised himself with doing it anyways because he didn’t want to die. He couldn’t die. He had to pay back his debt to everyone he owed, he had to make sure his mother’s shop was still going well despite him putting it all on the line. He looked around at everyone else, seeing that they all had the same looks on their faces after what had happened to everyone of them before he looked down at his hands, the hands that were now coated with your blood even if he wasn’t next to you when the gunshot rang. He hated himself at the moment, for what he had done to you and for what he was going to do in the future if it meant that he would win. He knew how fucked up it was, but he couldn’t help it. He had to win.

After the round had ended, Sangwoo didn’t sleep at all that night, too many thoughts running around his head that he couldn’t even get a blink of sleep if he tried when he heard someone get up and start moving. He sat up and looked around before his eyes stopped when he saw the man who was partnered with his wife go up onto the highest bed with the blanket in his hands, tied as if it were some sort of rope. Sangwoo continued to watch until the man wrapped the blanket around his neck and had killed himself by hanging himself. Sangwoo then looked away, beginning to feel even more guilt and regret after seeing the man kill himself because he ended up killing his wife and Sangwoo’s grip on the blankets on his bed tightened so much that his knuckles were turning white.

The male looked around to see if anyone near him was awake before tears slipped out from Sangwoo’s eyes, not being able to hold them back anymore as he held his hand over his mouth in case any noises came out that would wake anyone else. “I’m sorry, Y/n. I promise I’ll see you again. I promise.” He whispered to himself quietly as he cried.

Sangwoo would never let anyone else see him cry, which is why he only did it at night even when it was the night before the last game was supposed to happen. So that no one could see his weakness and take advantage of him at any moment. Especially when there was only a few games left now, when he was so close to the finish line that he could practically see it right in front of him, he just had to reach for it and he would win.

Which is why he didn’t hesitate to kill anyone else who was in his way. Because he had to see you again, even if that meant killing his closest friends just so he could win and there would maybe be a possibility of you being alive. Because the only one for him was you. And he fucked it up. So Sangwoo was going to try his best to get out of this hell for you, so that he could end up having more than enough money to buy you a grave if you were dead or find you wherever you were if you were alive.

Because Sangwoo loved you, even if he showed it the wrong ways. Even if he fucked it up in the end. He still loved you.

tokyo revengers idol au hcs part 3 that no one asked for AGAIN here’s part 1 and part 2 to get a better understanding.  this is what the members would be doing alongside their idol promotions+ what they would post on social media  toman tbh these guys are all just so damn funny on their own that they would constantly be invited to comedy variety shows. maybe perhaps doing something similar to seventeen or wanna one where they even have their own variety show on youtube (ie. seventeen’s-going seventeen series or wanna one’s show on mnet)  mikey-he would post basic food pics like of his parfaits or taiyaki but also it’s rare because he’d constantly forget his password. however on important days he’ll post long emotional and sentimental posts that hit you in your feels thanking his members and fans always. he also has a youtube channel posting random funny vlogs. draken- he has his own personal soundcloud to upload solo mixtapes/songs feat diff members. posts photos of his bikes and different tattoos he would be getting. responds with 1-2 words to fans during fansigns or ig comments but like mikey, once in a while, will also write heartfelt posts thanking everyone.  baji- his ig feed is filled with animals + dance practice vids. also has his own soundcloud too. trolls his members by commenting on their stuff. “delete this u ugly mf no one wants to see this”.  takemichi- very chatty, (sometimes too chatty where he’ll end up accidentally spoiling their next album info) and interactive on social media to his fans. tries his best to respond to most comments or ama ig stories questions. posts a lot of selfies and photos of his members. king of fan service.  chifuyu- beautiful photos of the sky a lot on his ig (in canon he wanted to be a pilot :,) ) along with cute soft selfies. (which baji and kazutora troll and comment being like “damn....u ugly AF!” “lmao stop pretending to act cute u loser”  kazutora- his ig is filled with pure chaos. just pics of him catching his members slipping (sleeping photos where they’re drooling or have their eyes slightly open or making ugly faces behind the scenes). also has photos of cursed memes and memes made by fans. he’s a literal enigma.  mitsuya- very wholesome ig photos- lots of photos of his family, group photos, sometimes cool artsy edited selfies. occasional photoshoot photos.  hakkai- ig is filled lots of #ootd photos and occasional photos from his modeling or acting gigs (he’s the visual, duh!) gets a lot of sponsorships from big brands.  pah-chin: has a joint youtube channel with peyan. they do silly challenges but will sometimes post dance videos (feat. baji) since they’re the main/lead dancers. fans love him because of his “matter-of-fact” responses that are funny without even trying. (example- fan comment: omg i love u guys soooo much u guys are the best in the whole world!!!<333 toman OUTSOLD!.  pah-chin: idk about best in the world but we’ll just take “the best in our neighborhood” for now i guess. thanks.”)  peyan: joint youtube channel with pah-chin. at fan signs mikey has to warn him to chill out cuz peyan will accidentally yell and scare fans without meaning to, but he’s just really excited to meet his fans is all ^_^   angry: posts a lot of wholesome photos like mitsuya (selfies with smiley) and writes a lot of motivational sweet captions cheering fans up and reminding them to always be happy :,)  smiley: joint youtube account with angry. smiley does a lot of prank videos and angrys just usually in the back like  🧍‍♂️... he also does tiktok- he would be doing all the dances, memes, and trends.  inui: ok hear me out, i mentioned before inui has similar vibes as cha eunwoo so i’d figure his ig would give the same vibe as his (iykyk). since he’s the other visual he would be getting a TON of acting and modeling gigs. idk why but i feel like inui would be a great actor (his facial expressions during tenjiku arc, the range!). actor of the year. gets a lot of skincare commercial deals too. 

black dragons shinichiro- photos of bikes, cars, and photos where hes pretending to do a cool pose but his members (+mikey) would troll and comment “LAME!!!!!” “why tf do u look like that?” “hey leader, it’s not too late to delete this now bestie :)” does fun ig lives. on variety shows as a joke his members tease him there as well. really great at fan-service and pulls the whole “pretend boyfriend” scenario with fans (the delusional fans are gonna act up if he keeps this up...).  taiju- (if shinichiro did not exist in this au OR if you wanted both in the group) photos of him at the gym, photoshoot photos.  inui- similar to if he was in toman, his ig would just be a lot of cool and cute photos of him from behind the scenes of dramas or photoshoots. a soft visual king. occasional selfies with koko and bike photos.  kokonoi- has a personal youtube channel but he would be Drowning in sponsorship videos all from high-end designer brands. he’s just casually flexing that PPL in his vlogs. ig feed is a lot of #ootd photos or pics taken with inui. him and inui would be makeup brand ambassadors or faces of brands (ex: like jennie from blackpink represents chanel). in this case kokonoi would be the face of fendi (he wears fendi slides in the manga cover) and inui would be the face of jimmy choo (his heels in the manga cover looked like jimmy choo but i could be wrong.. but u know what i mean) 

tenjiku  izana- pretty leader has a very artsy ig feed. extremely photogenic like inui. has photoshoot photos and candid pose photos. acts in dramas time to time (gg second male lead syndrome).  kakucho- posts gym or dance practice videos on his feed but he posts rarely because he’s just too busy or forgets he actually has an ig. loves commenting on takemichi’s posts “haha no wonder ur called baka-michi!” as a joke.  kanji- posts gym photos but it’s rare because he always forgets his password.  ran- the other visual. he would be modeling for high-fashion brands and go on runway shows. also definitely gives off actor vibes (he would be constantly casted in dark action movies hahaha). loves giving fan service.  rindou- in contrast to his brother, rindou when it comes to fan service, he loves trolling fans. also he’s really good at drawing a line between fans (y’know, keeping the delusional ones in check...which means he ‘friend-zones’ them but it’s for their own good tbh idols need to remind people their boundaries). has a youtube channel where he just posts random dance practice vids and occasional vlogs. also comments under his brothers ig posts “you look stupid af in this wtf”. on variety shows people find their brotherly banter hilarious.  mutou- posts gym photos, also really awkward selfies (he doesn’t know what his angle is lmao). another member who also reminds fans of their boundaries and keeps it real. (sanzu always likes his photos though and hypes him up in the comments).  sanzu- shy baby. constantly following mutou around. posts a lot of cute selfies and random pics of shogi stuff (he tags mutou in it of course). during fan signing/autograph sessions they love putting cute headband props on him like this or this. 

bonten because this group’s concept and aesthetic is mysterious, mature, artsy, gloomy, and dark they will take this concept to the grave. (minus a few exceptions) they are invited to variety/talk-shows but never make an appearance because they want to keep the air of mystery around them. (it’s a good marketing technique).  mikey- does not have any social media. he does have a private account to lurk around but no one knows what it is.  kokonoi- has a youtube channel but it’s locked and you have to pay to get into it. posts super short vlogs and teasers. thats it. This was kinda new to you, good, healthy relationships.. it was.. different. Your relationships sucked ass, quite frankly. Saving the world was pretty fucking tough, on everybody. It left everyone with unresolved trauma they couldn’t exactly just fix, or make much better. And June had kinda fucked off, telling you she needed a break from you, from everything, everyone. Not that you were dating or anything, you had been best friends for a long time, and she needed time to herself, you understood. You wished she would talk to you, but you couldn’t make her. She had a lot of her shit to deal with, shit with her dad, shit in general.

It was rough on you, which eventually caused you to move in with the bestest friends you had, Dave and Karkat. Who were also in love with eachother, but that’s a story for another time. You’d been living with them for so long, you knew at some point you’d have to move out. Especially when they would eventually start dating. Knowing those two it’d take forever, but you were still concerned. So you tried going on dates. You went on them, very often. All the time. Multiple days a week you went out with a new dude, on occasion a new girl. It never worked out. Usually you’d come home drunk, or crying. And they were there for you. It devastated them both. The other result was hooking up with the person, but never going anywhere.

Dave and Karkat truly could not express enough how dangerous that shit could be, but despite them chastising you for it every goddamn time, you never listened. But eventually, it came to a stop. An abrupt stop. When you met June again. She had.. changed. To say the least. For one, she was now a woman. No longer the man she was when you last saw her, her hair was longer, she had clearly taken some time to self reflect on herself, make herself more confident. She intended to come back a better, happier person. And she was.

She was gorgeous, really. The most lovely lady. You were absolutely bewitched by her, enthralling, really. It’s almost like you’ve never seen a woman in your entire life. In a way, it was kinda how it felt. Like you’d never seen a woman so pretty. Deep down, maybe you always had liked her. After all, she was one of the bestest friends you’ve ever had. She was a lovable, nerdy, dork. But perhaps you were content ignoring it for her happiness with Roxy. But now.. she’s single. And she’s.. just so pretty. How could you resist gawking at her like some fucking incel?

But as always she remained oblivious, thank fuck. But you really did stop trying to fuck any new person every other night. And Dave and Karat were quick to catch onto why that was the case, and boy they were endless about it. The constant teasing you got from the both of them was fatuous in your opinion. But it even got around to Rose and Kanaya, which made you groan to yourself in embarrassment at how obvious you have been. To be fair though, very intelligent women.

The point is.. for a long time you were scared. Scared to ruin a friendship with somebody that mattered to you. Scared even if you dated it’d be shit like all your other relationships. But it wasn’t. It was happy, it was healthy, it was loving. June wasn’t like those assholes, she was kind and considerate and liked you beyond having sex. She cared about you, she checked up on you, she bought you things she thought you’d really like, she tried to make you laugh with cheesy pickup lines and showed you these terrible movies and would assign you characters that reminded her of you.

You haven’t had that, ever. You’ve never been so happy with somebody and you’ve never felt so loved in your life. Felt comfortable goofing off and saying whatever dumb shit and trusting her with all your sad shit and just being so vulnerable. Feeling like you could spend your entire life with this person. But that’s what you felt for June and you’ve never felt it so strongly.

“Hey? You okay?” June asks, the concern was evident in her face, but you just gave her a reassuring smile. “Yeah, I’m good.” Good. For the first time in a long time.

waterparks!! will not lie i only really started listening to them about 6 months ago having been distantly aware of their existence for several years by being a fan of bands in the same genre. listen as long as you let yourself be vaguely annoyed by awsten is prevents you from being in love with him. follow him on any social media platform for like a day and you'll be sick of him typing in nothing but all caps within hours. simply do not romanticize him and you can keep yourself from falling!! so this is coming from a slightly fake parx fan, but some of my favs by them have been peach (lobotomy), crave, numb, fuzzy, violet!, you'd be paranoid too, and lowkey as hell. that is a very songs-from-their-most-recent-album-heavy rec, but whatever. i did give the disclaimer about being a fake parx fan.

yeah hayley does have 2 solo albums now!! petals for armor and flowers for vases / descansos. pfa is the one i didn't really like upon first listen but has grown on me. i haven't even listened to the second one in its entirety oops but we won't mention it. dead horse is good but simmer (pretty sure that was the other single??) just ain't it for me. the album has some lovely songs but it's just a hit or miss album all the way through. some favs of mine on it include pure love, taken, crystal clear, watch me while i bloom, and why we ever. it's sorta a storyline album about healing if that adds anything to it?? but anyways. i started listening to paramore around the time after laughter dropped and it grew to be one of my fav albums in existence. idle worship is probably one of my fav songs like ever. i def understand being slightly put off by bands with songs that make religious references (me with twenty one pilots' earlier music that makes a lot more religious references considering i'm not religious whatsoever) but i think i am blinded by being in love with hayley williams and just ignore it. idk that she's like super religious?? she's addressed believing in god and stuff a few times but she's def not the "rub it in your face" type and if she's making refs in music more recently then they're subtle enough i'm not noticing them. ik albums like brand new eyes had a lot more because it was shortly after that the band split and the songwriting process was essentially her and ex-bandmate co-songwriter arguing about their religious beliefs (turns out he ended up being super homophobic and transphobic all based on his religion so do with that what u will and thank the clown for leaving). i feel u on the "i meant to start listening to them" because that's essentially how i started listening to them. i told myself i was going to and then finally forced myself to do it. fuck falling for awsten knight what's more risky is falling in love with hayley </3
