the fact that we might never know how exactly the formal and the following plot were originally supposed to play out if webtoon hadn't forced quimchee to make the formal arc more ~advertiser friendly~ and as a result basically rewrite the climax and second half of s1 on the fly keeps me up at night .

#i'm back in my ily era and back on my bullshit (being a webtoon hater)#i love yoo #x #quim said whenever possible she fits in the things she had to cut out back then back into the storyline #and thankfully it works for the most part #but i just know the story would've flowed better and more naturally and would've been paced better #if webtoon had allowed quim to stick to the original script :/#like what do you mEANNN the hospital days and birthday party weren't originally planned !#and the fight between the brothers wasn't supposed to be in s1!?!#in an ideal world quim would have the energy and time and ressources to just redraw the story #from the formal arc up to the s1 finale #the way she originally imagined it #but obviously and understandably that's not gonna happen </3 #at least we'll always have the concept sketches from the original script she kindly shared and can peace some things together </3 #but yeah as i said: fuck webtoon !
