Yo @staff why the hell do you allow audio on your ads?
Can you at least give the option to permanently mute the audio on all of the ads
Especially that obnoxious tik tok ad that plays sudden loud drum noises
I am not paying you money to get rid of the ads
im just gonna stop using tumblr

#about to delete the app over it#in all seriousness i have ptsd and the sudden loud bangs are fucking me up every time#i have nearly thrown my phone 3 separate times#i have been keeping my time on this app to a minimum because of it#i shouldn't have to turn my volume all the way down just to use the app#not that that helps in any way#because if i turn my volume up to watch a video the ad audio will play if even a pixel of it appears on my screen#like it seems ridiculous but its actually causing me a not so insignificant amount of distress#i just had a (thankfully) minor flashback due to this fucking ad#this alone is enough to make me leave the site entirely#purposely hosting obnoxious ads on your site isn't going to make me pay for an ad-free version of tumblr#idec about seeing ads#i just shouldn't have to manually mute ads every 2 minutes while simultaneously having the shit scared out of me#please fix this shit
