hey there, it's your summer santa popping in to complete the second part of my court-mandated check in! your gift is pretty much done, so i don't have any exchange-related questions, but i would kill to hear about the proposed logistics of moomin warfare...

Unfortunately I've never spent time thinking about moomin warfare until now and I haven't really engaged with the canon since I aged out of the target audience good while ago. So I'm rusty on the details haha. But given that moomins are fat, white, and Finnish they seem exceptionally well adapted for winter warfare, but probably not any other kind of warfare (poor moomin BradNate in the desert...)

As for the hattifnatts I see two ways they could be weaponised: as IEDs where they're electrically charged and left there for someone to bump into, OR by exploiting their telepathic hattifnatt-to-hattifnatt magic(?) to communicate between troops. Hattifnatts don't seem sentient quite like the main moomin creatures, so their use would be like a better messenger pigeon I guess. An RTO would therefore be a hattifnatt wrangler/translator.
