Watching 999: What’s Your Emergency and seeing health professionals stating that they believe in Euthanasia, reading articles about those who are suffering with no hope of relief and hoping I have a choice if I’m ever in the position of sustained suffering I can’t help but wonder why Assisted Dying has not been legalised yet?! If my dog is suffering with no hope of reprieve I would take them to the vet to be “put out of their misery” but we can’t help our family members etc in the same caring, compassionate and dignified way?!
