like there is a LOT that pisses people off about orym that i'm cool with, him being stubborn as shit (makes for good conflict), him staying to the sidelines and only having big character moments if pushed (literally where orym excels as a character), him refusing to outwardly admit he cares about his friends and going behind their backs to mother-hen them from afar (swear to fucking god morri that other shoe better break his neck)

but yeah no i will 100% give the fact he just didn't even attempt to move on until dorian showed back up and assured him it was okay to do so almost instantly to people who don't like him.

imogen and laudna's relationship that their players admitted was just supposed to be a close friendship until the very last minute got hate up and down and even now still has been accused of being unhealthily codependent or uneven but orym refusing to move on with his life and relationship or talk to anyone about either until dorian returned doesn't receive an ounce of the same criticism? okay cool
