listen I hate living with my parents for many different reasons BUT I do have a soggy duck drying in my laundry room. so.
#very quick background: we rescued him from someone who took very bad care of him and he's never been able to walk bc of it#something was very wrong with his hips bc he could walk if he had his legs under him but he would fall a lot and theyd get stuck behind him#anyway its sad bc we do have to put him down (he cant move anymore to the point of being unable to bathe or eat by himself)#but like. what a bizarre set of circumstances that have led to me having a really old soggy duck being laid out on my floor to dry#imo my mom should have put him down a long time ago (he hasnt been able to swim for at least a year)#and she should have taken him to a poultry vet the moment she got him but she didn't bc they're ''too far away''#(theyre 30 minutes away.)#but at least she's doing it now#godspeed little soggy man. you hated us soooo much especially when we lovingly bathed you and carried you to your ladies 37 times a day#i almost broke my leg twice slipping on ice trying to carry you into the coop and you yelled so loudly right in my ear the whole time#o7#also no pics bc he's in a scary alien world and he hates us so much so i don't want to freak him out by trying to take a picture
