okay, obviously taking it as read that sofia was justified in wanting oz to suffer. this man was complicit in getting her locked up in a grotesque mockery of a mental institution for 10 years AND murdered her brother AND framed someone else for it AND stole her drug operation AND left her at the hands of a rival gang.

can we talk about how well-conceived her revenge plan was?

a regular, unimaginative person who'd got their hands on their enemy's beloved mother would have physically tortured and/or killed her in front of him and called it a day. not our girl!

she initiates the worst family therapy session and makes oz's mum confront the reality that he (a) killed her other two sons and (b) is willing to keep lying about it even when her physical safety is very much at stake. oz finds out his mother once wanted him dead AND hears her truthfully say she hates him now AND gets stabbed by her AND watches her collapse.

masterful plan. well done, sofia. i hope the thought keeps you warm at night.

I did not stress enough how upset I was when the blogger on here called fat/liberation turned out to be a feederism fetishist. And made a bunch of posts and answered a bunch of questions defending feederism as the admiration of fat people and sexualisation of body fat. I find that abhorrent I really do. Feederism is the fetish baby of misogyny and weight stigma. Feeders get off on making women too fat to be attractive, too fat that they are immobile and reliant on the feeder financially. And it conflates being fat with eating a lot and being lazy … which is antithetical, in my opinion, to the fat liberation movement.

Scully had been chasing this thing, whatever it was, for the past five minutes and while she didn't believe Mulder's particularly outlandish theories on what it might be, she had to agree that it had the speed and stamina of something more wild animal than human. She could feel herself running out of energy, slowing down, but then it suddenly didn't seem to matter. They'd disappeared, even though she'd only been a few metres behind them.

Coming to a stop, she immediately felt watched, and so automatically drew her gun, trying to keep her eyes on everything around her, an impossible 360.

Suddenly, she was knocked to the ground as it attacked her from behind. Letting out a gasp of shock, she sat up as quickly as possible, intending to shoot whatever the thing was, but someone else got there first, immobilising it in moments. If she had to hazard a guess, based on the efficiency, she'd say the person had dealt with this sort of creature before. Which made the saviour as interesting as the attacker.

Catching her breath, Scully took a moment before getting to her feet.

"I suppose I should thank you," she began, still not putting her gun away. The thing looked down, but for how long?
